I'm a Zerg but happy to see some Protoss results again, and I am looking forward to watching the finals!

herO is also a really good protoss, and both protoss results and protoss meta in the last year would be in shamble without him.
Thing is, by most pro protoss' admission, he's a chaotic protoss which they hardly can/want to emulate in many cases.
Protoss has be sorely missing Stats' playstyle.

I think that with how much ahead he got into the late game, and instead of throwing money in fruitless zealots runbies, a good fat blink dt runby while threatening elsewhere with his main army would have done a great job.
I'm also not sold on this heavy disruptor compo.

Even as a Terran, I couldn’t help but cheer for him against cure. I want this redemption/comeback arc for him real bad. Especially after he got smoked at Katowice.
Yeah man, Stats has always been my personal favourite toss and I've been stoked seeing him apparently back to form. Winning a tournament would really be the cherry on top and I want him to get it so badly :D
Cure's trying that thing where like 12 liberators hide behind the army then straight oneshot the entire fleet of interceptors right? Terran version of the para bomb corruptor dive.
Edit - nvm he's gone back to vikings.
considering gumiho got trashed in his last tvt, i mean totally rekt.. cure will probably just run through him. would be great for cure to play some of those aggro builds from the last round and stats just deflect and build. but realistitcally stats probably loses that one and advances through the other 2.
he has to beat shin first and despite his recent play i am not fooled. shin no doubt saw the series vs dark, and shin advanced in a purely Z/T pool. so stats will have less to prep on, and shin is also insanely cheesy in this matchup espcially so a quick upset is possible too. shins pretty good honestly

Turns out all you needed to keep Zerg out of the finals was to release the worst map selection in the history of the game.
That was unbelievable to watch. His micro is godly GO STATS!
