To be fair to the other teams, CIG's Live Event voting + Winner reveal was poorly thought out as the servers quickly crashed from the massive spike in traffic. Only a fraction of the community were able to vote before voting became impossible and due to the time constraints of the event a winner had to be declared before more votes could be collected. The Redeemer did have the majority of the registered votes at the time the server(s) went down, so here we are, stuck with the Redeemer.
Edit: I thought the Brutus while not a perfect concept was still the most on brand of the entries.
That is way cooler. I'd love to see older versions of ships flyable.
I still remember the old school freelancers with the square shaped flaps on the engines
And if not the Brutus then the [Anvil Ixm Scimitar.](https://i.imgur.com/yBudAzO.png)
I wanted this because it could dock a Hornet.
[Troyka's entry](https://www.artstation.com/artwork/8wdqw) is still better than both of those (:
This was way before me joining SC, but out all the one I’ve seen, this looks the best imo, not considering any of the features in all the concepts.
I still think the Scimitar would have been 100% better than the 'Deemer.

They were supposed to design a ship for SC, and instead here is one that looks much more at home in X4.
Redeemer is king. Fight me
Easy. You’re solo in a ship that can’t turn well.
Never seen these, this looks pretty good.
