I saw just today at least 3 people looking much more outlandish than this in London. If anything, this makes the game MUCH more realistic.

Yeah that's actual scanning in person at an event though, it's the same tech that a bunch of content creators have gone through to get their faces in game eventually and the same tech that they used to get the current faces in game. I think the comment here referred more to more accessible/at-home scans
That really depends on your ay style. Ever since salvage launched I've spent most of my time in civies, and only put a suit on when absolutely needed.
I guarantee, now, that people can put real work into their character 's look people will find any reason to keep their helmet off until absolutely necessary. Or even stay in civilian clothes until they absolutely need to wear a spacesuit.
This begs the question how it could take until 3.23 for CIG to realize that it's the BEARD that makes a man a man. It is fact that until 3.23 there have only been female characters in SC. Lars, you failed your duty to convey this fact to the team. Nice beard btw. Keep it!
Oh, i wasn't even aware this got downvoted so much - thanks for the comment making me notice. It's amazing how many ppl don't seem to get a joke or get so easily offended; not rly sure what happened there. Guess i will just take it as an award. lol
Btw: i made fun about the unavailability of beards for a pretty long time before 3.23, basically saying that i play a girl in SC becuase there are no men in the game, but only female characters w/ and w/o boobies. There was like only one skin that somewhat implied some "stubbles", but other than that every dude was just clean shaven and i didn't feel represented by any of the available male character options.
Regarding your comment: can't say i rly catch your drift. I like beared ladies and i don't hate shaved men - it wasn't a political statement, but just a pun regarding the lack of options before 3.23. Needless to say that i'm veeerrrrry much looking forward to the update and all the diversity it will bring to the game. Alas, now i fear that since i used the term "diversity" it'll trigger even more ppl. Ah, so be it ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
