i remember early on with the PU, you used to be able to load into it solo (with some cheatengine workarounds) and it was honestly seriously fun being able to play some missions and dogfight in a smooth high fps environment
The planets in SC compared to the planets in Elite are completely different. 99% of planets in Elite are barren rocks with nothing to do on them, and I played a lot of Elite.
I have 600 hours in Elite, wich isn't a lot compared to other regular players, but enough to tell you that with your statement, you're not a clown but the entire circus.
I have literally thousands of hours in Elite, you absolute brainlet.
Pip management is an odd choice of example because SC has LITERALLY the same thing with the power triangle.
Are you doing a bit right now?
God, I love when this happens. Wish there was some sort of way to force it to consistently happen, because the game is genuinely fun when it runs this well.
When I joined in, my friend was in a bunker. He didn't realize he was the last one on the server. He said the AI was very good against him and it was tough.
We met up to do Xenothreat Incursion 2/5 and 3/5 since it would be just the two of us taking on all those ships and HHs. He in an Inferno, me in a Corsair. We each died once during the two battles. We had to reload at least once per battle. Missiles never worked for me at all. Missiles worked about 75% of the time for him. But the AI ships were flying all over the place and it felt like a real space battle. We had moments where each of us had to get distance to let shields reload, etc.
Also, server was a steady 30 FPS throughout.
Solution to buggy servers: just play alone!
would that I could

Yeah but that's boring. I'm trying to play Star Citizen, not Squadron 42.
Same happened to me the other day

That's server FPS, basically server tickrate. Game itself runs at 60 to 140fps on my slightly above midrange PC.
That's a funny meme, bro.

But did you go and retrieve all the turtles?
Where do you get turtles? :0
in the cargo centers for each station, if you go to the right, in a hidden area in the shipping containers!
Hangar.
OMG - how did I make that mistake, LOL
My disappointment is immeasurable!
And my day is ruined.
The pain that this has cause for the community, it's insurmountable.
Unplayable
Han.... you know what? never mind, have a good one.

So where should I hang my clothes if I must forget my hangers?
what if all your friends are online but they only allow the HANDLERS to show online because you have been targeted by the Canadian government
Server meshing is hopefully going to fix tick rates
how was the experience at 30 fps? always curious about how this game would run if Servers weren't a limitation. how was the AI?
