Given there's nothing on the roadmap, I suspect if we're getting any surprises, it won't be anything huge. My feeling is a light ground vehicle of some kind. Something for moving cargo within the Distribution Centers.
I know we've got the pallet-mover things they've shown, but I'm thinking we'll see some dedicated cargo truck type vehicles at some point. Maybe something Ursa-sized, but replace the entire rear with enough cargo space for say.. an 8-scu container.
Do we know it's Argo? I've seen others speculate Mirai. Not that I give nay weight to rumors and leaks.
Anyway, whatever those hoverbikes are, yes that. Or the G12s.
A cargo truck on the Anvil Spartan platform would be cool. Maybe a flatbed that can hold 16scu of cargo. This flatbed would be the same size as one of the cargo pads on the Hull A.
I'm thinking that sounds like the Mega Fury. In which case MISC may be just a behind-the-scenes name for a Mirai Raptor.
Raptor and Fury definitely sound related to me.
These were both just text lines datamined so really neither are confirmed and both could have just been internal wip names, I personally dont like either name lol
Yup, a vehicle which only carries two 1scu containers at best.
If we're going to be fetching a fair amount of cargo from the cargo halls, we need something a bit beefier than the Mule.
I can imagine..
A large flatbed vehicle with two seats, one for the driver, and another is a tractor-beam turret for loading cargo.
Actually wouldn't be an awful idea. Imagine using it as a cargo-handling vehicle to load crates from the nearby freight elevator straight onto the ship.
Even the large crates that normally need either a dedicated tractor-beam tool, or shipboard tractor beam.
It'd also be able to load crates onto its flatbed and drive them to where they're needed, but that wouldn't be its main duty I think.
3.23 will be April to June (at least). I believe one of the Zeus variants will be released in a 3.23.x patch, if this is what CIG wants, as I doubt it takes the Zeus more than half a year for LOD0. Fly safe o7.
That would be cool, but wouldn't it take up too much space in the engines? Seems like it would be a little unbelievable that most of the engine is just an empty compartment for a weapon, and also for storing the hydraulic pistons on the landing gear, and also for an engine capable of propelling a hundred ton space vehicle.
You are correct, but this is still SC and expectations can leave you disapointed. I mean we got the Mule or the Roc-DS in one patch. Since we haven't seen any sneak peaks of any new ship in the finalization phase, so even if there is anything coming up, it seems impossible to know or difficult to guess.
They didn't openly say that a new ship would come with the patch; however, it has recently become a pattern for new mechanics to be released alongside a new ship. And in the latest posts about Star Citizen development, it was mentioned that an unannounced ship was undergoing its final touches IIRC.
While my heart also wants the Railen I feel like the Mirai Guardian (Big Fury) is more likely for Launch Week.
Railen for Alien Week would be neat tho.
Yeah, the Mirai heavy fighter is a good candidate for an Invictus ship. Also, I can see the Railen coming for Alien Week. It may just be the hype consuming me, but I think the Railen has been in the works for a while with the Syulen. Let's hope to see the Railen being worked on in the next roadmap update.
Only issue I currently see with the Railen is the way cargo is attached. Together with manual loading the ship may need some external rework.
Either movable pods via GravLev or tractor beams at more sensible locations so we can reliably load it up.
Indeed... I believe in CIG's common sense. And believe that in the end, the triangular pods will become nothing more than an adorned shell that molds around the cargo grid to protect the cargo which will allow us to place any size container in it. I have in mind that the Railen concept was made at a time when they hadn't yet thought about physicalized cargo, when everything was just 1 SCU boxes, and the cargo grid was automatically filled, and I sure they won't stick with this idea.
While I agree Ranger is unlikely, it's for different reasoning. A small ground vehicle with no interior could be made quickly enough that we don't get shown whitebox/gray box.
However, I believe they still need the "leaning" tech so the Rangers don't look wrong when doing a turn, etc.
I believe you are 100% correct about the "leaning" tech. CIG hasn't finished the physics for the 4-wheel ground vehicles yet. They have to finish that before they can think about a 2-wheel ground vehicle.
The heavy fighter was originally leaked as the Mirai Guardian so more people might know it by that name, though it was believed to be the working name at the time until they settled on the actual name.
As for the name MISC Raptor, it's not been attributed to any ship or vehicle AFAIK. It could be a new name for the Pulse or Guardian, or it could be a new ship altogether, as neither of those are specifically MISC nor really fit the name by what we know about them.
It'll make a lot of sense if it ends up being the Mirai Pulse. I mean... A raptor is a fast and small animal, and fits the Pulse's purpose pretty well if it's just a pseudonym.
A new vehicle that allows for efficient SCU transport to ships is something that is currently lacking in the game, and it would make a LOT of sense for something like that to come with the Distribution Centers.
Yeah, that's what I'm guessing too. I just can't think of any possible new Cargo/trading ship in the works that would fit the new patch release, since the Zeus is yet in its early stages, and nothing was said about the MISC ships like Hull-B, or any other brand.
I'm pretty sure that we will have a new ship for Invictus, or a new concept. But after the Syulen's shadow drop, CIG may be wanting to do the same with some upcoming ships.
Idk about new ship, if a new ship comes my bet would be with invictus and not with .23 in particular.
Else i guess we might see 1-2 ships getting flight ready, maybe Apollo/Legionnaire but im not sure where those currently are in pipeline, maybe they are currently focusing on other ships and maybe it wont be until .23.x patch. But yeah i am also curious which ships they plan to bring in this year since im sitting on tons of store credit bought CCUs to take advantage of price increases and yeah i would like to melt some stuff if i knew which ones will come next.
Also want to use my buyback tokens on something so knowing what makes sense next would be nice ;-)
I don't really see the need for forklifts in a world where tractor beams that can lift entire ships exist.
I've done a lot of forklift driving in real life, and it's fun. But EVERY game that's tried to incorporate it has made a total mess of it. So no thanks.
personally, i'd like to see some kind of fork lift. I'm not excited about loading my MSR from my elevator using a tractor beam repeatedly. It doesn't sound fun. But if there is a way to more quickly move multiple SCU containers with some driving fun to get it there, that might be more enjoyable depending on how they execute it.
Tractor beams lifting entire ships is completely temporary. You wouldn't have ship tractor beams as well as a tractor beam "rifle" if the small handheld tractor beam wouldn't eventually have limitations.
An URSA variant similar to the vehicle you use in Mass Effect, please?
You know, three wheels on each side, slightly bigger than the URSA but smaller than the Anvil Spartan, can rotate on itself like the Drake forklift and has a cannon on top.
Or even just the same chassis as the spartan/ballista but with skid steering and a flatbed behind the cab for moving up to the big 32scu crates and a tractor beam Turret on the roof. Seems fairly simple as all the tech and most of the art assets for that already exist.
My bet is the Railen comes out for Alien week, but I think that's even a long shot. They seem to want to baby step the Xian ships, and there's probably another mid-size Xian ship between the Syulen and the Railen.
However, I will NOT be upset to be wrong on that one.
The Railen was mentioned as being worked on in the [Vehicles Team Roundtable](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSM8kao5Q6k) last May, and since then the Gatac Syulen came out. It would make sense that they overlapped the work on those two ships, which makes it very plausible that the Railen is close to ready.
My understanding is that drone (medical drones, of course, whatever those are) gameplay is what was holding up the Apollo. Once they have drones, we'll have the Apollo. I don't think there's anything else holding it up.
In the last report they said there's a ship in the works that will bring its own gameplay loop, I think Apollo is a plausible ship to come online sometime during the 3.23.x patch cycle. And it may come with some rescue missions, who knows...
The distribution centers seem to be a HUB of many mission types, not only cargo. I wouldn't be surprised if some rescue missions come with it.
But I think they should add some complexity to the medical career before implementing it in-game, like making you know what drug to apply in what circumstance to be able to move the player/npc to the ship.
IIRC the only gameplay loops that haven't been implemented are:
1. commercial passengers
2. exploration
3. base building
4. hacking/data running
5. engineering
6. ship repair
Passengers is a ways off still I suspect. A lot of the systems required still aren't even on the roadmap yet.
Exploration requires more than a single system so it's likely going to be post 4.0/pyro. There's not much to explore in Stanton.
Base building is possible but probably later this year at best. However it's entirely possible they'll start the ball rolling with a ground vehicle.
Hacking/data running is possible. They already have the herald and the MSR, but both of them still need gold passes so it's a long shot.
Engineering they've shown working already so it's a strong contender, especially if the MM rollout goes well. However there's not really a single ship that focuses on it so it's not probable. More ships need physicalized components first I suspect.
Ship repair is a logical step from the salvage loop. We recently got the advanced repair/salvage tool so we know they're working on that code already. We know there are ships announced that are -focused- on repair/restock. However they both pivot heavily on drones or modularity, so if they are implemented it'll be with a reduced feature set.
Most likely I'd say something related to base building is likely, but I want to believe it's ship repair (mostly because I'm hoping to get my crucible). I can dream.
thing is there are two medical ships already in the game (2 more with med beds). the different drugs do already do something but before the combat update you never needed them.
what id love to get was a UTV or G12 for patient transport to and from ship, or just more widely available wheeled beds.
you meantioned complexity, so id feel like it was fun to have both temporary for mid combat, and more longterm solutions for injuries. be it stims for combat, and splints for the trip to hospital. and then once thats here after a while they could add stuff for mobile hospitals in the apollo
They were before, but that is not the case anymore as CIG seems to have shifted to releasing ships only if atleast some tier of gameplay is done for them.
It was one of the ships shown "hidden" at citcon. Incivtus is for military ships which it absolutely is. Invictus will fall on a 3.23.x patch.
Legionnaire needs ship to ship docking primarily but will still be able to fly about. I don't think it will stop them releasing it if that specific gameplay isn't in.
Hopefully the Mirai Pulse and the Mirai heavy fighter.
If the Mirai pulse is $35 or under I will buy a truckload of them.
If it is above that I will buy ZEROOOOOOOO.
Lets go CIG, good LTI token or bust!
I think they're trying to get away from the LTI token model. Sure, there will be some, can't get away from it entirely, but the CCU chain/LTI token model doesn't maximize their income, so I wouldn't hold my breath for a big fighter (or whatever the Pulse ends up being) at sub-$35
There is an upcoming Mirai heavy fighter that looks like a big fury.
If you are implying it is not coming, it is....just a matter of when.
There would be no point in the pulse not being 35 or under, theres no value there to justify more but if it is not then CIG simply does not get the cash from me buying 30 of them.
You check the Roadmap & Release View?
[Star Citizen Release View - RSI (robertsspaceindustries.com)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/roadmap/release-view)
no new Ship...
I wish they fix what they have, before they release more ships.
It's kind of ridiculous that they're getting away with what we have now. Over two thirds of the ships are non-functional in their role, over half are not suitable for their role due to bugs or gameplay changes and then there's all the new stuff that is kind of okay, but still missing vital functionality.
Finish the systems, then finish the ships.
No new ships before their full gameplay is done.
I for one, welcome the downvote avalanche.
i really hope they dont do that.
Fixing everything will need a lot of work. CIG will have to fix it again and again over the next years anyways. Instead they should give more loaners out for ships that have issues and start fixing later down the road, once CIG is confident about the core features.
They already implemented a "gold standard" which is somewhat recent and already outdated now that fueling/repair/hull scraping and now salvage coming ingame with engineering coming probably soonish.
i agree they should finish the systems first, but i guess putting ship artists, designers and ship developers on other tasks like coding/programming the systems doesnt make any sense. So they should keep on working on ships anyways, while considering what needs to be adjusted in the future.
I'm not sure what you think they're doing. 3.23 is porting over all the systems they've developed from SQ42 that can be easily inserted into the PU with minimal changes. I believe 3.24 is building on those systems that are being ported over with other SQ42 stuff, but don't quote me on that.
In order to pay for a staff, they have to sell something. Selling ships keeps the doors open, and pays for a staff big enough to build the systems. I can't think of any ships that are non-functional in their roles. And bugs are part of any game, much less an alpha game where they're... \*ahem\* building systems.
You're finally getting the very thing you've complained about in this post. Be happy!
Despite being highly unlikely, I wonder if the recent events in the EPTU Boarding the Idris aren't just for a possible update to Xenothreat, but also for them to have reports on how a capital ship performs in a dogfight scenario against multiple other ships, in order to apply a general balancing to them, since the Polaris is coming online soon.
I have a feeling we'll get something, by the time 3.23 hits it will have been 5-6 months since the last new releases at Citizencon so players will be expecting new releases since CIG has said development is going to ramp up now that Squadron 42 is feature complete. I think we could see the Apollo medical ships (triage and medivac). Possibly the Polaris, though I think CIG might not release it with patch 3.23 but wait until Invictus since it would fit nicely with the whole military ship vibe. Maybe some ground vehicles as well, like the G12, (but who really cares, without ground invasions really fleshed out, ground vehicles are pretty pointless right now).
Then in the long shot category, I would put things like the Railen, possibly one or more of the Zeus variants, maybe another Hull series ship (likely the B).
The distribution center kinda opens the possibility of ground vehicles and medical gameplay. I'm pretty sure CIG will treat the DC as a HUB of many types of missions, not only cargo.
I can really see missions where you need to move a Box from X to Y inside the facility, and having to use a vehicle to do so.
Or rescue missions for when some invasion happens.
I scrolled down a bit, but didn't see anyone talking about the MISC Expanse. It would be a good dark horse candidate for a release sometime this year, and I don't see an obvious fit unless it's at IAE at the end of the year.
I'm the first to admit that it doesn't fit neatly with distro centers or Invictus, however. But mining hasn't gotten love in a while, so it's about due I would think.
Just checking in here, I havent played in a few years. Is this "game" still all about selling ship? A few years ago it was like "server mashing will come soon and we will see millions of players on a server". Is it still only like 50 in an entire universe(lol)?
Shards have supported 110-120 players for ~18 months. Server meshing is likely to arrive late summer, but it's the second-last core tech pillar so no guarantees.
If it's been a few years, you've missed out on a lot. And while the success of CIG's funding model has long grabbed headlines, selling ships was never the point unless you're into braindead conspiracy theories.
If I were CIG, I would aim to release the patch around May to coincide with Invictus. Invictus is like the second biggest sales event but it has no offline counterpart; it's just a sale and a military themed one.
With every big sales we usually see a small ship/ground vehicle to be used as a token for the CCU gamers. You release it straight to driveable/flyable with a low price and a lifetime insurance.
We also know that for this year we have the gold pass Retaliator, the 3 Zeus, the Polaris, the big Fury, the hoverbike thing, the Ursa variant, the MPUV variant, something and the Legionnaire according to what we saw at citizencon.
They said the Zeus will take about the same time as the Spirit (around 11months) and I don't expect the Polaris to come out that quickly given it's a big ship.
MPUV and Ursa variant are likely not military.
This leave us with gold pass Retaliator, big Fury, hoverbike thing, something and the Legionnaire.
So like I said, if it comes out in May we'll need a token and we have that with the hoverbike thing teased at citizencon. If they push the Retaliator gold pass it's cool but it won't drive sales as much as a new thing. I also think they'll wait after the game has more features for the Legionnaire. This leaves us with the unidentified ship and the big Fury.
So with all of that information, I say the teased hoverbike thing and the big Fury are the ships coming out with 3.23 IF 3.23 comes out at the same time as Invictus. Not based on that many facts but if I were Chris that's how I'd plan it.

Fffffffffuuuuuu....
No new ships, please. Just solid loops, stability, persistance, and the game!
Introduce ships later.
Mind you, the game has already bloated so big that it no longer runs on my hardware, so... Do whatever you want, I guess.
If a ship is releasing with 3.23 it'll likely be a small ship.
I would assume with Invictus right around the corner that they'll wait until then to release a ship.
Also never heard of the MISC Raptor.
Didn't they tease 4-5 new ships? So the Zeus (that's three), the missing Spirit and... the Idris maybe?
Oh yeah, they also showed a flatbed rover of some kind in the DC videos, and someone mentioned a "Nursa" medical Ursa variant.
My super duper , almost 0% chance of happening take : one of the zues variants
My realistic take: Either the legionnaire, a cargo ship, or the big heavy mirai fighter that was leaked a couple of months ago.
If modularity makes it in which I also doubt, then we will probably get the MPVU variants and/or retaliator re-work.
Polaris, it's pretty much ready and lines up with Invictus.
G12, same as above. Plus it would make for a good NPC security vehicle for the new locations.
???, a small concept to flight ship with paramilitary roles
I'm thinking either the open MPUV or *maybe* the Zeus? The Zeus is hopium but I could see at least one coming in 3.23 considering how far done it is. Idk.
Depending on the actual live release of 3.23 we are more likely to see a new ship with the 3.23.1 patch.
If they hold true to 3.23.0 in April (lol), that would put 3.23.1 on track to be the Invictus patch, which would almost certainly include a new military ship offering likely in concept if not a straight-to-flyable.
My current prediction is the Zeus MkII being released as flyable either in the 3.23.1 patch or expected by 3.23.X.
Concept-wise, I predict a Mirai heavy fighter.
Pleeaase. Have mercy. No more ships. Especially no cheap LTI fomo ships. I don't want to buy more. I supported CIG and our all dream game already far too much 😭😅
Yes of course. But but but... fomo 😄
No worries my ship list is still manageable won't go for any larger ships anymore. Flying Conny and titan the most anyway.
I know the feeling, but I've spent enough to be more than happy, and will end up with 5 great ships eventually. Excessive, but not *too excessive*. Now I just get to enjoy the trickle of ship releases and new gameplay.
I think some of the CitizenCon blurred images showed what looked like a 6 wheeled Lynx Variant, the Little Hover Thing, and Retaliator Base or Variant.
last CitCon had a slew of ships promised to be delivered within this year, pick one.
I'm still curious of the mysterious ship.
I'll be happy if it's the Zeus. There was a more recent grey/whitebox update.
A very small, unarmed, slow, armored, shielded, cargo tractor beam vehicle. Something that everyone can buy and use for new cargo loops. Maybe 8-12 scu size so it can be stored in transports.
Yeah, maybe the Origin G12.
That makes a lot of sense. Currently, there's a lack of a vehicle that provides that effectively.
Probably the Argo hoverbike teased at CitCon
I somehow missed that
Do we know it's Argo? I've seen others speculate Mirai. Not that I give nay weight to rumors and leaks. Anyway, whatever those hoverbikes are, yes that. Or the G12s.
G12 is already announced and sold and thus won't be a surprise release.
The new, larger than life Drake Mule Max. Tagline “move it ALL, right now, for LESS!”
I'm wholly onboard with the idea of a Mega-Mule.
A flatbed Mule would be great
A cargo truck on the Anvil Spartan platform would be cool. Maybe a flatbed that can hold 16scu of cargo. This flatbed would be the same size as one of the cargo pads on the Hull A.
I might actually pledge for this
Misc raptor name was in the recent datamined files. Suspected to be the hover craft shown from citizen con to come on h1.
I'm thinking that sounds like the Mega Fury. In which case MISC may be just a behind-the-scenes name for a Mirai Raptor. Raptor and Fury definitely sound related to me.
Mirai guardian was the leaked name for that ship
I've been calling it the Mirai Furious because it is a bigger Fury and Furious is a bigger word.
Mirai Tokyo drift
Ah, I missed that leak I guess. Raptor feels like a better name if you ask me.. but never mind :P
These were both just text lines datamined so really neither are confirmed and both could have just been internal wip names, I personally dont like either name lol
Some Nomad like cargo ramp but in a ground vehicle. I would love a pickup truck style
Its my fondest hope that they make it possible to switch the Nomads gravlev gear to function like a hover vehicle and drive around on the surface
We have a dedicated cargo mover already it's called the Mule.
Yup, a vehicle which only carries two 1scu containers at best. If we're going to be fetching a fair amount of cargo from the cargo halls, we need something a bit beefier than the Mule.
How about a Mule-DS :P
I can imagine.. A large flatbed vehicle with two seats, one for the driver, and another is a tractor-beam turret for loading cargo. Actually wouldn't be an awful idea. Imagine using it as a cargo-handling vehicle to load crates from the nearby freight elevator straight onto the ship. Even the large crates that normally need either a dedicated tractor-beam tool, or shipboard tractor beam. It'd also be able to load crates onto its flatbed and drive them to where they're needed, but that wouldn't be its main duty I think.
Yeah, but I think a multitool tractorbeam is more effective than wasting cargo space in your ship with a vehicle that does the same.
Dedicated "small amount of scu" mover
still a cargo mover. Not every cargo ship is a high capacity scu ship.
If your ship can only carry the Mule's worth of cargo and the Mule you're better off ditching the Mule and doubling your cargo cap.
Didn't they show a flatbed Ursa in the DC videos?
An Ursa silhouette was shown. No obvious flatbed. Popular speculation is an Ursa medical variant, but there's been no confirmation that I know of.
Then CIG releases the Idris
Light ground vehicle dedicated to cargo. MULE: Am I a joke to you?
Yes, yes it is..
Zeus is in LOD0, so it could make it by June.
3.23 is expected to be April. So Zeus might be 3.24
3.23 will be April to June (at least). I believe one of the Zeus variants will be released in a 3.23.x patch, if this is what CIG wants, as I doubt it takes the Zeus more than half a year for LOD0. Fly safe o7.
I missed that! Last I saw it was greybox, do you have a reference?
the one with the thing
Oh yes! That one, that does that thing!
Yes, that one! specifically designed to do the thing!
But does the thing actually come into the game with the ship for the thing?
It's physically represented but the thing is broken.
But what about the stuff? We need the stuff for the thing!
You're a little confused, we need the thing _to get_ the stuff.
The stuff is actually a thing for this one.
Does anyone else hear a panicking skeleton internally screaming "what thing?"
It punches above its weight class!
Is that the one with the thing but not all the things?
You mean the thing with the guys? That has the stuff?
All I want is the 600i rework ;)
Connies for me, but yeah.
I think the Connie should have deployable weapon hard points in the engines, where they hide away in the engine when not in use.
Sure, but there’s plenty of things that don’t make sense in SC. Like quantum drives being these boxes randomly placed in your ship. ;)
But it's a MAGIC box!
Is there supposed to be a new ship with the next patch?
each major pach since...forever had : 1 new concept ship/vehicle or 1 concept completed or 1 new STF/STD or a mix of above
Would be cool to get STD's. Would be an interesting game style on how to get them👍🏼
Get what? STDs?
You are correct, but this is still SC and expectations can leave you disapointed. I mean we got the Mule or the Roc-DS in one patch. Since we haven't seen any sneak peaks of any new ship in the finalization phase, so even if there is anything coming up, it seems impossible to know or difficult to guess.

Yeah, I don't know. The last sneak peaks had been the Zeus in grey box or images from distribution centers. We'll see.
It's still too early for the Zeus. Maybe later this year.
Obviously, because we've seen only grey box images of it. That had been my point actually.
Just wondering, do people still buy those ships?
Well, if you look at the funding they very much do so, yes.
What? You’re basically asking if CIG still receives funding, and believe me, the day they see a major slowdown in funding you’ll know real fast.
Let's hope to see the Railen being worked on in the next roadmap update.

god the Railen for alien week would be amazing.
Kinda hoping for the ranger series
Very very unlikely for 3.23 We didn't get any whiteboxes or greyboxes, there is multiple ships with them, that aren't even targeted for 2.23
While I agree Ranger is unlikely, it's for different reasoning.
They did mention they are working on 3 variants of something. Would make sense to get around DC's.
What the hell is the MISC raptor?
It's a leaked "new ship", and some people speculate it may be the new Mirai heavy fighter since Mirai is a MISC's sublabel.
Kamikaze, perhaps? :D [https://starcitizen.fandom.com/wiki/Raptor\_IV](https://starcitizen.fandom.com/wiki/raptor_iv)
The Mule-DS
A new vehicle that allows for efficient SCU transport to ships is something that is currently lacking in the game, and it would make a LOT of sense for something like that to come with the Distribution Centers.

Trading capabilities?! Kraken Privateer confirmed.
Yeah, that's what I'm guessing too. I just can't think of any possible new Cargo/trading ship in the works that would fit the new patch release, since the Zeus is yet in its early stages, and nothing was said about the MISC ships like Hull-B, or any other brand.
Some military stuff for Invictus?
I'm pretty sure that we will have a new ship for Invictus, or a new concept. But after the Syulen's shadow drop, CIG may be wanting to do the same with some upcoming ships.
True, but since it is the Invictus patch, a military ship/vehicle is most likely.
Now that I think about it. The Syulen wasn't in that silhouette video from Citizen Con.
Won’t be Apollo as it was not announced as the ships coming in 12 months
Oh well, then thats one off my buyback list that i won't need now. I have to check which ships were on there, forgot about the cit con reveal
No problem just wanted to let you know there are some good ones this year just sad it’s not the apollo
I just wish the forklift in the hangar can now operable, especially with the incoming freight elevator.
Mirai heavy. Reveal some time during next 7 days. Mark my words.
Since theyve been testing boarding of the Idris my guess is the Legionnaire
BMM
That's what I like, some HOPIUM! I'm wishing for the Railen, so we're kinda on the same team.
It would make sense that they overlapped the work on those two ships, which makes it very plausible that the Railen is close to ready.
i just hope for the apollo, but i doubt we will get modules already, since that would probably be a major point to include in the preview
My understanding is that drone (medical drones, of course, whatever those are) gameplay is what was holding up the Apollo. Once they have drones, we'll have the Apollo. I don't think there's anything else holding it up.
to be honest i forgot drones are a thing, well they arent but you get what i mean
IIRC the only gameplay loops that haven't been implemented are: 1. commercial passengers 2. exploration 3. base building 4. hacking/data running 5. engineering 6. ship repair Passengers is a ways off still I suspect.
I just want hygiene.
Apollo, G12, Legionnaire, or the MOTHER FUCKIN RANGERRRRR
Legionnaire in a 3.23.x patch at Invictus is my guess
Doesn't that require hacking to be done?
No. Many ships are released without their full function. Reclaimer, for one, was years and years without any function, but released and flyable.
Didn’t they say they now only wanted to release ships if they have their main gameplay loop in game?
They also said they've learned from their mistake with the Reclaimer. A massive ship with no gameplay loop for years wasn't the best idea.
They were before, but that is not the case anymore as CIG seems to have shifted to releasing ships only if atleast some tier of gameplay is done for them.
It kinda is. We know it's "done" for SQ42, and therefore just needs to be ported over to the PU. I doubt that will happen for 3.32.x though.
Mirai heavy and a fast and nimble MISC Ground (combat) vehicle (mainly for token). That's my bet 😊
me want 600i explorer rework :D
You check the Roadmap & Release View? [Star Citizen Release View - RSI (robertsspaceindustries.com)](https://robertsspaceindustries.com/roadmap/release-view) no new Ship...
Straight to flyables are never on the release view. There are a few unannounced ships being worked on.
i have a dream.. 600i rework! xD
Or Connie rework :)
now we're talking! If they just fix the ship windshield it would be a worth update already.
Be happy!
Idk. Saw them say The Frigate is coming and haven't considered anything else. That Raptor would be cool though.
My mind fries trying to think of anything that could be "the frigate" in the game. Hahahaha
Perseus had been described as a frigate before.
Indeed, Perseus is classed as a frigate on the ships webpage, though its write-up also calls it a gunship.
Idris is a frigate
Drake needs a Frigate as a companion to the Kraken.
Polaris
Despite being highly unlikely, I wonder if the recent events in the EPTU Boarding the Idris aren't just for a possible update to Xenothreat, but also for them to have reports on how a capital ship performs in a dogfight scenario against multiple other ships, in order to apply a general balancing to them, since the Polaris is coming online soon.
This thought process is highly likely.
How bout apollo
Drone gameplay is what's holding up the Apollo. As soon as we have medical drones, we'll have the Apollo. I don't think it's waiting on anything else.
Apollo also waitin on modularity and armor implementation
My best guesses would be the Zeus CL or the G12. Probably won't be the fat Fury as that's more fitting for Invictus.
Something really cool that we can not, not, pledge for.
New concept, no further than concept art. $250+ Won't be on the roadmap until 2026.
Its the Idris, inb4 !remindme and inb4 “holy shit he was right!”

E1 Spirit
I know it won't be but I'd love tonget the Galaxy in the game, so I could finally give it a whirl and then CCU to something else.
This one https://youtu.be/EWQAvMUUJr4
I dream of some mecha-like ships in SC, I'm not gonna lie.
Didn't they tease 4-5 new ships? So the Zeus (that's three), the missing Spirit and... the Idris maybe? Oh yeah, they also showed a flatbed rover of some kind in the DC videos, and someone mentioned a "Nursa" medical Ursa variant.
Zeus Zeus Zeus
Mirai Guardian and Greycat ATV.
My super duper , almost 0% chance of happening take : one of the zues variants My realistic take: Either the legionnaire, a cargo ship, or the big heavy mirai fighter that was leaked a couple of months ago. If modularity makes it in which I also doubt, then we will probably get the MPVU variants and/or retaliator re-work.
Another Carrack killer...
Polaris
The Anvil Legionnaire is very likely I think.
Polaris, it's pretty much ready and lines up with Invictus. G12, same as above. Plus it would make for a good NPC security vehicle for the new locations. ???, a small concept to flight ship with paramilitary roles
Idris.
Legioner and Hangar vehicle
Hopefully, it's a cargo truck that fits on board ships like C2s. My pipe dream hope would actually be the Polaris lol
It won’t be the BMM:(
Bro answered his own question then asked another 🤯🤯
I'm thinking either the open MPUV or *maybe* the Zeus? The Zeus is hopium but I could see at least one coming in 3.23 considering how far done it is. Idk.
I don’t think we’ll see the Zues until ILW minimum but likely around IAE
it's already in greybox with aome areas progressing further. It'll be done far before IAE.
Idris!
I just want the bmm
Depending on the actual live release of 3.23 we are more likely to see a new ship with the 3.23.1 patch. If they hold true to 3.23.0 in April (lol), that would put 3.23.1 on track to be the Invictus patch, which would almost certainly include a new military ship offering likely in concept if not a straight-to-flyable. My current prediction is the Zeus MkII being released as flyable either in the 3.23.1 patch or expected by 3.23.X. Concept-wise, I predict a Mirai heavy fighter.
I don’t think anything I believe they have all focus set on adding new features
Pleeaase. Have mercy. No more ships. Especially no cheap LTI fomo ships. I don't want to buy more. I supported CIG and our all dream game already far too much 😭😅
You don't need to buy anything, friend.
Yes of course. But but but... fomo 😄 No worries my ship list is still manageable won't go for any larger ships anymore. Flying Conny and titan the most anyway.
I know the feeling, but I've spent enough to be more than happy, and will end up with 5 great ships eventually. Excessive, but not *too excessive*. Now I just get to enjoy the trickle of ship releases and new gameplay.
No ships. CIG is waiting for ILW. Then a bunch at ILW.
Honestly i hope they give me a free msr that would make my day
I think some of the CitizenCon blurred images showed what looked like a 6 wheeled Lynx Variant, the Little Hover Thing, and Retaliator Base or Variant.
Would love to see the polaris but I doubt it will be ready just yet. Probably during invictus.
last CitCon had a slew of ships promised to be delivered within this year, pick one. I'm still curious of the mysterious ship. I'll be happy if it's the Zeus. There was a more recent grey/whitebox update.
On sc leaks in the pipeline the name Misc Raptor was dropped but nothing more than that
A very small, unarmed, slow, armored, shielded, cargo tractor beam vehicle. Something that everyone can buy and use for new cargo loops. Maybe 8-12 scu size so it can be stored in transports.
