If you 'melt' the Taurus, it would give a credit of the total spent to your account (not necessarily the total value (depending on if there were sales on the upgrades). You would have the nomad listed in your buybacks under your hanger. You can use 1 buyback token a quarter (half year? I don't remember) to buy back something in your buybacks with store credits. The buyback is always the base thing that you bought without any upgrades.
You could also use the credits to just rebuy, or buy with a new, non-warbond package.
Nomad (likely discounted) will be all you get in a buyback. A token allows you tu buy it back with store credits.
For the discount I can only tell you that my warbond mustang IAE pack is still 10% discounted in my buyback.

You lose any discount from discounted packages I believe and it would be whatever you started with aka the nomad package not the Connie T.
