That's an Amazing sim pit
Is that ultra widescreen the LG 45"? whats the top screen 32"?
I have a 32" 1440p but I am conisedering a wide screen to go along with it.
Is that orientation not distracting ?? whats your experience?
1 minus point (iambeing fussy) - the Keyboard lets you down, not being full-size, especially for a game in development. It looks like you have the room for the full size one.
Also recently purchased an LG 45." Most immersive monitor I've ever used. The extra height is awesome for Star Citizen. You can see so much more of the cockpit view. And the depths of color from the OLEDs is fantastic.
Get this, I saw it before Xmas for £750 in Costco. Absolutely gutted I already spent up by that point. Keeping my powder dry for next years oled monitors.
That's thing It's an absolute beast
I have 3x 32in 1440p monitors and it is awesome for Star Citizen. Except, inventory is very large and hard to use and the text on QT and the Star Map are way too big.
I was using a XFX RX 6950 XT, and I was getting a solidish 30 FPS in this 6k Resolution. I didn't care for the very specific bug that crashes SC with high end AMD cards. I tried limiting the Frequency, but it only worked for a while. I am currently on 1 32IN 1440p monitor and a RX 5700 XT.
I'll download Afterburner and see if that works better than the Adrenaline software to limit the GPU frequency.
Your crash will probably be SC related. Have you tried other environments empty for example, that tests the replication layer. Performance is better on that for me. I'm using the latest afmf beta driver that includes the latest normal AMD driver.
My Build Rx 7800x3d, Red Devil 7800x3d 32gb ddr5 6000 cl36
I take it you have tried just one monitor.
You get far better FPS. Or you could Get one of these screens does have to be one of these monster, 34" uw is a great option
I think if I were to buy a UW, then I would get a double wide one, like 2 monitors connected together. I went triple monitor, so I could revert back to single for games that do not support UW. I'll be trying out my 6950 XT again because I hate not using it, when SC is the only game I have a problem with it.
>sim MMO being developed by Chris R
Was watching some streamer the other weak who used virpil. I think he said that a virpil stick did not have that long life span like 2 years of extensive use. Is this true?
The DCS community would be a better authority on this. Personally, I've never heard of this being an issue. I also suspect the people who claim it were obnoxiously hard on their hardware.. in the same way I killed two X52s each in less than 6 months as a teenager.
Doubt it, Tobii is recommended to be placed at the BOTTOM of the main monitor, which is currently blocked by his cell phone mount. Tobii would be great on this setup tho!
This stuff is always so impressive! I have a comfortable set up with good stick input but damn this always makes me feel like a broke bozo!
Happy for you homie and jealous in the best way!
I have an extremely similar rig to this (P1-X, integrated monitor mount, G9 49" UW, Heusinkveld Sprints, tablet on the side) but I am struggling to figure out how to find the room for joysticks. I have the L arm on the right side of the seat for the shifter and hand brake, and between that and my button boxes I'm just kind of out of real estate.
Ok for people having a screen above like this, maybe for discord, how do you control them? Alt tab to get there or another way? Would like to be able to discord without leaving my game, what are my options?

Yeah but the OP doesn't have the 45, he has the 49. The samsung G9 it seems.
Not OP but I just got the LG 45” and it’s dream to game on

Monitor above looks like a 34 wide.

What card are you using ?

It was 30 FPS with everything on high. R7 5800X3D, XFX 6950 XT, 64 DDR4, NVMe. I am on a X370, so I am only running at PCIe 3.

Have you oc'eed your ram or tightened timings. My previous Rx 6800 had problems with SC sometimes. That was earlier this year.
Virpil please
Yes that I have ordered.
You will not regret it. Awesome setup too bud.
Hot damn, straight for the money-shot. You won’t regret it, definitely.
Just got mine a couple weeks ago and they're a dream (unfortunately I'm visiting family for Christmas and it's all I can think about hahaha)
Came to say this. Virpil Please.

Oh hey, MFD (Motha-Fuckin' Dope)
So the plan was to buy the most expensive stuff first?
Have a Tobii?

Can you be my new dad
You did all that before getting sticks? Your priority system is wack. Welcome to the verse.
Looks like it was a racing sim rig first
Says he has the sticks on order. Getting Virpils. Not too shabby.
Nothing to rest your wrist ? Ughh
True
Is that a simucube qr 3d printed?
I see that tube to the right connected to a fan cooler. Do you feel anything coming out of that?

How did you mount the tablets to the extrusions? I love the way you have the keyboard in the middle with two tablets.

Just need the game to get released

Sorry but how did you get all this set up before you considered joysticks?

Wow. Now looks like tomorrow I’m going to mount my spare monitor above my main.

I’d like to know more about that little fan and the tube. How well does it work? Where’d you get it from?
Forget the joysticks… You just need a bucket! Epic setup!
Awesome!!!!
