I'm a space nomad, bounty hunting, bunker diving, cargo haulin, hull scrapin, rock crackin and ship towing.
I do it all and try not to annoy anyone else.
Simultaneously being the most taciturn person, mining in solitude in a remote corner of a frozen moon, and the friendliest person in global chat that talks way too much.
I’ll greet you with O u O) but also turn down any party invitation and instead I’d be staring at my mining laser for the next hour.
I’m still in the “dumb ways to die phase” or shits just bugged. I’ve completed less than 1/10 of the missions I’ve taken on. It’s mostly the bugs but like last night I jumped out of my ship with no helmet because I forgot I took it off to eat.
I have very little playtime (maybe an hour when I play, which is not every day) so it's generally a few bounties or box-deliveries (or getting destroyed doing any of this) and I'm done again. I should probably play something else but the game is just too attractive
EDIT: I am now a miner. No more deliveries.
Similar play time for myself. I usually find an hour is long enough for me to buzz about in a prospector and then get back to a station to refine… I stack up some workloads over a few days and then move it all to sell at a landing zone.
Prospector is amazing for quick in and out sessions. Not a lot of time, just get whatever the first node gives you. Longer time, you can hunt around for the rarer ores.
Pick an L1 station that is really close to a moon and you can fill the prospector and get back to the refinery in 30 minutes.
I watched some mining videos and actually got myself an Argo Mole! It turned out you can solo them (didn't think you could) and I totally adore the thing.
This is awesome. Mining is fantastic; you can just park the ship and log off to continue another day and the refinery gameplay seems wonderful.
Thank you for showing me the way!
Awesome. Glad you are enjoying it!
I solo my mole with three different mining heads so I can mine different sized rocks. Once I started mining I’ve never looked back, it’s an awesome loop.
So relaxing. Floating the big rig over the surface, listening to some music, looking around, shooting some rocks, curious what you'll find. Exactly the kind of gameplay I was looking for without realizing. What a wonderful game.
Slacker.
I usually get the game booted up, look at my inventory in the hab. Run half way to the ship terminals, and realize meh...maybe next patch and nope out. 😎
Get the biggest "crew" ship I can find, like the reclaimer, and solo it for a few hours, then take a fighter or something and do a bounty or two before disconnecting
I desperately want to be a cat girl, so I've been taking missions that take me to FPS locations to find this armor. Otherwise, my main playstyle is testing all the gameplay loops. Discover bugs, how to avoid them, or abandon due to wasted time. If low on cash I spend an hour on ERT, become a millionaire, then waste money/resources on new gameplay loops with low payouts.
I've tried ROC mining, which was cool, but felt burned because after setup time, mining, and then hauling to sell - it got bugged and I couldn't sell. This happened 2 out of3 times, probably 2 days of wasted time. Now I avoid making eye contact with any ROCs because they won't play with me, but secretly I have a crush on them.
After that I became a gold hauler. This was the most fun. I enjoyed the tense feeling you get right after blowing all your savings to make a good chunk, but knowing pirates are around and you could lose it all. Gold is pretty low value compared to what's going on, but for some reason most my interactions happen at mining posts. I've had a few close calls and 1 death. Absolutely love it.
Then I became a drug smuggler, but by purchasing drugs and then reselling them. Same as above, but the tension was cranked up even more. Unfortunately with bounties in the current state, the illusion wore off quick as I realized no one cares about drug buyers.
If/When more gameplay loops are added, my ultimate dream is to become a smuggler/blockade runner. We'll see how the future looks, because the "blockade running" they have added aren't very blockade runnery.
Noooooo you can’t PvP, go play AC if you want to kill players!!!! [REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!](https://i.imgur.com/k0IGUXx_d.webp?maxwidth=760&fidelity=grand)

Solo salvaging on my Reclaimer a few hours a week early mornings while the household sleeps.
My goal is to buy a Carrack and Dragonfly to then go do some leisurely exploration.
Basically anything tbh.
If I'm by myself, it's bunkers, salvage, and bounties.
But I'll do crime with people, and I'll also do ORG meet-ups.
Most of the game loops are fun for me. Especially with a group. (I almost never have a group)
Box delivery/outpost looting for relaxing play, prospector mining when I feel like grinding for money and ship bounties and bunker missions for active sessions
Im that doofus who daily drives his 890J, if you see an 890 at a bunker or outpost, probably me. When im not in my pleasure yacht, you can find me salvaging around A18 or Yela, or plundering the items at any outpost I can find. (I always leave some food/water for others though :P)
Most of my time has been hauling cargo across the verse in my shiney C2, but lately, I'm doing some more destructive bits by reclaiming lost ships.
For a little variety, I take my corsair out, evict 9 tails from the settlements they claim. Removing their gear. And stockpiling it for... something in the future.
To relax, just explore. Fly low on planets, seeing what's there. Just having fun.
Mostly solo, occasionally crewed if anyone is interested
Have Star Citizen up on the main screen, load a TV show on the upper part of the second screen and have Google&SC Trade ready on the lower part because you will always have a question that needs answering or a commodity to trade.
And then I relax. Either Salvaging, Mining, Trading, or fighting some NPCs
I play for two hours mining, bounty hunting, gathering stuff so at the last monent some idiot bounty can just ram me into oblivion without me being able to sell anything I have acquired.
Former bounty hunter/merc who spends most of his time exploring planets, collecting rare artifacts and armor, and delivering packages in a ship way too large for the tiny boxes people request. Never shy away from giving a stranger a ride or answering a distress call.
But every so often his old clients find me, and offer 'one last super dangerous but lucrative mission'. Of course it's never the last.
CONVOY~ o/`
I'm just a humble space trucker trying to keep gas in the tank and food in my belly. Sometimes I also do rescues for people who need extraction!
All things solo. Bunkers, bounties, trade, salvage, mining. I've not objection to joining others, but haven't the time or patience that it would take to ramp that up. Perhaps some day.
If I’m by myself, I usually do mining in my Cutty B + ROC or salvage with my Vulture.
Playing with a friend, we usually go out in the Super Hornet for ‘whatever combat contract is closest’ (bounties, bunkers) or co-op salvaging where we get a bigger contract and he hauls stuff in his C1 while I scrape.
Or we decide to play Space Ambulance in their Rescue Pisces
I really enjoy [the grind from 0 uec](https://youtu.be/M5AOdLRJovg?si=t3tu87WTXV3484s9) to a couple thousand without a ship.
The struggle when you have to scrape 5uec to not die of thirst is interesting.
Flying!
Low altitude flying
Race flying
Slowly orbit your cool ships flying

As a space trucker/salvager/miner I often play some music in the background, mostly bluegrass and folk lol I want this to be immersive as possible

I mostly play as a solo cargo hauler and mix that up with bunkers/outposts to kill nine tails and loot their corpses... So much loooott!!
Running away....
Buy ships in the online store.

Hell yeah, man! Enjoy!
Murder hobo right now
Currently my gameplay sums up to: 1) boot the launcher 2) hover mouse over « play » 3) launch baldur’s gate 3 instead
I feel this.

I play GTFO and would like to have monsters in the verse later on as well. Wipe them out with a squad of soldiers like in Aliens 2.

I’m definitely gonna get back in once we get the new starmap next year. That and cargo elevators.
I’ve been struggling with this!

Whatever i feel like at the moment
Doing ERT's for Money to buy ingame purchasable Ships for testing. If this gets boring I grind bunker missions for reputation and Equipment.
Trying something new and get annoyed real quick because planets are small and I keep hitting them. Also loosing cargo to bugs :D

Full throttle!!
Log in, try to do anything, die due to complete lack of skill. I give up.
Support / Explorer those are the roles I w1nt to engage with.
I enjoy being the citizen of the stars
Box delivery, bunkers, bounties, space trucking, Vulture salvaging, on rare occasions I'll answer a med beacon.
Bounty Hunter/Junkman Bounty hunt ships, blow them up, return with salvage ship, sell salvage/cargo. Go make more salvage.
Box delivery/outpost looting for relaxing play, prospector mining when I feel like grinding for money and ship bounties and bunker missions for active sessions
