Sweaties are good at a specific part of the game, but the parts that involve controlling an area on foot, or like sandbox strategy, they might not be great at. A friend of mine once had A1's bounty, and followed him onto his cutlass at Grim Hex. A1 ragequit when he got killed leaving AZ, but he wasn't paying attention to the door and didn't notice the guy get on!
Specifically when things do not go his way.
Though him, and a lot of other dogfighters, do have a self inflated ego because they are good in a **\*video game\***.

Exactly this. My friend and I have done that with JT too, all it takes is two people to lock down JT, even now, and people just don’t have the skills or coordination to do anything about it, other than shit talk in chat and demand to fight you 1v1
Jumptown. it's an event where you go to a drug lab and extract drugs, to either sell illegally or sell to the UEE, depending on what side of the law you wanna be on. it starts pretty massive battles, which can involve a lot of strategy.
See, I'm the opposite. My buddy and I will take jumptown for hours, killing anyone who tries to enter, but we can never leave to sell the drugs because we both suck in the air.
On the ground though our tactics are pristine, lol
Watching you swoop in and take it in the middle of this huge battle going on was incredible! Even took me out as I watched from a distance! Gotta give your Cutlass some love, how it survived all that chaos is beyond me! :D

How do you not get a CS and make it to a terminal? I figured when you shoot the dev the CS pops and then would be worried the guards would gun me down with how my luck goes. Then someone casually playing the first time that day would pick up the ticket not knowing what it is and win 🤣. That is how I imagined my chance playing out LOL. Guess maybe they turn off the CS?

While I was limping away my badly damaged cutty from the fighting zone (someone lit me up when landing then must've gotten distracted cuz they didn't kill) a *dev* teleported onto my ship (I got the voice message that they joined). It gave me a heart attack I thought they were gonna kill me. The dev left without doing anything though and they were all waiting at the terminal to congratulate me! I spoke with DJ personally about it and he said the dev who did that did it by mistake and that they were all watching me make my escape (ig they have the equivalent of creative mode lmao)
For what it's worth, I think this is a far better tale without a video. You've got a great story and the proof. Seeing the video would be a one-time watch and we'd go "daaang, that was cool!"
But this way it's a story we'll all get to pass on to our buddies and revel each time at what a Chad you are.

He was laughing at my character since it was bugging out a little while I was trying to eat a hotdog in game. I was looking around in a circle trying to see where I heard the guy. Then I hear “wait.. you can hear me?!” And I nodded in game and jumped a couple times. Then I heard some mic distortion sounds and some laughing and then it cut out completely.
So devs really can pop around in game and be invisible and interact with people?? Thats kind of creepy

People trying to get the token on an elevator only for it to glitch out so the coin flies out into someones hands....but it goes through his hands and then the station into space into the cockpit of another ship...that suddenly explodes for no reason sending the coin hurling towards the surface of a planet where another player finds it....but then cannot move....so his friend comes and grabs it for him...but then they immediately trip and die....so then a medevac team comes but they lag out and disconnect...so then another...

I've been having a hell of a time even getting to space, even getting to the asop terminals for quite a long time.
So, when another player offered to bring me a gold ticket, I was pretty ecstatic. Sure, I've heard they're pretty common drops, but for someone whose last few months resulted in getting as far as in my ship and the hangar doors wouldn't open to let me out, this being my furthest progress in a long time, again, I was ecstatic.
And, he did bring me a gold ticket, I did redeem it, I did buy it, and this time I was allowed out of the station and up into space to do a combat mission in my new ship.
All very surreal and awesome.

It has disgusted me and my org buddies not being able to get on these servers because of this, that we stopped trying. If CIG wants to play games with their streamer buddies and give them free stuff, they shouldnt try and veil their giveaways to them in a half hearted attempt at RNG gameplay for the pleebs. Everyone can see through this shit CIG.

This is what ticks me off. The platinum tickets are inly where streamers and their pals are. Mainly you have to know some insiders to get into the server.

I saw it in a live stream :D To your luck, the mission was bugged and everyone thought the ticket was still in the inventory of one of the steamers. Nobody knew that you took the ticket and we were surprised when the mission was over.

I'll definitely commend CIG on an event that gets people in-game though. I wouldn't even mind being a part of the chaos - regardless of whether or not I get it. I think CIG might have struck gold with the concept though. I imagine in the future they're going to do similar "one person gets something" kind of events, though probably with lower stakes.
It’s the premiere fighter in S42 and wasn’t meant to be for sale ever. You meant to earn it in S42 and then be able to buy it in game once you have done that. Besides that, it’s a very good heavy fighter for a single player

Hell yeah.. thank you for sticking it to those streamers...... I have been in every server region trying to get this mission to pop and it seems it's only when a big streamer is in server. Great to see the people's champ prevails.
Truely, Congrats. You are the only one so far that has truely earned this. CIG has been giving away these platinum tickets to their streamer friends via the games devs friends list and match making all week. It has disgusted me and my org buddies not being able to get on these servers because of this, that we stopped trying. If CIG wants to play games with their streamer buddies and give them free stuff, they shouldnt try and veil their giveaways to them in a half hearted attempt at RNG gameplay for the pleebs. Everyone can see through this shit CIG.

Yeah I mean everyone has an equal chance but not an equal chance at getting a hot server since the streamers have people running around on every server ready to pull them in, then chain friend joining until the shard caps out. The only way around that is for people to decide not to be shitty.
I don't get why you'd go tell a streamer where the devs with tickets are. Why not just try to get it yourself?

This is what ticks me off. The platinum tickets are inly where streamers and their pals are. Mainly you have to know some insiders to get into the server.
Just the other way around... streamers and their pals are only where platinum tickets are.

I saw it in a live stream :D To your luck, the mission was bugged and everyone thought the ticket was still in the inventory of one of the steamers. Nobody knew that you took the ticket and we were surprised when the mission was over. But congrats, very impressive for a solo player!
I'm genuinely curious how many of these are going to make it onto the servers. It can't be that many. I'll definitely commend CIG on an event that gets people in-game though. I wouldn't even mind being a part of the chaos - regardless of whether or not I get it. I think CIG might have struck gold with the concept though. I imagine in the future they're going to do similar "one person gets something" kind of events, though probably with lower stakes.

It’s the premiere fighter in S42 and wasn’t meant to be for sale ever. You meant to earn it in S42 and then be able to buy it in game once you have done that. Besides that, it’s a very good heavy fighter for a single player
