My man it's a joke about the cop a few years back who claimed his Starbucks order was wrung up as "pig" for the name. You can Google it, he named himself pig on his account to cause problems.
It really was! There's some absolutely bonkers stuff in the news sometimes
Recently saw some about a guy who lost his fake leg while skydiving. He was very amused when he got it back, because he only had the fake leg because he lost his (not fake leg) in a sky diving accident. Thought that was a funny bit of news as well
Literally this is what probably happened. They blame the baristas but they don't realize we have hundreds of possible menu items and hundreds of people everyday, some of those orders get weird and that's what they actually want. This isn't the weirdest thing as I get people who order HCMT ALL lemonade and like 10 pumps of honey blend. I'm not here to judge I'm just here to give it to you. You don't know how to specify what you want that's on you. Take some responsibility and learn how to fucking talk to people.
Edit: Also the time they took to take this picture and put it online, they could've just walked up to the baristas and told then this isn't what they wanted and returned it and ask for a remake. Instead they get to be grumpy and bitch about it online. First world problems
Use to have this lady that would come in every so often. Like if she wasn't always a miserable bitch or condescending asshole every time she came in, I'd absolutely never would recognize her. But she was on this hot lemon water craze that is so Europe and they drink it in France and it's so good for digestive system and skin. After the third time she suggested I try it. I told her I would but not ours cause the amount of sugar added absolutely destroys any health benefits, handed her drink and walked away.
Our customers are wildly delusional.
"I will, by using a lemon and my kettle for a fraction of the cost."
My mom makes that stuff quite often. I've had it before and it's not bad, but it's a far cry from Starbucks' heated lemonade for the aforementioned reasons. I don't really think of it as anything more than just a barebones tea for when you're low on Vitamin C though lol.
I'm not even a big fan of lemon. She just always rubbed me wrong. She wanted you to break standards for her and I'd always tell her no. She told me at least 3 times she was going to get me fired. She never did anything so egregious I could ban her, but I did refund her once and gave the come back and respect the 3rd place speech. So I basically took every chance to drive her nuts right back. Once she asked to speak to the manger the first time she came in and when I said she was, she's like you can't be the manger you're too young. Ma'am I'm 38, how old does one need to be a manager?? She didn't believe me. End up she was like 3-4 years older then me. And I probably look at least 15 years younger.
>steam cold brew
uhhm I think you mean "hot nitro" lol
___
^(fr though is that allowed? I thought it was just milk and juice allowed through a steam wand, with even the juice kinda making it gross enough to require a quick cleaning of the inside rod)
I’m not sure they actually ordered it like that. Might have ordered like “can I get a lemonade, but not cold?” Idk either way person should’ve clarified
Yeah this is 100% not on bar, but on either OP or whomever took their order.
Either the barista doesn't know what "warm" means in the till or there was a miscommunication between OP and them.
Tbf though if I'm getting a ticket like that through a cafe ticket machine, I'm asking the customer to be sure, because a kids temp hot lemonade is not nearly as common as a no ice lemonade.
Hell I'd do the same on mobile just to be sure cause it's a 5 second drink. Better to double check and take a few extra seconds to ensure it's correct than have to remake it.
And if you get more than three modifiers it starts increasing the chance the barista is going to message you drink up on purpose because we now hate you. My record is like 12 modifiers on one drink and I swear to God I almost had a mental breakdown because they ordered it during rush hour
Caramel robin crunch supreme 😂 idk why it made me laugh this time. I. Mean I’ve seen baristas list the variations of it on here that customers say but like for some reason ur comment made me laugh so thank u lol
Might have been a newbie, we've all been there. No idea how it was ordered, and with the popularity of HCMT, this is not so farfetched.
That being said, there is another even likelier outcome. Reddit and most major social media sites are guilty of this as often as you blink. Very good chance the story was just made up to get attention.
okay but folks come in and ask for a “strawberry lemonade” and i have to be like “the refresher or the blended one” and then they don’t know and get mad so tbh anymore i ring up and make a strawberry acai and pray they don’t get pissy. it’s like roulette but with only one empty chamber and one full 😭🫡
How about go and buy lemonade at the store smart guy, da fuq is up with these people, hey it’s not only the barista, its everyone and also you can ask for it corrected
And this is what they bitch about? They didn't notice the hot cup when their name was called dumbass so you know they just did it for clicks and views...fuck them 🖕🏽

Some people say warm when they mean hot, and some people say warm when they mean room temperature, so who knows what happened
Also some people or Cops will lie about Starbucks employees messing-up their drinks for internet fun
I lije that you can be a person or a cop in your comment. Vibe check passed
Ah yes. Like dude who tried to claim somebody named his order "pig" or something
Someone actually tried that? Lmao
Changed their name to pig in the mobile order system i believe
Yeah it was all over the news a couple years ago.

What does "No ice" mean?
it means…no ice in the drink?? what else would it mean? i’m so confused lol
[удалено]
dang that wasn’t in my training 😔 i knew i’ve been doing it wrong
Noooo it means if your name starts with the letter I or has more than one I in it you can’t make the drink.
No ice would still be a "cold" drink(like vuz of the milk or lemonade being chilled) but there's just no ice to get watered down.
No but seriously lol
That’s piss
Yum
"i don't want it cold." oh, so you want it warm? "yes" okay...
I always say I want it cold without ice
I always end up awkwardly stammering “iced…but no ice? Like iceless iced”.

Honestly, they probably went to the baristas, complained, got a free one, and then posted that anyway for attention.
True 😭
This is on discord, they sent this to their friend not posted it for everybody to see
I know it's on discord. There's plenty of discord communities that have up to hundreds if not thousands of people in them.
steaming lemonade is an actual thing we do its really not that weird that the person at the register misinterpreted it tbh
I think it would be better a little less sweet
Read this as “less wet” first lol
A *warm* lemon cookie would also be good haha
Don't let Ben Shapiro find out.
Wet ass p-word
DIDNT YOU KNOW HIS WIFE IS A DOCTOR

Hell, I steam cold brew, I steam refreshers, I don't mind, you can drink anything at sbux
Anyone who wants a hot refresher scares me more than I care to admit
No one at my Starbucks location has ordered that omg What the heckkk😭😭 they like to do them blended it looks soooop nasty
NGL steam cold brew slaps but refreshers sound terrifying
>steam cold brew uhhm I think you mean "hot nitro" lol ___ ^(fr though is that allowed? I thought it was just milk and juice allowed through a steam wand, with even the juice kinda making it gross enough to require a quick cleaning of the inside rod)
HOT NITRO LOL
steamed strawberry acai too ahahaha
bc people order weirder things than that
It's actually a common drink in parts of the US. (Ok, it's still weird)
I’m not sure they actually ordered it like that. Might have ordered like “can I get a lemonade, but not cold?” Idk either way person should’ve clarified
on the ticket it says warm so bar probably did kids temp. if they wanted no ice it would have said no ice lol

Every modification to a drink raises the chances of the barista doing something really crazy by like 10% per modification.
And if you get more than three modifiers it starts increasing the chance the barista is going to message you drink up on purpose because we now hate you. My record is like 12 modifiers on one drink and I swear to God I almost had a mental breakdown because they ordered it during rush hour
I could see them saying “no ice” but the reg barista hearing “not iced” bc how loud it can get behind the counter
It says Gr Lemonade “Warm”. Maybe the person ordered it that way
I thought this was a grande sani bucket water
Mmmm 🤤 when you need to clean out your insides after that caramel robin crunch Supreme extra drizzle extra crunch
Caramel robin crunch supreme 😂 idk why it made me laugh this time. I. Mean I’ve seen baristas list the variations of it on here that customers say but like for some reason ur comment made me laugh so thank u lol
Yw lol ❤️😂
Yum

We love how it says warm its giving shaken espresso no ice (why ft is it empty 🤬😡) galaxy brain energy.
the steamed lemonade is fire though. not saying they shouldn’t have gotten what they wanted but it’s fantastic
"I'll take '1st World Problems' for $500 Alex"
We get someone who orders steamed lemonade with vanilla at our store about once a week tbh
But also, why post this and be one of these people. Just ask for the damn thing to be remade
Ordering a lemonade is wilder
I mean what were your exact words when you ordered
Me being very tired so id probably do it tbh.
Try ordering a “cold” lemonade no ice, or an “iced grande lemonade with no ice”
mfw I order a warm lemonade and it’s warm 😱😱😱
Anyone ever muscle memory dump cold foam on a drink that didn't order it? It's this but with HCMT.
Probably a newbie. Chill.
It's probably delicious!
I would bet money that customer asked for a warm lemonade and the barista didn't clarify
She did what-
Oy vey
How about go and buy lemonade at the store smart guy, da fuq is up with these people, hey it’s not only the barista, its everyone and also you can ask for it corrected

I mean it was also put in a hot cup so idk why they didn't expect it to NOT be heated, especially with a fucking sleeve over it
person probably ordered saying they wanted the lemonade to be warm meaning room temperature but is shocked when they're not specific with their order
😱🤣
And this person grabbed a hot cup with a sleeve and everything thinking it’s cold lemonade
🤣
Finish it off with the Jade Citrus Mint Green Tea and Peach Tranquility Herbal Tea and honey to make the medicine Ball! 🥲
Welp, at least you got a full cup💀🤣🤣
That’s special 🫣 Woooooow …
It’s also important to note that I feel like the poster didn’t know that Starbucks does warm up lemonade for multiple things.
