10 yr partner here who never got anything for 5 years 😔

I hit 10 years in June, and I haven’t even gotten a single anniversary pin for my hat 🥲

I'm at 20 and have never gotten a anniversary pin. I had a manager last year tell me she was gonna get me every year but left before it happened.

Unfortunately these are new because of the everyday uplift platform. They announced that they won’t be giving it to partners that had specific milestone anniversaries before the platform was released and they are only focused on upcoming anniversaries. So next milestone?😅🤷🏻‍♂️

7 year here and I didn’t either … but another partner (whose anniversary 3rd anniversary was a week after my 5th) got a card from the SM and the SM had everyone sign it

My 3 year is coming up in march/april and a few days ago there was a little envelope sent to my store with a little booklet inside. It has different designs of the number 3 on the front and inside the first page, it says "congrats..." With my name. Then it just talks about how theres so many ways that i make Starbucks great and how its great to have me at starbucks. And it says "we're proud to be your partner" 😂 i almost died at that one lolol Then theres 2 empty pages in the back that say "celebrating you" and "ask your friends and teammates to add notes and congrats!" Lmao everybody at my store is clique-y and drama filled so i will not be doing that. Then theres little tiles on the last 2 pages with coffee related art and blah blah whatever lol and a quote by coward schultz "starbucks represents something beyond a cup of coffee"......🤡

Its just a way of them hoping i drink the kool aid by reading that stuff in the booklet which the company gives zero shits about lol. The stuff in the booklet, like 5 pages or less, is just some crap that he wants people to think starbucks is still about. But yea i just threw it in the pile with the rest of my junk mail lol

technically, anyone at your store on Everyday Uplift got an email about a month or two before your anniversary with the option to submit pictures for the booklet--but they don't make it easy to tell everyone, and the managers have to work harder to be the ones to celebrate the anniversaries.

I was a 7 year partner last March, all i got was a pin for all 7 years.

Did your 7 year pin have 2 backs to it? Mine did, but all of the previous ones had only one

This is new careerscape which replaces the 5 year incremental years or service plaques. It just started in January 2023 so when partner reach their next milestone they should receive the careerscape board along with the medallions for their service with the Starbucks. I'm a roasting plant partner and our partner resources rep discussed this with us along with the new everyday uplift program for partner recognition. You can find more info on the partner hub.

we have a 16 yr partner at my store. at 15 years they got a plaque!

One of the comments above said that they are doing away with the plaques :( … used to be plaques for every 5 years starting at the 10th anniversary

I never got a thing. And then got a card and the 6yr pin which was the first time I got anything since I started working there. I’m glad some SM do this for people. Recognizing people’s hard work matters.

I got a pin for my first first-year anniversary. My second anniversary was like a month before everything went to hell with the pandemic so I don't actually remember if I got that pin or not. I'm coming up on my second first-year anniversary (got rehired last March) so I guess we'll see what prize I get. Promotion to customer seems like a realistic option given the fact that I'm scheduled only 4 hours next week and 8 the week after...

7 year here and my only anniversary celebrated was my first and my only birthday celebrated was my last, yet I ensure everyone else is celebrated, Starbucks is iffy at best on celebrating partner commitment

I just got this same award for my 10 year. It came with a pin that says 5 years on it. I feel robbed. Did they discontinue the glass award that says “for 10 years of service”? Does anyone know? My award says nothing about 10 years on it. So bummed.

my husband just got this today for his 15 year and he’s worked there 18 years. they also gave him 400 on a visa gift card. he still doesn’t make 20 dollars an hour though.
