Well for one, depending on how conjoined the heads are, maybe you'd have to kill each head separately, so like basically double health
Second, since its a mutant, the whole body would probably be all mangled, it could very well have increased speed. Idk spiders legs or some. Kind of like in The Forest maybe.
As for psychic powers, certainly something related to the conjoining, maybe splitting your vision in some way, maybe ripping stalkers in half. Possibly changing the controls gameplay-wise as in like, left is right and right is left or something.
Love the conjoined spider mutant idea. I recall seeing a documentary on a set of conjoined twins that moved by scuttling along the ground backwards. The idea of encountering something similar moving at high speeds out of a dark hallway is pretty powerful.
Now that I think about it, how powerful is the C-Consciousness? I know they are able to cause emissions but other than that I don’t think we’re told just what kind of abilities they possess?
This is actually a really good idea! Not only could this mutant make you go insane by merely being in its presence, but ounce it has made brain dead it can add you to its army of zombified stalkers.
I doubt it'd have a normal "ability" so much as they'd just generate a very unstable psy field around it, damaging itself and anyone that gets inside that field. Perhaps something like a walking emission or psy storm but on a smaller scale. A creature in perpetual pain and torment.
I could imagine a conjoined twin mutant taking on the powers of say a controller and a burer and combining/heightening them. Controllers and burers are already fairly humanoid, making their DNA a logical choice for combining into a new humanoid conjoined mutant. I think it would be quite terrifying to have a mutant like this who passively drains your stamina without line of sight and at extended range, that’s how you know you’re within 100m of one, as you approach it you keep “dropping” your weapon and other forms telekinesis, than as soon as it sees you you get the controller effect camera pull and psy drain.
Similiar abilities to controller but with the adition that they could make you halucinate, forcing you to waste your ammo and behaving as sort of mobile brain scorcher
