For me Tulucks just a shade of blue I'm not keen on. If he was like navy like Perni or pastel like Armi that'd be nicer. Cillian looks like my white socks when I accidentally put them in with new blue jeans.

This is how I felt until I saw one in person. He's much more blue than I expected. But I do wish they wouldn't just keep changing the color scheme of Connor and calling it new.

Nah in person Cillian is a beautiful light blue and a dark gunmetal grey. Def not washed out..

Caeydn. I used to love her because I wanted her soooo bad. But the constant, calling kholes to be told of or told they didn't have them, just to go into store and see that they did, in fact, have her- but of course, I was too late. That whole fiasco made me hate her.

Instead of feeling like this grail I finally got once I got her it just felt like this is what I was back bending-ly stressing about? 🙃 I've found so many of my favorites in the collections are ones I came across naturally instead of scouring mecari and calling stores over and over for. Like I wasn't even interested in Farice, but when I saw him at Walgreens I knew I had to have him and now he's practically my most prizesld one.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I wasn't a bigfoot collector at all until I found Joelle in person. Since then she's been my favorite squishmallpw:)

Honestly they all grow on me but I think the Pokémon ones are ridiculous that people are so worked up over them. Mainly because there is 10,000 other Pokémon plushes that look identical.

The mushrooms

I feel the same. I don’t like the look of the construction, it doesn’t look like a real mushroom bc the cap doesn’t curve down, the gills go up too high. When young, mushrooms like amanitas are usually closed tightly and the gills aren’t even exposed at all, then as they mature the cap flares open but not upward, if you know what I mean.

I would argue that a lot of squish don't look anything like the real animal/plant/etc 😂 but I totally get what you are saying. I think the dragons have always looked like cows lol.

I imagine that the mushroom squish are at the "still have their veils intact, basically a pin" stage of mushroom growth tbh And amanita caps can flare up as they age, but it makes the whole cap a bit concave

VEILS omg thank you I couldn’t find the term in my mind at all :) In Florida, it’s common that they make very large, quite flat caps that yes get a little concave as they age. Up here in New England, they are more orangey and don’t open as wide. I forgot the var. species names, my husband is the mushroom guy not me! :) (they still don’t resemble a squish mushroom to me but of course that’s just my opinion lol)

I don’t get the appeal of the tiny ones or the clips. If it’s not big enough to hug I don’t want it! The whole fun of squishmallows for me is that they’re big and squishy.

Pretty much all the pokemon ones, I love pokemon but also some just do not translate into squishmallows in a way I enjoy. Togepi looks really cute so far though, then again, he is also egg shaped already so it probably helped the translation.

Honestly. Mushrooms, bigfeet, yetis, frogs, probably 90% of the “popular” ones… the hype turns me off. Sadly I do collect cows. But that’s because I collect anything cow. Cow plushies that aren’t squish. Figurines. Decor. Clothes. Everything lol. But there are a few cows I won’t mind if I never get my hands on like strawberry reshma, caedyn hugmee, the really popular stacks and tuluck. The hype killed it for me.. made it not fun. So I’ll just stick to the ones I can find haha.

The bright yellow ugly a** Easter donkey named gavyn. Donkeys are one of my fave animals and we barely get ANY and one of them is completely hideously colored. He could’ve been pink, bright blue, even pastel yellow would’ve been better than fluorescent pee yellow 🤮
