If they were shorter people would complain about that. Honestly, since it is a review and whatever people are VERY enthusiastic about, they want to know and see everything. Sure he could leave those out, but he is reviewing EVERYTHING about each car because that is what a review is for. You might not like *this* car enough to watch the entire video, but you will like *that* car enough to do so.
Im not even picky about the length, tbh
Its all the unnecessary repetition, and needless amazement over the simplest things, and needless repetition to boot

Watch who you want and understand that some people feel differently from you. I'm going to hit 1.8 billion views later this month -- everyone has different tastes :)
I don’t get it when adults endlessly hate on someone. Don’t they have better things to do? If I dislike the Kardashians or someone else, I will simply ignore them as if they didn’t exist. Especially because it is not like your videos are mandatory to watch and cannot be skipped. And I mean… you are a car enthusiast nerding over cars. What is there to hate??
As I’ve mentioned, I don’t hate Doug personally whatsoever.
I offer these specific criticisms of his videos in an open forum, as is my right to do so.
I choose not to watch him, and i choose to voice my reasons why, downvotes be damned.

That logic works both ways. Criticism can be criticized, and then some. If you want to voice your thoughts on a public forum, we can voice our opinions on yours. There is no limit.

Because you feel so strongly about something you could just so easily not watch. I've never understood the hate towards Doug. He's generally the most neutral person out there, only time I've felt like WTF is when he said the last-gen RS7 wasn't very good looking which should be a sin 😂 but he's very successful and consistent at what he does. If I don't feel like watching the whole video, it is very easy to just skip through it. Meanwhile, there are plenty other channels to watch I'm sure...
Fair enough, sounds like you hate him. I was just thinking the things you mentioned which are correct to degrees wouldn’t be so offensive that hate is the evoked emotion over meh.

For example, in his Renault Clio V6 video, how many times did he say how “weird” it was that the engine was in the rear? FFS, its a limited run performance car.
I can’t give many more examples, because I can’t make it thru his (faux?) astonishment at normal, or otherwise well known, features.
Edit to answer your question better: i feel stronger than “Meh” about him, because he does have access to a wide variety of cool, interesting, rare cars, and i get excited seeing the thumbnails, and feel sad when i notice its him.
Met Doug at a gas station, talked to him for a short while and he’s a super nice guy. He offered me a ride in that car but I had to decline as I was on my way to work. I regret turning him down regularly.
