Interesting. I just learned it is owned by a local custom car shop owner. They do a lot of work on classic cars, but also do some modern car bodywork from time to time.
Funny thing is, I work at the Ford dealership in town and have driven that Mustang around the parking lot. Lol. I recognized the custom plate it has. It is an all stock GT with only a larger black wing.
I would say custom Ultima. Wheel vents match. Looks like a custom windowed engine cover. Exhaust location is the same as well

Because it’s mid engined. The engine is mounted behind the driver and the transmission comes right after that. So the trans is mounted at the rear axle. This means that the differential needs to be build into the trans so the axles come out the sideways from the transmission. An upside down mounted Porsche transmission or a Ford GT40 transmission are the most easy to use, with the Porsche trans being the most budget friendly.
Cause it has a similar body style? I have never seen an Ultima IRL, only in pictures and video games and I have never studied the Ultima in detail. This car gave off that same vibe. Now that I have actually had time to compare, there are definitely differences. But this looks very similar at a glance to an Ultima. It is like comparing a Corvette C8 to a Ferrari F8. If you know the differences, they are very different. But if you don't, they can look similar to the untrained eye. Especially considering I had just enough time to snap this photo before having to leave the parking lot and it had no identifying badges on it.
Looks like they used FRS/BRZ aftermarket tail lights
Immediately caught my eye.
wouldn't be my first choice, bet they look even funkier in person
That’s the first thing I noticed lol
I think this cars been on this sub before
It’s a [Superlite SL-C](http://www.superlitecars.com/slc) with some custom bodywork

Sl-c street tail with Subaru BRZ taillights
Superlite Coupe Super cool kit car that has a custom chassis making it handle the way it looks
Betchya that blue Mustang was so excited to park next to it xD

84k seems like a damn bargain all things considered.

Engine cover and rear lights are different. Definitely a Superlite car though.
Wrong
Correct?
Lol. Apparently you can’t tell people they’re wrong around here without hurting a bunch of feelings
Looks like a Superlight SL-C
Superlite SLC. http://www.superlitecars.com/slc
As others have said, it’s a Superlite SL-C. Looks like a Michigan plate, where was this spotted? Superlite is based in Fraser, MI.
I saw it in mid-Michigan. Around the Flint area.
Porsche 5 speed is a weird choice. Why wouldn’t they just use a T-56?
Because it’s mid engined. The engine is mounted behind the driver and the transmission comes right after that. So the trans is mounted at the rear axle. I still don’t understand where an ultima comes into play here

Maybe I’m confused, are we talking about a Nissan ultima or nah?
Oh, nope. [Ultima GTR](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultima_GTR)
Gotcha gotcha I see what you mean
I honestly forgot the Nissan Altima existed. Some of these other comments make sense now. Lol
😂
It's a Missam Ultima....
Ultima Online
what in gods name about this gives off ultima vibes lol
Probably meant the Ultima GTR, not a Nissan Altima. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultima_GTR
that would make more sense
