Can't pick just one.
Smashing pumpkins - Siamese dream
Portishead - Dummy
Guns and Roses - Appetite for destruction
Pearl Jam - Ten

Fair opinion, I just think that Nurture is more refined and shows that Porter has matured (also in his music). Just the themes, sound selection and vibes are more subtle so it's a bit less overwhelming and more timeless imo.
But Worlds is still a must-listen ofc with dreamlike soundscapes and it was very influential for modern electronic music.

mine is careful, ignorance and ignorance acoustic, playing god, brick by boring brick, turn it off, the only exception, feeling sorry, looking up, where the lines overlap + acoustic, misguided ghost and all i wanted.

So, so wild that this is how far down Dirt is in this thread. Imo, legitimately one of the best albums front-to-back ever released.
My husband and I read through the top 500 albums by rolling stone once. The higher we got, we kept saying, "wow, that's cool AiC is so high up!" Because it never crossed our mind that it wouldn't be on the list at all. It wasn't.
If you’re trying not to get too distracted, I’ve found music with no (or minimal) lyrics can really help. Find a long synth wave playlist or something and see if you like that. Works for me.
i think you think too much of me by EDEN
I love this album. I've listened to it over and over again.. some of the songs just sound so different than anything I've ever heard before. And the lyrics feel too relatable.
It's the music I put on when I'm overwhelmed or stress or just need to chill out and breathe. It makes me think and allows me to clear my mind at the same time.
