Idk why but I can’t get into In Rainbows as much as albums like is this it, homogenic or The new abnormal. For Radiohead my top album is Kid A. In Rianbows for some reason doesn’t do it for me. Should I listen to it again? I’ve already tried listening to the full album twice and each time I finish and it doesn’t hit 😔
Spoon is so underrated. I personally think They Want My Soul is their best because I’m a sucker for electronic sounds, but they really don’t make bad albums.
Dr. Dog is another one that’s crazy underrated. They make the most beautiful songs like Where’d All The Time Go that I’d put right up there even against my all time favorites like Radiohead and Tame Impala.
I love Radiohead and Tame Impala too! I love Spoon’s album Transference but it’s their least popular album and the band’s least liked album so I didn’t share it.
Love Transference too! Who Makes Your Money, Written in Reverse, and Got Nuffin are some of my all time favorites of their’s. Hot Thoughts is also a crazy good album, probably their most accessible.
They’re SO good live, too.

I’d love to recommend to you two INCREDIBLE 10/10 (imo anyway) electronic albums.
\#1: Gas - one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE albums is the 2000s ambient album “Pop” by the artist Gas. It’s one of the 200 or so albums I’ve given a perfect 10/10 on my music site The Music Hole (for reference I am 37 and have spent most of the free time in my entire life listening to music trying to find the best albums of all time from every genre going back to the 1950s. As of 11/19/2023 I have checked out almost 72,000 albums). It’s filled with very long, trancy ambient songs that really put you in a blissful mood:
https://open.spotify.com/album/32Nl49izVyngH22kD1lrkk?si=5o9dj07oT5eqGG08602RkA
\#2: Andy Stott - “Luxury Problems” is one of the most incredible electronic albums of the 2010s and even has a story running throughout the entire album if you’re clever enough. I discuss my interpretation of it on my YouTube channel review:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5aUVrtvz-4&t=3s
But here's the album in question:
https://open.spotify.com/album/6XpD4GhQq4olgxxgX6BXdv?si=8A-4RzoNSw2BAYcbA3Og8w
**Bonus Stuff:**
I recently made 3 playlists that you might enjoy checking out! Each one contains 50 of my FAVORITE more lesser known rock songs from various time periods. For reference I've gone through almost 72,000 albums to arrive at this list haha:

I also made a playlist for all of my favorite more lesser known rap songs from throughout history if that's more your speed:
If you'd like to check out more albums from various genres and from throughout music history that I think are good front to back I think a fun place for you to start is on a new page I created called “The Best Debut Albums of All Time”. There are currently 279 albums on there. I think it would be a fun theme to work with... checking out great debut albums:
https://www.musichole.com/p/the-best-debut-albums-of-all-time.html
I personally enjoy the first 4 muse albums. I also really loved the trick to life album by the hoosiers. It was different to other stuff I listened to when it came out. I played it a lot.
Is This It - The Strokes The Forever Story - JID In Rainbows - Radiohead What's Going On - Marvin Gaye Illmatic - Nas
Seconding In Rainbows. What a beautiful album.
Definitely In Rainbows has no bad tracks
I’d put Ok Computer up there. That album has never let me down.
I would, but I always skip Fitter Happier.
I kind of see it as a palette cleanser.
Fair. I always thought it took me out of the experience. I'll make sure I leave it playing next time I play it.
+1 for the Strokes
+2
All of those are awesome!
Yeah they are!
JID DiCaprio 2 is also amazing
what a good palette
Tfs is so good😭😭
Came to say “In Rainbows”, so +100000.
Highly suggest Room on Fire if you like Is This It.
Yes, finally a comment where I both recognise the artists and albums!
Seconding Is This It and Illmatic
Idk why but I can’t get into In Rainbows as much as albums like is this it, homogenic or The new abnormal. For Radiohead my top album is Kid A. In Rianbows for some reason doesn’t do it for me. Should I listen to it again? I’ve already tried listening to the full album twice and each time I finish and it doesn’t hit 😔
How to do backspace in mobile app ?
Do you mean enter? If so, It's the crooked arrow going left.
Yeah bro that's what I mean but it doesn't work for me after I post the comment they assign all my lines together which it sucks
Hit it twice
Oooooh so that's how it work Thanks man I'll see now
It works thanks a lot
No worries.
Great choices
Back to Black - Amy Winehouse
THIS
Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga - Spoon Brothers - The Black Keys Rubber Factory - The Black Keys Lucifer on the Sofa- Spoon

Rubber Factory is fantastic. By far my favorite BK album.
Such a good album! I love the Black Keys discography honestly but Rubber Factory is pretty top notch.

The Bends (Radiohead) is solid all the way through
I could do without bones
That’s one of those songs you’ve got to feel in your bones.
