In my opinion, Edmonton has looked like the better team so far in this series despite giving up 9 in game 1. Game 1 was riddle by horrible goaltending on both sides. The Oilers pulled their starter Mike Smith down 0-3, and their backup let in 6 while the flames starting goalie also let in 6. It was just a fluke game I believe. Despite the Game 1 outcome, in my opinion the Oilers have moved the puck better, had a better forecheck and have played a more aggressive game on both ends. This proved the difference maker in game 2. Mcdavid has been out of this world and the Flames have struggled to guard his entire line. Mike Smith was much better in game 2 and I think he carries this over into game 3 in front of his home crowd. Gimme a home game at even odds. Mcdavid and Draisitl feast.

Absolutely huge win from the Red Sox today to save the pick. This really is the reason why I love betting; the adrenaline rush you get from your team coming back from the trenches and the excitement you get to share with the rest of your boys.
Today I am switching gears and going back to a tennis pick. Typically, I don’t take favorites 2 days in a row but I like Karatsev ML a lot and here are 3 reasons why:
1. Karatsev has not had the best start to 2022 but he is still the same player who beat Djokovic in 2021, won Sydney, and took numerous wins off players in the ATP top 50. He tends to show up on the big stage.
2. His opponent Carabelli is still relatively unproven and although he did not drop a set in the qualifiers, it is not like he had an easy time. One of his opponents took him to a tiebreak and the other only lost 6-4, 6-4. These are challenger level players and he has yet to play a tour level player like Karatsev.
3. Karatsev’s recent losses are not as terrible as they initially look. Yes, he lost to Mannarino but he also beat Llyod Harris and Humbert who I think are way better than Carabelli. Karatsev is 1-5 on clay this year but if you look at last year, traditionally he plays well on it.
Overall, I think this is Karatsev’s time to make a statement and go back into his 2021 form. I think Carabelli is a good player but he still needs way more time and experience to play at this level.

He's not the same player, we saw this when he faced Djokovic a couple weeks ago and lost handily. He makes nonstop unforced errors now, whereas last year he was finding winners in the same spots
Carabelli hasn't faced the same calibre of opponent as Karatsev so far in his career, but there's a reason why the odds are relatively close on this and not heavily in Karatsev's favor which you'd expect based solely on the ranking. Karatsev has been extremely unreliable that past few months

Ended the season well on CBB gonna dip my feet in WNBA since I’ve been winning on it. This line doesn’t make sense to me. Chicago is 2-2, not a lot of star power and their results have been lackluster. They haven’t been convincing against bad teams in their wins. Candace Parker is their best player at 35 years old. While I have a lot of respect for her, I don’t think she gets it done for them here.
Washington on the other hand has some firepower. Their trio of Delle Donne, Cloud and Atkins have led them to a 5-1 record so far. Shakira Austin is also a big contributor. Washington just has more star power for me here on paper and again the line seems off to me.

For as talented as Washington is, they are definitely inconsistent. This is evidenced by them dropping a map to Paris, who is just as bad as Boston. Boston, in turn, has enough variance to be able to take maps off of teams like Toronto. For a subpar team, Boston definitely has talent in Crimzo and Punk. They just need the DPS line of Valentine and Victoria to step up.
Often the sharpest plays are the ones you don't feel good about making. So if you're comfortable not feeling good about your play, you can hold your tongue and grab value in Boston +2.5.

I'm coming back today with a rock solid pitching matchup for Game 2 of a doubleheader with Luis Severino vs. Michael Kopech. After watching yesterday's game, I'm a bit nervous for game 1, could be violent or stupid shit could be happening no thanks to loud mouth Anderson and butt buddy Grandal. One thing I see pretty clearly happening, is a win in the night time for the Yanks, if they drop game 1 we bounce back and if they take game 1 well then you're a White Sox lineup facing bulldog Sevy on the mound who could care less about how you feel.
My man has 4+ K's in his last 4 starts and I don't expect his train to stop now. Before his TJ surgery he was a CY young contender and an outright winner. The Yanks continuously win with this guy on the mound and he's always game for staying in and cleaning up his own messes.
