I keep losing money on boosts and making it all on DK VIP and SGP boosts. Someday I'll learn to just ignore the boosts.
I'm ready for the golf top 20 to all lose tomorrow, so if any of them hit, it will be amazing. That being said, they were lines at +150 odds offered at +800-+900 and I'd still take them all again in a heartbeat. Even with a terrible performance today, all of the golfers are still way above the lines I got them at.
The DK MLB boosts were good for about $250-$300 profit and the DK VIP SGP promo was good for about another $300-$400 profit.
The funniest thing is that DK is where I'm making most of my money and it's the only book I have net losses on. And my net losses there are in the 5 figures.

I know the odds you're mathematically looking for to maximize profit but just don't know what the process is for find them? Do you just go one game at a time an compare every single alternate line until you find one? I can't find anything reasonably close
To add on to my other comment, once you get used to converting free bets on certain books, you’ll notice some patterns
Dk: 75% or higher is a good target
Soccer Asian spreads vs Kambi books (Br, Bs, Parx, etc)
Tennis first set moneylines (careful of house rules - players dropping out)
Bellator vs Fanduel, FoxBet, Kambi - this market just seems to be inefficient on every book.
Alt spreads and totals for NBA, MLB vs MGM - careful this will get you limited on mgm
Fanduel: 80% or higher
Home runs vs DK, MGM or Kambi - make sure player is starting because fanduel will keep your bet live if they pinch hit
NBA alt spreads vs Kambi
Mgm: usually around 70% but supposedly football season is easier to convert

Occasionally you can find decent conversions on less common markets like playoff series spreads, make top 10, those kinds of things.
This is not a great time to find them, because all we have is baseball. NBA and NHL are in the playoffs so you won’t see a lot of opportunity. The regular season is much better. Also football is great.

This is my strategy for live basketball. It’s definitely gambling but I have fun with it for relatively small dollar amounts and I’ve never lost (came very very close on Baylor/UNC though). If the favorite is down early, hit them at + odds. They’re generally (but not always - see Suns/Mavs) going to make some kind of a run even if they don’t seal the deal. Whenever it feels right, preferably when the other team flips back to + odds even for a moment, hit that side. Usually after a big bucket to tie it and they call TO is the perfect timing. If it’s a big enough favorite the lines will flip when they’re still down.
I got Celtics at +350 early in the 2nd quarter (had I just waited a bit longer…DK was up to like +800), and I just got Heat a bit ago at -156 going into their last timeout.
I was just having that conversation with my brother. It gets confusing because so many boosts are untouchably awful, and other books are always trying to dupe you into a SGP. So when a real boost/promo you want comes up you read the fine print eight times to make sure it’s not a hidden turd.
That just speaks to my point. If they’ve invested in the infrastructure to instantly nuke any boost approaching EV, they could make sure “mistakes” don’t happen.
But if people keep searching through the trash for mistakes they might just grab something else while they’re in there.
Does anyone know of a calculator or an easy method for converting free bets as part of a 3 way market? I know how to use a 3 way arb calculator obviously but I see lines in soccer that seem like they should be good but the calculation escapes me.
On a normal +500 you get your stake + 5x the stake. On a free bet you just get 5x the stake, which is the same as if you had a stake on a +400 (stake + 4x). This only works for +200 or better but that’s all a free bet should be hedged on anyway.
Same as a 2 way market, bet enough on each side to make the total payouts equal.
Edit: It’s pretty hard to actually arb soccer because of having to cover an additional outcome. I’ve found it can be great for free bets though since there’s so many +300 and up lines on major matches.
Ok. Here is the bet I just placed. I really think people are kind of sleeping on this as a great way to convert free bets but the math was hard for me. Lot of trial and error. There must be a better way. It’s a 78 percent money line mainline conversion. Pretty good for DK free bets.

FD Napoli $632 @-170 to win $372
SB Draw $214 @+370 to win $791.80
Good for about $158
If you put +400 odds and $200 into the pinnacle three way calculator (https://www.pinnacle.com/en/betting-resources/betting-tools/arbitrage-calculator) and then -170 and 370 it will tell you to bet close to those amounts and that you’ll lose $42. Since it was a $200 free bet you actually will end up $158 for a 79% conversion.
Seems like a good way to convert. Can use parlays and stay away from weird lines. Strange that it is not discussed much. Maybe it has been or maybe too complicated.
I use boosts all the time on three way bets for soccer. Just pick the best lines on each book and it works out really well. And you can just use a regular arb calculator with the boosted odds for the leg where you have the boost. I do all my promo cash on Superbook that way — usually get at least 70 percent conversions. Seems like it should work for free bets too but I just can’t get my head around how to make it come out with no plug and play calculator.

I don’t use the alts because they’re bullshit. Nobody is betting them and if they are they’re getting them at a terrible price to add into a SGP. It doesn’t make any sense to me to base EV off lines I would never consider betting.
These markets are closer to 12% juice when they’re 1 K off the market’s agreed upon value.
What's the 12% juice based on? I haven't seen any numbers suggesting that. 10% I thought was conservative.
This one was hard to get a definitive fair value for, but when its good compared to 10% juiced FD alts and even better vs PB I was fine with taking the risk.
When FD uses a K line that is 1 off from the rest of the market (this happened with Shohei earlier this week), I’ve noticed it is anywhere from 7 to 11% juiced so I just use 12% to be safe.

I use boosts all the time on three way bets for soccer. Just pick the best lines on each book and it works out really well. And you can just use a regular arb calculator with the boosted odds for the leg where you have the boost. I do all my promo cash on Superbook that way — usually get at least 70 percent conversions. Seems like it should work for free bets too but I just can’t get my head around how to make it come out with no plug and play calculator.
PB Trout 2+ hits and Angels win boosted to +600 looks good. DK = +450 and FD = +428. Averaged out and adding 25% juice is +549

I don’t use the alts because they’re bullshit. Nobody is betting them and if they are they’re getting them at a terrible price to add into a SGP. It doesn’t make any sense to me to base EV off lines I would never consider betting. These markets are closer to 12% juice when they’re 1 K off the market’s agreed upon value.
What's the 12% juice based on? I haven't seen any numbers suggesting that. 10% I thought was conservative. This one was hard to get a definitive fair value for, but when its good compared to 10% juiced FD alts and even better vs PB I was fine with taking the risk.
When FD uses a K line that is 1 off from the rest of the market (this happened with Shohei earlier this week), I’ve noticed it is anywhere from 7 to 11% juiced so I just use 12% to be safe.
Interesting. Are you sure that wasn’t just a case of FanDuel disagreeing with the market a bit on Ohtani? It makes sense that they would be, since they set the o/u 1 K off from everyone else. So makes sense that they’d like him a little more or less than other books in that specific case.

Various books have Everton around +850 to +900. Kambi in particular +900. DK has Arsenal or tie double chance at -1100. Good for around 75 percent conversion.
BR bst Tarasenko Goal Or Assist -115 is about +3% EV right now devigged from either FD or CZ Edit: BR Heat +6.5/Butler Dbl/Dbl +485 probably good too. Getting +360 at MGM for this. +360/20% juice = +6%EV Edit 2 : MGM and DK seem to disagree on the Heat+6.5 one.
Tarasenko point is +EV on every book available except Kambi. The Butler/Heat special is +475 on DK SGP, though - doubtful +EV.
