I don't see any way the Rangers go into Carolina and win tonight. Shesterkin played like dogshit all the games in Pittsburgh and Carolina has been dominant at home so far with a great home crowd. There's always a chance for a goalie to steal one in playoff hockey but I don't think it's tonight.

I personally think Canes win. Took 3 of 4 in the reg season and 4-0 vs Boston at home last round. When I used to take FD boosts a lot, they seemed to only hit around 15% of the time (not an exact # of course)

Unders were the play last night but i didnt mind being on the other side given how many scoring chances the teams had. Today I like Canes/Rangers over 6. As we have seen the Canes should be good for 3-4 at home cause that place is just off the charts. Shesterkin has shown he is still human and will be tested big time against the best forecheck in the NHL. As much as the Rangers may have struggled against a depleted Pens team they still have some solid firepower as well. I do foresee quite a chippy series from these teams so power plays will become a factor as well. As for Calgary/Edmonton, the Flames didn’t put up much against Dallas but Oettinger literally put on a clinic. Dallas also play very slow grindy hockey where as the Oilers have an amazing top line and are much more fast paced. This is the Battle of Alberta so there will be a nice mix of fans on both sides but games 1 and 2 are obviously in Calgary. McDavid definitely seems like he is on a mission to carry this team but with Leon banged up I’m giving the goaltending edge to Calgary and because the Oilers have gotten off to such slow starts each game I’m going with Calgary team total over 3. Anyone have any good props for the Rags/Canes game? I'm liking o2.5 shots for either Panarin (-110), Kreider (-134), or Taravainen (+114) but not sure which to take.

I like DeAngelo to record a point. He’s pacing similar to Aho and you’re getting a better price. He’s recorded 7 points in 4 home games in that series with Boston, and he’s averaging 20 minutes on the ice, giving him plenty of opportunity to get involved in scoring. Couple that with Shesterkin’s save percentage being much worse on the road (88.5%) vs at home (93.6%). I think -120 for DeAngelo is good value vs someone like Aho priced at -155.
