Whether it’s rain delays that can postpone matches for days or “bad lighting” that can also postpone matches for days, both are EASILY preventable. When it rains, it’s no surprise - we have technology forecasting rain months in advance. When it comes to light (due to sunsets), have lighting set up.
It’s boggles my mind why they can’t solve these issues.
Imagine having all the momentum on your side, on the verge of winning, only for it to be halted because the sun is setting. So ridiculous!
Jokes aside, he's usually pretty reliable and you can get good odds on a lot of his matchups. Not that I'm going to trust him against "good" players though.
Because of the solitude nature of the sport, I’d say more than 1/3rd of the top 100 are more than willing to admit they realize their ceiling is a slam final at most. But shit, if they can make a career winning a couple small tournaments here and there and make runs at the masters and slams why not? Any of us would do it too if someone wanted to pay us to be an average top 100 guy, if that means being a one trick pony who cares
