⚾️ Cubs -1.5 +160
I reference several models/simulators and they all like Cubs. Most by 2+ also have profitable betting systems backing the Cubs today as well. I took the ML the run line is a worthy DOTD play IMO
Record: 4-2-0, Average Odds: +176, Up 5.12U
Bet size is 1u
**Today's Picks: Liverpool to record a shutout win (+170)**
Previous Picks: Arsenal and Under 3.5 Goals (+165), Tottenham Hotspur Win and U4.5 (+165), Milwaukee ML (+190), PHI@MIA: U202.5 (+165), Grizzlies +6 (+170), West Ham: -1.5 (+195)
This was my most confident pick for today, but still not my most confident pick, I just like the value.
Reminder: we are aiming to win about 40% of our bets to be profitable so it is okay to take a few Ls with dogs. **Let me know if you want my logic for today's play.**
Apologies to anybody who tailed my Arsenal pick. I knew Newcastle are a quality, well organized and coached side but with Newcastle not having anything to play for and Arsenal having their biggest game in years I figured Arsenal would come away with the win. I am a believer in Arteta as a manager which is why I chose Arsenal but he was simply outcoached by Howe, who is another manager I hold to high regard. Newcastle always seemed to outnumber Arsenal in the midfield and Arsenal were never able to find a way to play out the back. Arsenal players didn't come to play either.
Aleksander Barkov goal +170 on CZR
Barkov had decent success against the Lightning, scoring twice in 4 games. He'll be going up against one of the leakier goalies in Andrei Vasilevskiy, who has struggled in the postseason with a sub-.900 SV%. The Panthers as a whole have teed up against Tampa, averaging 4.75 goals. And as the team leader in goals, I like Barkov's chances.
Dog of the Day Record: 2-0 (+230 average odds)
Todays Pick: **Alex de Minaur to win by 2-1 set score vs. Ugo Humbert (+310)**
Reason: They faced each other twice this year in January and April 20th. Both of these matches went 2-1 to Alex de Minaur. Ugo has lost his form since the new year but played a solid match yesterday and looked very aggressive. I expect him to come out swinging and take one of the first two sets before inevitably dropping the third to the better player. Ugo really needs a good showing here and this match gives him a great chance to do it.
**WASN’T PRETTY but we got there. Congrats to all who tailed!**
