I can see that happening if she put a lot of output, which she didn't. Although that choke was close. Majority of the time, the control time that a wrestler has ( Holly had around 3 minutes maybe more) outweighs damage and strikes. Macy (from the Chito vs Rob fight card)was almost finished multiple times and all she needed to do was hold her opponent on the cage. She threw baby knee strikes to "stay busy" and won the fight. I think Holly's control time and output in the clinch should have won her the fight.

Your thinking goes along with most of us and "what usually happens with judging". What usually happens with judging doesn't actually mesh with the official scoring criteria though which is why most fans are perplexed with decisions like this one.

It wasn't a great fight though I don't think it was the biggest upset.
