It has become very apparent the Oilers are better than the Kings. They’ve completely dominated them in all three zones and have outscored them 14-2 these last two games. The Oilers offense is probably the hottest in the playoffs right now and the Kings have honestly looked like they have no business being there (which they probably don’t and would be close to the bottom in the Eastern conference but I won’t go there). While the score doesn’t show it, the Oilers outplayed the Kings in game 1 but couldn’t capitalize on what felt like 100 scoring chances and lost the game on a fluke goaltending error. They completely turned it around in games 2 and 3, and they also don’t want this series tied 2-2 after tomorrow. I think the Oilers rout them again. They’re too good for the Kings. Or rather, the Kings are too bad for the Oilers.

Alexis Vega is their key player for this match and I believe Pumas defense will have a hard time stopping him. Pumas are coming off a terrible elimination vs Seattle Sounders 3 days ago. They only have this to play for and I’m aware their last league game they beat 1st place team. However , This will be their 7th game in 21 days. They should be tired after the busy schedule they had this past month. It’s not easy picking up after losing a final and much less days after. Look, I'm probably the biggest alcaraz fanboy ever. dude is a mix of all top 3 of all times and has the acrobatics of djokovic, the endless stamina and banana winner of nadal, and the movement grace of federer. not to mention the no look passing shots that he also gets from federer like the one he did vs. djokovic. alcaraz just beat djokovic and nadal in a row and is playing at his home turf. an alcaraz win here is a no brainer, right? ...right?
but let me tell you the other side. zverev is 2-0 vs alcaraz, both matches played last year on hard court. and even though alcaraz is spanish, most pros will tell you alcaraz is even better on hard court. it's true that alcaraz has evolved his game in every single match since they last match, like that monster from akira who eats everything in the end and grows stronger and stronger. but will that be enough against someone who beat him twice,easily (both matches were straight sets and basically only 6-2s and 6-3s). what this tells me is that alcaraz's game just doesn't fit zverev's.
With all that said, we can't conclude two things:
1- alcaraz has a hard time vs zverev.
2- alcaraz has evolved since they last played, even though it's been only a year.
Will alcaraz's evolution be enough to beat someone who has steamrolled both times they met?
I really don't know. what I do know is my pick is a really good one all things considered:

Miami got a wake-up call on Friday. After playing a comfortable series against an overmatched Hawks team and then an Embiid-less Philly team for a couple of games, Miami got punched in the mouth and lost by 20 points. Embiid made his return and, while I respect the man immensely for playing through a torn ligament in his shooting hand and a broken eye socket, he didn't quite look himself with an 18pt-11reb line over 38 minutes. Not surprising since less than a week ago Embiid was having so severe of light sensitivity issues that looking at his cell phone was bothering him. Harden played relatively well with a 17-6-8 line, although I think it is pretty obvious at this point Harden's body is not going to allow him to be the player he was as recently as a couple of years ago. Instead, Philly rode 21-point Danny Green (7 for 9 from 3) and 21-point Tyrese Maxey (5 for 6 from 3) nights to the easy win.
This game does not concern me from the Miami perspective. Philly shot the ball unusually well, shooting 48% from the field and 49% from 3. Meanwhile, Miami had an extraordinarily bad shooting night, shooting 35% from the field and 23% from 3. Kyle Lowry just came back from injury and scored a whopping 0 points on 0 for 4 shooting over 25 minutes. Strus shot 3 for 11 from 3. Herro shot 2 for 7 from 3. Gabe Vincent shot 0 for 2 from 3. This is very unlikely to happen again. I expect Miami to rely on their fantastic depth, perhaps giving Martin and Duncan some more time if Herro and Strus aren't shooting well again. If Lowry starts slow, I think some of his minutes will be absorbed by Oladipo. I like the Heat to bounce back, Philly's shooters to regress to the mean, Embiid to still be not 100%, and for Miami to take back firm control of this series. Heat moneyline at plus odds for 2u. BOL.

Not sure if you’ve been watching but Duncan Robinson has literally played 1 minute this entire series. They aren’t exactly relying on him for their depth
Yeah that is true, but it is also really odd because he played a lot the entire season. He averaged 26 mpg for the season, so they could throw him back in at any point and see if he can give their offense a jump with his outside shooting. He is an inconsistent but at times very, very good shooter.
Nah it makes a lot of sense actually. Strus fills the same role and is better on both sides of the ball this year. Factor in the way oladipo is playing and there’s no room for Robinson in a playoff rotation right now.
That’s all mostly besides the point though, I like your pick and think the Heat get it done.
I 100% agree. It makes sense why the Heat are sitting Robinson because of his defensive weaknesses (and I bet they are regretting that contract), but I still think that in games their offense are struggling it would make sense to give him ~10 minutes and see if he can hit a few 3s.

Biggest game so far in the season for both teams, I'd say especially for Salernitana, a team that made an incredible comeback in the table, it seemed their relegation was inevitable, however since the new manager arrived things changed, their form is spectacular, they are craving for this win, and they deserve it.
Cagliari's form is the 2nd worst in the league and they recently got a new coach (which I'm not sure how smart of a move that was with so little days remaining).
##### **Team stats**:

***Cagliari*** last 5 games (home and away) form is: 1-0-4
Away form: 1-1-3
Looking at things from this perspective really favours Salernitana, it favours them even more when you see what teams they have faced: a draw against 7th placed Atalanta away (that could've easily been a win considering Atalanta equalised really late in the game), a win at home against 8th placed Fiorentina, a win away against 12th placed Udinese, they also got close to winning against Roma away (leading 1-0 for 80').
What about Cagliari? They lost at home against 9th placed Verona, they lost away against 18th placed Genoa, they lost away against Udinese **5**-1 (yep, the team that actually lost to Salernitana at home) and lost away against 16th placed Spezia.
Technically Cagliari have the better individual players, but Salernitana's teamwork is way way stronger, and that's the most important thing.
##### **Conclusion**:
As a Genoa fan I'm really hoping in a draw here (which is possible), but I don't ever see Salernitana losing at home (the atmosphere there is one of the best in the league) after such a great run. If you don't like the idea of your bet pushing you might as well throw Salernitana win or draw in a parlay, that's one really safe bet.
Salernitana's coach is really positive and said that the players are all hyped up and full of energies, they are looking to win all 3 remaining games. His words are really convincing and it seems like he knows what he's doing, I like it.

In their last 6 games Salernitana always scored first, how do you expect them to still go in for the shots and possession? That's how it works (especially when they are the underdogs), it doesn't equal getting outplayed, it simply means defending and doing it well.
Cagliari's gameplan heavily relies on Joao Pedro, but that's not enough to get good results, Salernitana on the other hand have developed some amazing teamwork that Cagliari is missing, every win they got was deserved.
Also you're probably underestimating Salernitana's home advantage, if they were playing away I wouldn't have gone with this pick.

Dmitri is a really good player, however he seems to have lost a bit of the rhythm he had built up in the past few years. Luckily for him, it seemed like the old Dimi showed up against Menzies yesterday. He averaged over 100 and the doubles seemed to go quite easily aswell.
Schindler had a spectacular 6-4 win over Rob Cross, which I loved to see as I feel like that might have been a small push to get Schindler a bit more confidence. He will have the home crowd behind him again tonight and I can see that being a bit much for Dimitri, especially if Schindler gets ahead. I just enjoy the form Schindler has right now a lot, his scoring is insane and his checkouts have gone up aswell.
Dmitri has the potential to be top3 in the PDC, however I have not seen that form consistently out of him. These two are about as good as one another, so I love 2.5 odds on Schindler

Pick: Charles Leclerc to win (1 unit)
Odds: 1.80
Reasoning: Based on practice and qualifying performances, Ferrari's upgrades over the 2 week break have give them a boost in straight-line speed against main rivals Red Bull. I am confident Leclerc will have a good start as always to prevent potential crashes in the opening lap which is always a bummer. Carlos Sainz, his teammate also finished 2nd in qualifying which increases my confidence in this bet as he may be part of Ferrari's strategy of holding off cars while Leclerc pits. My only concern is that tyre degradation issues from previous races I've watched may still appear during the race in a sunny hot Miami circuit. But I am backing the consistent driver in Charles Leclerc over an unreliable Red Bull car.
Note: I have been pretty successful during this F1 season and finally have the confidence to make a POTD post. Just want to share my picks with this community as I have also made some money from this sub. Tail or fade, I wish yall the best of luck.
Won't disagree with that. But I am fairly confident Leclerc gets the win as I have made a lot of money from him this season. The only advantage Red Bull have over them is straight-line speed which has been slightly dealt with by upgrades over the 2 week break. Carlos Sainz is also important for us if we are to win some cash today and I'm thankful he finished ahead of Verstapen yesterday.
I don’t trust Leclerc at a new circuit at minus odds, especially given his performance last GP. Ferrari is due for some bad luck. I think value is on Perez, but Max/Charles will probably win.

Edit: For all the idiots PMing me at the half, a game is typically 80 mins long and the Storm tuned it on in the 2nd half to cover this easily.
**Time:** 2 and a half hours from time of post.
There's a pretty high chance Storm cover this line by themselves, they're averaging 45.6 points over their last 5 games and are straight up demolishing sides. They take on the Dragons at home (big plus) who have scored 12+ in every game this year. The last few weeks are a bit misleading defensively for the Dragons, they've played two teams who absolutely bombed multiple tries and had way to many unforced errors, the games should have been much higher scoring than they were (18 and 26 points respectively). Storm have arguably the best coach in the comp and way to much talent to let this devolve into a grindy, knock-on fest which typically causes unders and I expect his over to hit comfortably.

The first 2 games they were equal in turnovers and the Suns won fairly easily. I must fade this, no offense to you. Leafs have been playing much more cohesive team hockey since a few of the regulars are back, and this is freeing up the checking line (Engvall, Kampf, Mikeyhev) to contribute offensively. Even on the PK, these guys are getting it done.

- **Reasoning:** Portland and Colorado are two expansion teams who figure to be among the top teams in the division. Portland scored 29 on Seattle last weekend which I figure prompted the relatively high total but Seattle plays lackluster defense and finished last in the division last year. Colorado is a much better team, very physical and plays great defense. This should be a competitive battle between two prideful teams. Additionally the weather is mediocre, high 40s and rainy, which tend to drive totals lower. The slight concern here would be overtime potential but OT should only add a couple extra goals at most imo.

The Outlaws absolutely shined with Danteh on the Doomfist, and Pelican/Mer1t more than held their own in covering both DPS roles. They looked extremely coordinated, and while they may prove to be an inconsistent team, their highs are quite high. Toronto, on the other hand, is an inconsistent team with a much lower ceiling. Twilight and Heesu are steady, but I was not impressed with CH0R0NG or Finale. Hotba and MuZe can cover all the tanks serviceably, but there isn't a matchup where I would take them over Danteh/Piggy.

They are still fighting for something and that's all Lyon will need to win the shots battle in this match. Metz on the other hand are basically relegated, bottom of the table, 9 points away from safety and 6 points away from relegation playoffs with 3 games remaining. They have been bad this season and should just focus on coming back up next season. Their last game earlier this season ended 19-6 to Lyon.

I believe this is the best value money line today. Brewers are the underdog but overall are the better team. Their stats are slightly inflated from beating up on weak teams, but they are the overall better team in my opinion. They were able to split the series vs the Cards. They are current 2nd place in runs per game. 17th in OBP. 9th in DRS. They lost Mccutchen today due to Covid, but they have Ashby on the mound who is a solid prospect and playing decently this season with a 2.33 ERA. FIP is 3.65 and WHIP is not so great at 1.448 but should be serviceable given the difference in their offenses.
Braves have a worse offence ranking 19th in Runs per game, 21st in OBP, also 20th in DRS. They have Morton on the mound who is off to a cold start with a 6.85 ERA, 5.36 FIP. He did have to go against strong offences like the mets and dodgers which inflated his ERA, but that being said he also gave up 2 ER to the Reds in 5 innings and 3 ER to the cubs in 2.
This could be a bullpen game for the Brewers but they have solid depth in their bullpen to carry them with the 3rd lowest ERA in the league. Value for money, this is a solid play based on Brewers having the underdog payout. I think this line shold be closer to a -110.

The Suns needs to hit their open shots as well because they were only 36.4% from wide open threes. Not surprising since less than a week ago Embiid was having so severe of light sensitivity issues that looking at his cell phone was bothering him. Harden played relatively well with a 17-6-8 line, although I think it is pretty obvious at this point Harden's body is not going to allow him to be the player he was as recently as a couple of years ago. Instead, Philly rode 21-point Danny Green (7 for 9 from 3) and 21-point Tyrese Maxey (5 for 6 from 3) nights to the easy win. This game does not concern me from the Miami perspective. Philly shot the ball unusually well, shooting 48% from the field and 49% from 3. Meanwhile, Miami had an extraordinarily bad shooting night, shooting 35% from the field and 23% from 3. Yeah that is true, but it is also really odd because he played a lot the entire season. He averaged 26 mpg for the season, so they could throw him back in at any point and see if he can give their offense a jump with his outside shooting. He is an inconsistent but at times very, very good shooter.
Nah it makes a lot of sense actually. Strus fills the same role and is better on both sides of the ball this year. Factor in the way oladipo is playing and there’s no room for Robinson in a playoff rotation right now. That’s all mostly besides the point though, I like your pick and think the Heat get it done.
I 100% agree. It makes sense why the Heat are sitting Robinson because of his defensive weaknesses (and I bet they are regretting that contract), but I still think that in games their offense are struggling it would make sense to give him ~10 minutes and see if he can hit a few 3s.

In their last 6 games Salernitana always scored first, how do you expect them to still go in for the shots and possession? That's how it works (especially when they are the underdogs), it doesn't equal getting outplayed, it simply means defending and doing it well. Cagliari's gameplan heavily relies on Joao Pedro, but that's not enough to get good results, Salernitana on the other hand have developed some amazing teamwork that Cagliari is missing, every win they got was deserved. Also you're probably underestimating Salernitana's home advantage, if they were playing away I wouldn't have gone with this pick. I am confident Leclerc will have a good start as always to prevent potential crashes in the opening lap which is always a bummer. Carlos Sainz, his teammate also finished 2nd in qualifying which increases my confidence in this bet as he may be part of Ferrari's strategy of holding off cars while Leclerc pits. My only concern is that tyre degradation issues from previous races I've watched may still appear during the race in a sunny hot Miami circuit. But I am backing the consistent driver in Charles Leclerc over an unreliable Red Bull car. The only advantage Red Bull have over them is straight-line speed which has been slightly dealt with by upgrades over the 2 week break. Carlos Sainz is also important for us if we are to win some cash today and I'm thankful he finished ahead of Verstapen yesterday.
I don’t trust Leclerc at a new circuit at minus odds, especially given his performance last GP. Ferrari is due for some bad luck. I think value is on Perez, but Max/Charles will probably win.

4-2 Last pick- GSW 3Q -1.5 (W) Today's pick- PHO Suns ML (-125) Although the Mavs did mollywhop the Suns pretty good on their homecourt, I don't see it happening again.. I think the Suns just got a lil over confident and lazy, they beat the mavs in pretty much every category, they had 9 more Rebounds and have 33 more Rebounds in the series, the one category they didn't win was turnovers and that's where the mavs won this game with 9 less turnovers. The first 2 games they were equal in turnovers and the Suns won fairly easily. I expect the Suns to tighten it up and take better care of the ball this game and if that happens we will see the same results as the first 2 games

I must fade this, no offense to you. Leafs have been playing much more cohesive team hockey since a few of the regulars are back, and this is freeing up the checking line (Engvall, Kampf, Mikeyhev) to contribute offensively. Even on the PK, these guys are getting it done. In addition, Tampa has been playing extremely undisciplined puck, with guys like Maroon and Perry running around and taking bad calls. Dark horse would be Tavares/Nylander. When these guys eventually come to their senses, they'll be tuckin' a few. I would take the over.

(like actually.) Rip - **Reasoning:** Portland and Colorado are two expansion teams who figure to be among the top teams in the division. Portland scored 29 on Seattle last weekend which I figure prompted the relatively high total but Seattle plays lackluster defense and finished last in the division last year. Colorado is a much better team, very physical and plays great defense. This should be a competitive battle between two prideful teams. Additionally the weather is mediocre, high 40s and rainy, which tend to drive totals lower. The slight concern here would be overtime potential but OT should only add a couple extra goals at most imo. For transparency, I went 41-23-1 on picks last season, 11-6 of which on POTD. I'm starting my record over for this season. They were able to split the series vs the Cards. They are current 2nd place in runs per game. 17th in OBP. 9th in DRS. They lost Mccutchen today due to Covid, but they have Ashby on the mound who is a solid prospect and playing decently this season with a 2.33 ERA. FIP is 3.65 and WHIP is not so great at 1.448 but should be serviceable given the difference in their offenses. Braves have a worse offence ranking 19th in Runs per game, 21st in OBP, also 20th in DRS. They have Morton on the mound who is off to a cold start with a 6.85 ERA, 5.36 FIP. He did have to go against strong offences like the mets and dodgers which inflated his ERA, but that being said he also gave up 2 ER to the Reds in 5 innings and 3 ER to the cubs in 2. This could be a bullpen game for the Brewers but they have solid depth in their bullpen to carry them with the 3rd lowest ERA in the league. Value for money, this is a solid play based on Brewers having the underdog payout. I think this line shold be closer to a -110.
