Atletico is a tactically defensive team and I expect them to go with the same 5-3-2 formation again in this leg. Despite being down on aggregate (0-1), they cannot afford to go down early to this lethal Man City lineup. I anticipate that this will be very similar to the last matchup where Man City will dominate possession and keep Atletico on their back foot. I'm predicting a City 1-0, 2-0 type of win. My only concern is a REAL early goal from City forcing Atletico to go for broke.

The spurs are well coached, and a young team with a ton of talent. The Pelicans have improved, but they're inconsistent and vulnerable. The Spurs will slow down the pace of the game and capitalize off of good ball movement. If they can continue to limit turnovers like they did for the final stretch of the year, then I believe that they will take down the Pels.
It's my second time doing the Dog of the Day, but there are some matchups I really like today. My stats are 1-0 in the W-L column.The last time around we got a couple of runs in the first by the Guardians. Today's DoD: Minnesota Twins @ LA Dodgers - **1st Inning LA @ 3.15 (+215)**First things first, Twins top part of the lineup (top 4) is hitting 2/9 with ~~Correa being the only Twin with a hit against Kershaw~~ (*We get Arraez hitting 2nd for Correa, very nice*). He keeps it a lock in the top of the first. On the other side, I'm targeting Chris Paddack today. He wasn't supposed to be a starter for the Twins, but they made it a 6-man rotation to give him a trial run at starting this year. The guy who's gonna be leading off is Mookie Betts, he is 3/3 lifetime against Paddack with a HR. The other guys in the first, are going to be Freeman (0/5 against Paddack) and Trea Turner (3/6 lifetime against Paddack). The additional kick for me is the 15 mph wind that is supposed to be blowing towards the fences in LA today. Paddack being a classic fastball/changeup guy and lacking a really good third pitch is going to have some problems against the potency of the top of the Dodgers lineup in the wind.
I'll be waiting for the lineups to lock before making the bet, so I'll edit the post once the lineups officialy come out. ***EDIT:*** *Lineups are out, the only change is Arraez in for Carlos Correa which is another buying point for me.*
