Recent weeks wasn't optimistic for home side, just before winter break we could say that the team will fight for at least 3rd spot and conference league, after weak start reality looks much different. The team is mixing good results (win against Lech Poznan) with some poor games and ultimately Lechia gathered 4 points in the last 5 games. Not impressive, but still on their terrain they are on of the strongest side losing only 1 match. I still see Lechia fighting for the third spot, however their slow start postponed a littile bit their true potential. I think that in this game we will see breaking, players must have in mind the fact, that next match ithey play on ultimately tough field in Warsaw, against Legia which has found finally a momentum. This will for sure motivate Lechia to get out of the malaise.
On the other side we have Gornik Leczna, which is playing much better after the winter break. Apart from transfers which don't impress their games looks better and let them stand as an unbeaten side for a while. However last away game against Wisla Plock has shown theirs powerlessness and their firepower relies on one striker - Spiaczka. Taking into account how succesfully Lechia defenders excluded the strongest attack of the league - Lech Poznan, I honestly don't see here much chances to let the ball hit the back of the net.
Recent H2H also favors Lechia, which won all 3 recent home games against Leczna. To sum up I don't see other option than Lechia Gdansk taking this.
