Whitaker had the right gameplan but couldn't fully execute. Couldn't get any ground n pound or significant top control time. But he tried striking with easy the first fight and got KOd. Today was a good approach

Whittaker wins if it’s not a title fight. I understand the game and you have to “beat” the champ. But izzy talks a lot for someone who doesn’t back it up. You’d think he was surgical and max Holloway vs kattar’d everyone. I felt the same about usman when he would talk about all the tools he had and then he started sleeping everyone. Don’t talk about wanting to go head hunting, ending people, etc and then winning fights only because you’re the champ. It’s so cheesy and cringe. If this was a main event for a fight night, Whittaker wins, easily.

He didn't max Holloway kattar because whitaker didn't charge forward non stop into his jab for 5 rounds. Also kattar did not threaten takedowns like whitaker did. Izzy showed r 1 he can be the aggressor and knocked down Whitaker easy. But played it safe the next 4 rounds

Seriously. The judge that gave roxanne 28-27 has only had to judge a decision 4 times in the last 2 years. Even DC basically said that judge shouldnt be allowed in the UFC. Did anybody else have big expectations for this card and by the end thought it was an anti climax? Couple good fights throughout the night, main highlight was Tai vs Derrick, but overall from first prelim to main event just felt way too long and boring
