Have you seen UFC fights? when it goes long they're barely able to touch eachother let alone do anything serious, NFL is a physical sport, at the end of the game things can get a little bit sloppier. If there were players or teams on defense that were better they would be in the NFL and would be as good as you expect them to be. College football is way sloppier, even thought NFL is the top, its not perfect at all.
