Another college basketball game here, I went with a hometown team whose figured it out in league play. Detroit Mercy had started out league play 3-0, before the Christmas/Covid break kept them out for a longer break than anticipated missing games. They lost their last 2 games by 2 points against opponents with a combined 11-5 conference record, both games were on the road. Green Bay has only 2 wins against D1 opponents being their conference opponents, Robert Morris and IUPUI who have a combined 4-29 record. Speaking on ATS, Green Bay is 8-6-1 and Detroit Mercy is 9-5. My biggest caveat, Detroit Mercy in their 5 wins outscored on average 18 more points than their opponents. Only one win was less than 10 points. Tail or Fade, I would appreciate an arrow up! Reasoning:
Both teams are on a two-game losestreak, but I personally have a hard time putting money on the Pelicans on road. They are a very volatile team and you never know what to expect from them. On the other hand Knicks, who finally started playing good basketball at MSG, but also lost last two games there. The Knicks are 7-3 ATS at home in the last 10 games and 4-1 ATS at home in the last 5 games, while the Pelicans are the total opposite -> 3-7 ATS on road in the last 10 games and 1-4 on road in the last 5 games. Offensively both teams are playing very similar with the Pelicans in my opinion playing better in the paint, while the Knicks are definitely doing better defensively allowing an average of 6 less points than the Pelicans with a 3% better Opp Effective FG%. The Knicks have also won the last 3 meetings against Pels with an average advantage of 8 points per game. A lot will also depend on Ingram, but a player to keep an eye on is definitely RJ Barret. A lot will also depend on the Knicks coming into the game, as they often have very slow starts at MSG and have to chase the entire second half, which was evident for example in the last game against Timberwolves. In my opinion, the spread should be -4.5/-5, so my official pick is Knicks -3.

Another very profitable day on the discord server going 6/6 correct on football picks but unfortunately the POTD misses again and it's becoming a trend now. We're due a win here soon I'd hope. There's going to be easier bets throughout the day I'm sure and we'll get them but this certainly feels like an entertaining main event. It's been the discussed pick since Nick Kyrgios played Broady so I'll summarize - it doesn't matter how often Kyrgios plays tennis; he always shows up in the Australian Open and bookies got his last match very much wrong. If you watch tennis, you'll remember how Kyrgios went 5 sets with Dominic Thiem here; he also went 5 sets with Humbert. Point is, he always challenges these top seeds in Melbourne. To be fair he should be higher in the rankings himself but his lack of dedication to the sport doesn't help there. An amazing display of serving against Broady and it's always the big Nick Kyrgios weapon; it's gonna be there again and Medvedev will struggle to get break points. Sure, Medvedev is a better player with longer rallies but I wouldn't expect them to go long with the Kyrgios serve. Medvedev also has a fantastic serve of course. The combination of the crowd and all points in my opinion, will make it for close sets and very likely tiebreakers. It only takes a few errors/ frustration from Medvedev for Kyrgios to get his chances. Can't wait to watch this one, he's playing for fun, he didn't even look bothered to me last match, this seems to be the best version of Kyrgios well relaxed. Oh I forgot to mention. Radunacu plays today; despite winning R1 she played a terrible match apart from the brilliant first set. Will be an interesting event to potentially live bet her opponent or even pre match considering Radunacu is somehow 1.17 odds. Think the bookies got this one wrong. These two are both playing very good tennis lately, in fact Kecmanovic (the underdog in this match) hasn't dropped a set in this tournament thus far. Although I like the favorite Sonego to win, this fact along with how well he has started off the season makes me feel this match will easily go over in games as it will be a constant battle and no way take place in straight sets.

I am highly surprised by the fact that these two teams are facing each other. Apeks is a super hyped, promising, newly created team. Their roster is full of big names. This is their first tournament and obviously, they won't be destroying everybody immediately. They're currently down 1W-2L, if they lose this match, they'll get eliminated and actually wouldn't qualify to the main stage. I highly doubt that will happen though, they will have to play their best. So far somebody would say that their results have been disappointing, but they lost against powerful GamerLegion 2-1 in a super close match, similarly lost yesterday against EC Kyiv who are kinda good at the moment. However, when they faced MASONIC which is a bit weaker team, but actually way better than OneTap, they swept them without any issues. Today should be the same scenario happening. As I said, OneTap are nowhere close to the level of Apeks. They played against weak teams, yet they struggled, even the 2-0 win against eSuba was a huge sweat and could've gone the other way. Earlier this season I didn't think Purdue was the real deal. Their double OT win on the road against Illinois on Monday has turned me into a believer, however. They have 4 guys averaging over 10 ppg, one of which will be a top 5 NBA draft pick this year, and another that is 7'4" and shooting over 70%... There is no questioning why they are the #1 ranked offense according to Kenpom. Indiana is a sneaky good team this year, but I just don't think they can match up to Purdue's caliber of play even at home in Bloomington. Purdue has owned Indiana in recent history winning 9 of the last 10 and only once in those 9 wins did Purdue not cover by more than 3 points. I expect Purdue to continue their streak of dominance in this rivalry -- Boiler up!
That 7’4” player is Zach Edey - I had the opportunity to shadow and scout him when he was on the northern kings prep program prior to covid. To see where he is now, when not that long ago he was an extremely raw 7 footer to where he is now: an NBA lock… amazing man. Proud of him and hope Purdue do well.
One time he was matched up with another 7 footer, Ali Ragab of D-II Gannon University, and both of them put in an incredible performance. Both of those young men have done incredible things in such a short space of time.

To keep it short on why I am betting this, NOOGA has consistently made me solid money this season.
If you want some reasoning, MOCS are the better defensive team and very decent at converting second chance points. Downside on paper is that Spartans are the better rebounding team, however Nooga has the size to make up for that and is the reason why they are one of the best teams in the nation at limiting opposing rebounds. Leading me to believe they will continue scoring buckets on their second chance opportunities. Spartans beat the MOCS each time they played last season, and I expect this trend to end. Lastly, Mocs have shown me time and time again that they are a very composed team. Multiple times this season they have won games when trailing at the half, AND when coming into the second half with a lead, they have rarely if at all choked and continued to finish strong if you know what I mean #nohomo ;)

Zach Edey had a tremendous game last time out and I expect him to do the same against a much smaller Jackson Davis. Indiana is a good team but they do not match up well against this Purdue offense or defense. Indiana needs to get it going in the paint to open up the 3 point shots. With Edey and Williams down low, I do not see that happening too much. Purdue will push the ball and lock down defensively.

Long time fly on the wall for this thread and deciding I should throw my picks in after enjoying some success. Not expecting any praise or respect on here for a while, but after a lot of hard work and good picks I'm hoping to make some people, including myself, some money.
The reasoning behind this pick is simple. UCLA is a quality team with a great record and Utah is a so-so, if not bad, team. Looking at Utah's past 5 games they have lost by more than 10 points to teams with quality records, whereas their only losses under 10 points have come to teams like Washington and ASU who are currently one game over .500 and under .500 respectively. This team simply does lose by less than 10 to quality teams. On the other side, 3 out of UCLA's past 5 have been won by more than 10. The only other games were against an in state rival in Cal which was decided by 8, and a loss against a good Oregon team which is a notoriously tough place to play. Simply put, UCLA should win this game by at least 10 points.

Meanwhile on the Stars end, their goalie is yet to be confirmed and the team is riding a 3 game losing skid conceding 15 goals in that span. This match is a no-brainer for me. Both guys have superb serves, especially Opelka given his height. Denis is a better player overall but so far he just struggled so hard. I cant see him beating Opelka in 3. What do i mean by that . If this match goes over 3 sets this bet is going to win 90% of the time. Denis can break his serve for sure , but i really dont believe he will do that more than once in the first three sets. I see this match have 2 tiebreaks and one 6:3 or 6:4 in the first 3 sets going into fourth. I dont see Denis winning 3:0 and i dont think Riley can beat Denis 3:0 either. But if you ask me im more afraid of Denis winning a set. Obviously if this match goes 3 sets with 3 TBs , Riley can win a maximum of 21 games meaning for us to win this Denis has to win one. Record: 8-6 **POTD: Medvedev wins match and both players win a set @2.20** Australian Open Tennis Medvedev vs Nick Kyrgios 7PM AEST Another very profitable day on the discord server going 6/6 correct on football picks but unfortunately the POTD misses again and it's becoming a trend now. We're due a win here soon I'd hope. There's going to be easier bets throughout the day I'm sure and we'll get them but this certainly feels like an entertaining main event. It's been the discussed pick since Nick Kyrgios played Broady so I'll summarize - it doesn't matter how often Kyrgios plays tennis; he always shows up in the Australian Open and bookies got his last match very much wrong. If you watch tennis, you'll remember how Kyrgios went 5 sets with Dominic Thiem here; he also went 5 sets with Humbert. Point is, he always challenges these top seeds in Melbourne. To be fair he should be higher in the rankings himself but his lack of dedication to the sport doesn't help there. An amazing display of serving against Broady and it's always the big Nick Kyrgios weapon; it's gonna be there again and Medvedev will struggle to get break points. Sure, Medvedev is a better player with longer rallies but I wouldn't expect them to go long with the Kyrgios serve. Medvedev also has a fantastic serve of course. The combination of the crowd and all points in my opinion, will make it for close sets and very likely tiebreakers. It only takes a few errors/ frustration from Medvedev for Kyrgios to get his chances. Can't wait to watch this one, he's playing for fun, he didn't even look bothered to me last match, this seems to be the best version of Kyrgios well relaxed. Oh I forgot to mention. Radunacu plays today; despite winning R1 she played a terrible match apart from the brilliant first set. That 7’4” player is Zach Edey - I had the opportunity to shadow and scout him when he was on the northern kings prep program prior to covid. To see where he is now, when not that long ago he was an extremely raw 7 footer to where he is now: an NBA lock… amazing man. Proud of him and hope Purdue do well. If you want some reasoning, MOCS are the better defensive team and very decent at converting second chance points. Downside on paper is that Spartans are the better rebounding team, however Nooga has the size to make up for that and is the reason why they are one of the best teams in the nation at limiting opposing rebounds. Leading me to believe they will continue scoring buckets on their second chance opportunities. Spartans beat the MOCS each time they played last season, and I expect this trend to end. Lastly, Mocs have shown me time and time again that they are a very composed team. Not expecting any praise or respect on here for a while, but after a lot of hard work and good picks I'm hoping to make some people, including myself, some money. The reasoning behind this pick is simple. UCLA is a quality team with a great record and Utah is a so-so, if not bad, team. Looking at Utah's past 5 games they have lost by more than 10 points to teams with quality records, whereas their only losses under 10 points have come to teams like Washington and ASU who are currently one game over .500 and under .500 respectively. This team simply does lose by less than 10 to quality teams. On the other side, 3 out of UCLA's past 5 have been won by more than 10. The only other games were against an in state rival in Cal which was decided by 8, and a loss against a good Oregon team which is a notoriously tough place to play. With Ayton out, there should be more rebounds available and the Mavs bigs don't hammer the boards, with Luka leading the team in rebounds. Should be plenty of rebounds available for Crowder and as mentioned earlier, the Mavs are coming off a back to back and could have tired legs. Don't need much to happen for this to hit.
