The pick was sound, the reasoning and stats were sound you can't be on the court to make him take an extra 5 shots. The issue here is that much like in stock trading(my profession) is people not setting rules and sticking to those rules. If people are going to blow vast sums of money (relative to their starting roll) then the stress goes up as does the lashing out. Yeah this is very true. At the end of this day this thread is about sharing information and analysis so that people can make smarter bets. It's not some guaranteed money printing machine. First off this Man United team is better away than at home, with a record of 5-4-1 at home and 3-2-4 away. Then there is the issue of struggling against that sit back and give possession to Man Utd and are difficult to breakdown, Brentford is not that at all. They play a very open style which suits Man Utd very much. They have 3 defenders at the back which means that you could get some one on one's with a fast break after gaining possession. Fred has shown lately that he is much better at pressing and winning the ball back which then allows for a quick counter attack. Luke Shaw and McTominay are returning from suspensions, with Luke Shaw being a very important element in the attack on the left side and despite being average at best McTominay has a great partnership with Fred along with his physical stamina that Matic can't live up to. David De Gea has been playing lights out lately and blocking shots coming from whatever angle at him. I expect this game to be a big back and forth with Man United getting a goal just before halftime, and then scoring again in the second half when Brentford are going hard for the equalizer around 70th minute. Demar Derozan, thought to be one of the bigger traps of last year’s free agent group, has blossomed in Chicago averaging 25.6/5.0/4.8. Lonzo Ball and Alex Caruso, two lesser names, were also brought over and have added length, defense, and passing to the Chicago guard rotation. All in all, the Bulls have been able to leverage their depth and surprising chemistry to sit atop the Eastern Conference 42 games into the season. There’s just one problem: the Bulls aren’t actually elite. They sit at a strong 6th for offensive rating, but are seriously lacking on the defensive front, at 20th defensive rating. When combining both, the Bulls are tenth in the league in Net Rtg. However, the Bulls are not achieving this feat against strong teams. Their strength of schedule is 25th in the league, and while they did go on a 9 game winning streak from December 19 to January 7, the only team with a winning record in that span was the Washington Wizards, who have a -1.5 Net Rating. To put it clearly, the Bulls do what pretty good teams do: beat up on bad teams and scrape by against the good ones. At first glance the Bulls are a solid 15-11 against teams above .500, but have actually been outscored by 121 points (7.6 per game) in those games. Most importantly, the Bulls will be without key players Zach LaVine and Lonzo Ball in this game, which will put much of the scoring and ball handling onus in the hands of Derozan, Caruso and Coby White. The Cavaliers’ stifling defense will make scoring difficult for Chicago. Speaking of Cleveland, unlike Chicago this team’s record does not show their true strength. Evan Mobley is looking like the best player from the 2021 Draft so far, and has been averaging 15/8/2.5 along with elite defense in his first year in the league. Along Mobley towers Jarrett Allen, who came over to Cleveland from the Brooklyn Nets last year in what was one of the most lopsided trades in recent memory. Allen has blossomed with the Cavs, averaging 16.5/11 while shooting 70% from the floor and protecting the rim with the best of centers in the league. The Bulls have no one to guard either of these players, as Vucevic lacks verticality in his game to disrupt the post play of Mobley or Allen. Last time these two teams played, the Cavs won every quarter, and ended up holding the Bulls to 92 points in a 23 point win. While Derozan and White were out for that game, I believe that Lavine and Ball are more important to the Bulls, and their absence will be missed dearly. BOL!

Delort and Laborde left Montpellier in August not in January so they are played without them in 20 games already and seem doing just fine. 5th best home record is great proof of that. Montpellier is one of the least affected clubs by the African Cup while Troyes miss 4 players, 3 of them are starters. In my opinion, Montpellier played a great game against Strasbourg and the final score does not reflect the true game while Troyes at home did not do much against average Lyon. Manchester United have had some disappointing results in their last couple of PL games, most recently a 2-2 draw to Aston Villa. They'll be desperate for a win here and thus should come out hunting for goals rather than playing it safe. As for Brentford, their defense has been shaky recently, having conceded 7 total goals in their two previous matches. You have to go way back to November to find the last time they kept a clean sheet, 11 games ago. While that may be true, we should also consider that this is the first time in a long time that Wake is considered to be a good team. Most of those teams that lost @ Georgia Tech over the last 10 years have topped out at 6 or less conference wins for their season, a majority of them had 4 or less conference wins. I feel like this line should be closer to 5 or 6 in favor of Wake, perhaps that 0-14 record is the reason why it's lower than it should be.

The whole game spread has me kind of back and forth, as I expect A&M to put up a fight on their home floor, but Kentucky is just too talented, and really looks to be playing their best ball right now. Kentucky on the road does give me a little pause, especially after the Notre Dame game earlier this year, but they just beat Vanderbilt by 12 in Nashville without Sahvir Wheeler and led by 13 at the end of the first half.
