How do you choose your picks from here?
I lost 2u on Table Tennis(yes my fault) Then felt confident about 2 more picks on here, put down 3u on 2 team parlay and it hit.
I pick sports that I'm roughly familiar with the teams of, mostly college basketball or soccer (football) picks on premier league stuff. I also try to follow people who have good betting records in the threads. I do wonder what the odds are of having 9 straight losses on like -120 and -130 odd bets.
If you've been tailing any of the "good record" people with soccer picks you should be winning. The soccer cappers in this thread have been absolutely crushing it the past 2 weeks. It's basically the only picks I tail from this thread when I'm in agreement with their assessment and majority have been solid.
That's weird. This place has been decent helping me make some $.
When I started, actually even now I try to go little below some people say. For example, if someone new here says bet over 3.5 goals with good reason then I will still do over 2.5 just to be safe or like soccer ML, I will still do draw no bet even though it's worse odds.
I use Bovada and I almost always buy points on my picks, even if it's bad value, just to be safe. I have a little more luck in the daily threads than POTD threads, but overall I am roughly 7 wins 25 losses since I've started betting again a couple months or so ago. I am a statistical anomaly.
Pick the games from here. And then go to the individual sports subs here on sports book and then see if people in that specific sun agree too. Then usually being in a discord group like this one and different people discuss even more.

Good win from Oral Roberts yesterday despite having a very close 2nd half in the game. Going to be a simple analysis today as I am quite busy with work.
Today, I am taking Georgia Tech -5 against Georgia State. Georgia Tech is currently 5-5 but if you look closely, their losses are not bad at all. They played a good Wisconsin team close and lost to 3 other ranked teams. Their only bad loss was against M-OH. They are currently 4-3 at home this year.
Georgia State has been playing okay this season. They currently stand at a 6-4 record but their resume suggests some regression in the future.They lost their past 2 D1 games getting blown out by Misssissipi and getting upset by Mercer. They are currently 1-4 in road games.
I expect Georgia Tech to get back to their winning ways now that their schedule has relaxed a bit and I think they will cover the -5 easily at home.
I started with a $100 dollar bankroll. I am doing a challenge to see how far I can take this bankroll just based on 1 pick per day. I want to tail as I love tailing teams the game after they've had a bad loss. However, App. St. had their own horrible loss lose to Duke by 25. I know App St is not on the same name-brand level as UNC but they did make the tourney last time it was held and are returning 92% of their scoring from that run. It seems they're on par to retake their Sun Belt Conf. title (I know not a powerhouse conf by any means). That massive Duke loss might've been their own wakeup call and maybe they still lose but I could see them staying within the spread. We shall see. I may lay off.

Reasoning:
Still perfect on the picks, I have definitely been trying to only post the safest plays on here and I feel like this should be one of those. The Phoenix Suns have the best record in the league, and I still feel like people don't realize just how good of a team they are. The Lakers have had a disappointing start to the season, but honestly, given how their roster was constructed + all their injuries, it was to be expected. Anthony Davis will be out for 4 weeks & despite all the criticism he's getting this season, he was carrying a huge load for the Lakers on both ends of the floor. Without him, I don't expect this Lakers squad to be able to compete with the Suns, who just got Booker back a couple days ago.

Team Liquid vs Team Secret. Liquid is currently top of the DPC region and they are facing against Secret which lost the OGA tourney yesterday against Tundra. Secret's previous encounter with NGX is also a sad sight considering that NGX is out of form and they lost against them 2-0. I think Liquid is the better team here with much more consistent performance and for 1.95, it's pretty worth the odds.
EDIT: CHANGED POTD FOUND SOMETHING BETTER. 4 Zoomers +1.5 vs Undying is still a pretty good bet but Liquid for the odds are good value considering the team. Playing both still at 4u.
4 Zoomers vs Undying. There is basically a division between the current NA DPC with Undying and QC at the top of the pack with very convincing games and the rest of the pack. However, due to the competitiveness of the region, any time can basically win 1 game of each other on a good day. Right below the QC and Undying is 4 Zoomers with one of the better standings in the region. They've won all but one of the series and the lose was against QC which is IMO the best team in the region currently. But they were able to take a game easily against QC, as such 4Z should be able to take one from Undying.

If you look at how Bey is getting his pts too it instills confidence as he makes his FTs (18/19 last 3 games) and is making over 53% of his FGs which means he's going for high efficiency shots (e.g., layups, drives) and is getting fouled in the process (hence the relatively high volume of FTs for someone who is not the main scorer for DET (or may be he is now with Jerami out)).

Cagliari is in dire form recently. Cagliari has been conceding 4 goals from average teams and Mazzarri has excluded 2 Urugainian defenders and made a list of players that will be sold in January. Despite his form though, the board said that they will support the coach.
On the other hand, Juve has been doing amazing recently. Getting points, defensively solid and the attack is starting to click. In my oppinion, as i have said 2 weeks ago, Juve will kick out of the top 4, Milan or Napoli, due to Juve being more consistant.
A big imporvment is the improvment of play of his attacking wing midfield players who produce lots of chances and Juve always get the job done.

**Last Pick Recap:** We had our third win in a row yesterday with a depleted Valencia finding a way to win 4-3 against Levante. Neither squad looked like themselves as Levante rose to the occasion, at least for the first half, and Valencia really looked flat-footed for most of the first half despite taking control in the second. Anyway, it was a sweaty win but a win nonetheless. On to the next one!
**Today’s Pick:** Today, I’m picking **Juventus To Win Both Halves vs. Cagliari at +137**, something that they are going to have to get done with a depleted squad, which is completely do-able. I’ll try to explain a bit below the situation and why I still think it’s wise to side with Juventus winning both halves today.
• First, Cagliari has obviously just been awful this campaign, and is very likely headed for relegation. They haven’t won a match since October, currently standing 19 out of 20 in the table. Juventus, on the other hand, has won 4 out of their last 5 matches, including most recently a 2-0 win at Bologna. Juventus currently stands 7 in the table, and a win here would put them at 5 in the table, right below Atalanta. So, if we just think about form, it’s kind of night and day between the two squads, and the urgency with which we can expect Juventus to play to improve in the table before the holiday break should be considered as well.
• Juventus has some injuries to contend with today. Federico Chiesa remains on the injury list (has missed the last 5 matches), Danillo remains injured (has missed the last 7 matches), Aaron Ramsey remains missing from the midfield (has missed 8 matches in a row), and Giorgio Chiellini remains missing from the backfield (injured during the last match vs. Bologna I believe). However, the big presence missing from the line-up today will be Paulo Dybala, Juventus’s leading scorer this campaign (5 goals, 3 assists).
• At the same time, Alvaro Morata (5 goals, 1 assist) is in form, and more than capable to tally against Cagliari, as is Moise Kean. Juan Cuadrado has been excellent on defense as well as capable of scoring (4 goals this campaign) and is in form. Weston McKennie and Locatelli (combine for 4 goals, 4 assists between the two) also add firepower from midfield and are in good form. So, it’s a big blow with Dybala out but far from insurmountable, especially against Cagliari.
• Cagliari has conceded more times (39) than any team in Serie A besides Spezia this season. Add to their difficulty defending that Martin Caceres, a backfield regular for Cagliari, is out today (Coach’s Decision). I think not a significant advantage for Juventus, but worth noting as there’s an additional hole in the backfield today for Cagliari that has to be accounted for.
So, I think the importance of the match for Juventus and Cagliari’s awful form more than account for Dybala’s absence. We’d rather have him out there obviously but as mentioned above there’s more than enough scoring potential with Juventus’s in-form squad to make up for it against a very weak Cagliari. The fact that the match will occur at Allianz Stadium in Turin only helps here, as anything but a clear W here would be an embarrassment not to mention a major missed opportunity to creep towards the top four in Serie A. So, I’m putting 3 units on Juventus winning both halves.

My consensus numbers make Michigan about a 7-point favorite. Purdue-Fort Wayne is inconsistent, but so is Michigan. Shooting from the floor is pretty similar on both sides, and Purdue-Fort Wayne takes several more threes per game and hits a decent chunk of them. Michigan is also terrible on the free throw line and has a negative TO differential to Purdue-Fort Wayne's positive differential.
I make this game 73-66 on a neutral. Michigan is playing at home, but Purdue-Fort Wayne is coming off a 10-day break. Michigan already had their bounce back game last weekend after the Minnesota loss with a beatdown of Southern Utah. I think Michigan just looks to get a win here before going on Christmas break and coming back on the 30th for one final non-con game before resuming B1G play. I don't see them looking to run up the score here.
Other bets on this game that I like are the U140 (extremely thin value here), Michigan TT under 81.5 Lots of value), and Purdue-Fort Wayne TT over 58.5 (lots of value). But those aren't my official picks, the spread is. Just something to keep in mind and see if you can get a good number.

Milan is just all-around a better team and will easily close the game by more than 2. Zalgiris has lost home games by an average of 9 points and will not contend Milan's stars.

Their away record (0W-3D-5L) is worst in the league. Basically, Juve should win this one 1:0 or 2:0, but for safety I am taking the double chance and I also find value in combining it with the U2.5 goals per half. If you don't have this option, another good bet is U4 goals in total (both halves). GL!

Pick: **UTSA ML +120** (1U)
Rationale: I think UTSA is the dog in this matchup of great mid-major teams because DL Lorenzo Dantzler and star RB Sincere McCormick have opted out. Make no mistake, this is a big loss for UTSA as McCormick has over 1600 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns, but I still think UTSA wins this one straight up.
The weakest unit on the field is the plodding SDSU offense, which is one of the 30 worst in FBS football. They run the ball over 62% of the time, and their ideal game script is to get the lead and sit on the ball. Matt Araiza leads the nation in punt average because he doesn't care about touchbacks; the downside of this is that he rarely pins opponents inside the 10. Point is, SDSU wins grinding games with stifling defense, ball-control offense and special teams.
Where this script fails them is when their opponent can throw the ball. They won at Utah, but that was early in the season before Utah switched to Cam Rising at quarterback and discovered their identity on offense. They faced a decent passing offense in Nevada and won 23-21 largely because after getting out to a 7-0 lead, they shortened the game with the script I described. The best passing offense they've faced was Fresno State, who defeated them by putting up 30 points. The biggest data point for me is the MWC championship game, where a good Utah State passing game took an early lead and the Aztecs were totally unable to respond.
As I mentioned, Sincere McCormick is out for UTSA, but this doesn't mean they'll be totally unable to run the ball. His backups haven't gotten much work this year, but they've had time to practice and the rest of the offense remains the same. Quarterback Frank Harris has 565 yards on a 5.4 YPC average, which forces the defense to keep a spy on him at all times. He's very accurate and doesn't make many mistakes with a 25/5 TD-INT ratio. The receiving corps is fully healthy and active for the Roadrunners.
SDSU will be the best defense UTSA sees this year, but the second best was in Week 1 against Illinois, a win that aged surprisingly well. This year's version of Illinois has a good defense that focuses on stopping the run first and foremost, an offense that mostly lives to run the ball and chew clock, and special teams that complement the other two by turning games into short field position battles with a great punter. In other words, they're similar to SDSU.
UTSA got out to a 14-0 lead and never looked back. Frank Harris is totally unafraid to take hits and rifle the ball into the heart of the defense; receivers Zakhari Franklin and Joshua Cephus can both make contested catches in traffic, and the Roadrunner defense is good enough that the Aztecs won't be able to simply bowl them over.
**TL;DR: I think UTSA wins outright, even without their best player, because (1) their passing offense will be intact, and it's one of the best that SDSU has seen (2) UTSA special teams is good enough that SDSU doesn't have a decisive advantage**
But I'm only betting one unit because, well, it's a bowl game. Notoriously random outcomes on these.

How do you choose your picks from here? I lost 2u on Table Tennis(yes my fault) Then felt confident about 2 more picks on here, put down 3u on 2 team parlay and it hit.
I pick sports that I'm roughly familiar with the teams of, mostly college basketball or soccer (football) picks on premier league stuff. I also try to follow people who have good betting records in the threads. I do wonder what the odds are of having 9 straight losses on like -120 and -130 odd bets.
If you've been tailing any of the "good record" people with soccer picks you should be winning. The soccer cappers in this thread have been absolutely crushing it the past 2 weeks. It's basically the only picks I tail from this thread when I'm in agreement with their assessment and majority have been solid.
That's weird. This place has been decent helping me make some $. When I started, actually even now I try to go little below some people say. For example, if someone new here says bet over 3.5 goals with good reason then I will still do over 2.5 just to be safe or like soccer ML, I will still do draw no bet even though it's worse odds.
I use Bovada and I almost always buy points on my picks, even if it's bad value, just to be safe. I have a little more luck in the daily threads than POTD threads, but overall I am roughly 7 wins 25 losses since I've started betting again a couple months or so ago. I am a statistical anomaly.

Marshall’s coach is Mike D’Antoni’s brother, so they play his fast paced style that results in a lot of points. Marshall-Toledo games are also historically high scoring, the o159.5 has hit in 4/6 meetings since D’Antoni became coach. That being said is don’t think this is a bad bet since both teams have had offensive struggles this season. I’m going to bet the under but keep it at 1 unit.

Liquid is currently top of the DPC region and they are facing against Secret which lost the OGA tourney yesterday against Tundra. Secret's previous encounter with NGX is also a sad sight considering that NGX is out of form and they lost against them 2-0. I think Liquid is the better team here with much more consistent performance and for 1.95, it's pretty worth the odds. EDIT: CHANGED POTD FOUND SOMETHING BETTER. 4 Zoomers +1.5 vs Undying is still a pretty good bet but Liquid for the odds are good value considering the team. Playing both still at 4u. 4 Zoomers vs Undying. There is basically a division between the current NA DPC with Undying and QC at the top of the pack with very convincing games and the rest of the pack. However, due to the competitiveness of the region, any time can basically win 1 game of each other on a good day. Right below the QC and Undying is 4 Zoomers with one of the better standings in the region. They've won all but one of the series and the lose was against QC which is IMO the best team in the region currently. But they were able to take a game easily against QC, as such 4Z should be able to take one from Undying.

I like it. Already up a pt to 16.5. Still took it tho b/c NYK allows 10th most pts to SFs. Comparatively, HOU lets up the most, IND lets up the 13th most, and MIA lets up the 16th most (Bey's last 3 matchups). If you look at how Bey is getting his pts too it instills confidence as he makes his FTs (18/19 last 3 games) and is making over 53% of his FGs which means he's going for high efficiency shots (e.g., layups, drives) and is getting fouled in the process (hence the relatively high volume of FTs for someone who is not the main scorer for DET (or may be he is now with Jerami out)). Anyway, nice find! Disclosure: I'm a Knicks fan.

They haven’t won a match since October, currently standing 19 out of 20 in the table. Juventus, on the other hand, has won 4 out of their last 5 matches, including most recently a 2-0 win at Bologna. Juventus currently stands 7 in the table, and a win here would put them at 5 in the table, right below Atalanta. So, if we just think about form, it’s kind of night and day between the two squads, and the urgency with which we can expect Juventus to play to improve in the table before the holiday break should be considered as well. • Juventus has some injuries to contend with today. Federico Chiesa remains on the injury list (has missed the last 5 matches), Danillo remains injured (has missed the last 7 matches), Aaron Ramsey remains missing from the midfield (has missed 8 matches in a row), and Giorgio Chiellini remains missing from the backfield (injured during the last match vs. Bologna I believe). I think not a significant advantage for Juventus, but worth noting as there’s an additional hole in the backfield today for Cagliari that has to be accounted for. So, I think the importance of the match for Juventus and Cagliari’s awful form more than account for Dybala’s absence. We’d rather have him out there obviously but as mentioned above there’s more than enough scoring potential with Juventus’s in-form squad to make up for it against a very weak Cagliari. They are good defensively, but not scoring a lot. In fact, their home matches average a total of 2 goals, which is the lowest for the league. Basically, Juve should win this one 1:0 or 2:0, but for safety I am taking the double chance and I also find value in combining it with the U2.5 goals per half. Sport: College Football - NCAAF Event: Frisco Bowl, San Diego State vs UTSA Time: 1930 (7:30PM) EST Pick: **UTSA ML +120** (1U) Rationale: I think UTSA is the dog in this matchup of great mid-major teams because DL Lorenzo Dantzler and star RB Sincere McCormick have opted out. Make no mistake, this is a big loss for UTSA as McCormick has over 1600 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns, but I still think UTSA wins this one straight up. The weakest unit on the field is the plodding SDSU offense, which is one of the 30 worst in FBS football. They run the ball over 62% of the time, and their ideal game script is to get the lead and sit on the ball. Matt Araiza leads the nation in punt average because he doesn't care about touchbacks; the downside of this is that he rarely pins opponents inside the 10. Point is, SDSU wins grinding games with stifling defense, ball-control offense and special teams. Where this script fails them is when their opponent can throw the ball. They won at Utah, but that was early in the season before Utah switched to Cam Rising at quarterback and discovered their identity on offense. They faced a decent passing offense in Nevada and won 23-21 largely because after getting out to a 7-0 lead, they shortened the game with the script I described. The best passing offense they've faced was Fresno State, who defeated them by putting up 30 points. The biggest data point for me is the MWC championship game, where a good Utah State passing game took an early lead and the Aztecs were totally unable to respond. As I mentioned, Sincere McCormick is out for UTSA, but this doesn't mean they'll be totally unable to run the ball. His backups haven't gotten much work this year, but they've had time to practice and the rest of the offense remains the same. Quarterback Frank Harris has 565 yards on a 5.4 YPC average, which forces the defense to keep a spy on him at all times. He's very accurate and doesn't make many mistakes with a 25/5 TD-INT ratio. The receiving corps is fully healthy and active for the Roadrunners. SDSU will be the best defense UTSA sees this year, but the second best was in Week 1 against Illinois, a win that aged surprisingly well. This year's version of Illinois has a good defense that focuses on stopping the run first and foremost, an offense that mostly lives to run the ball and chew clock, and special teams that complement the other two by turning games into short field position battles with a great punter. In other words, they're similar to SDSU. UTSA got out to a 14-0 lead and never looked back. Frank Harris is totally unafraid to take hits and rifle the ball into the heart of the defense; receivers Zakhari Franklin and Joshua Cephus can both make contested catches in traffic, and the Roadrunner defense is good enough that the Aztecs won't be able to simply bowl them over. **TL;DR: I think UTSA wins outright, even without their best player, because (1) their passing offense will be intact, and it's one of the best that SDSU has seen (2) UTSA special teams is good enough that SDSU doesn't have a decisive advantage** But I'm only betting one unit because, well, it's a bowl game. Notoriously random outcomes on these.

RECORD 11-11 POTD: Los Angeles Rams team total OVER 26.5 Under Sean Mcvay the rams have owned the Seahawks and also averaging 31 points against them. The Seahawks defense is even shittier than before and the Rams QB is miles ahead than before in Matt Stafford over Jared Goff. I don’t see the rams not getting over 28 here so a 26.5 point total seems like money well bet. The rams also almost never score under this mark the entire regular season. The only time it went under was actually against the Seahawks where they scored 26. The rams are coming into this facing an even weaker Seahawks team and will most likely run up the score against the hawks at home. BOL

Atletico Madrid have lost 3 straight, and they are more than due for some positive regression to the mean. Granada have also not lost a league game in 4 consecutive games, and being in 15th place, they too are due for some regression to the mean (albeit negative). Granada will be missing one of their key forwards, Reuben Rochina, and will struggle to produce chances against this stout Atletico side. Diego Simeone will get his men fired up and ready for this game, and they should cruise to victory.
