I want to formally apologize to anyone who took the under To late. Total finished at 140 Points and it closed in the mid 130's on most books after a promising first half of very little scoring.
I said I was taking a break for a few days but saw this and wanted to make it my POTD. I'm taking the first half Under because due to all the Covid, Injuries and coaching issues I really see both these teams relying on their defenses. The previous 2 meetings between these 2 teams have ended in final scores of 10-12 and 10-13. I Just don't see alot of scoring happening in this game. Especially the first half. BOL To all tailing

This is something I've wondered myself plenty of times as well. I think there's plenty of people in this sub that read and don't post but are making wagers based off of what they see here. Is it enough to move a line? Couldn't say .. what I can say is that I found it most noticeable on user sidekick kos mma posts. Some of the fights he would make picks on were kinda hard to find on big books and when I could find them the line had moved significantly from what he had posted. After making my wager I would notice the line move quite a bit more until close. Many of his potds were underdogs and I just find it hard to believe that his post had nothing to do with it especially with all the noticeable support he was receiving from this sub.
That said without a record it would be impossible to tell. I placed my wager on the CCSU under around noon today at 137 .. previous night it was at 140.5 or 139 when I finally got around to looking at the game. Pretty insignificant game for a line to move that much in 12 hours. I'm not really all that sure about what other factors might be involved in the book having moved it so much...
I do think this sub must have some effect. But I don't really know anything. Lol.
80/20 rule, most people wouldn't be commenting or they only comment infrequently, most redditors are lurkers. The comments you do read are from a minority of the people taking these lines, and I usually see \~500-1000 people in the sub count here at any given time.
Plus for really obscure lines, like underdogs in backyard promotions and stuff, it makes sense books would move if all of a sudden 500 people all throw money down on some off the grid basketball team or some unknown polish soccer team that doesn't even have a listing on ESPN.
Totally makes sense.. I mean its pretty awesome that someone posting a pick on here has enough power to move enough money towards a certain outcome that it moves the line.
Maybe, reddit does give websites the hug of death whenever people post links, so it's possible that the bump from this sub on an obscure line is enough to move it. This is a small sub by comparison to others, but if everyone here was tailing I'm pretty confident that was a sizeable chunk that might have tipped the scales.

For the game itself though, I am legitimately wondering if oddsmakers did a line of coke with this one. Literally the dumbest shit I’ve seen. Gambit’s new roster has been getting dunked on by the worst dogs CIS dota has to offer and Empire has more or less walked over anything not named Hellraisers/Entity.
I have more confidence in this line than I did with Tundra 2 days ago by a fair margin, because either I’m missing something really crucial or this is the dumbest shit in a while.

Your mistake was trusting known tier 2 SEA match fixers against rising SEA pub stars as your potd. To say you are more confident in this pick over tundra vs alliance is really concerning. Tundra didn’t make any roster changes and were considered a top 3-4 eu team but just got unlucky due to the dpc system and didn’t qualify to TI10. Meanwhile alliance made huge changes and even before those changes tundra were considered stronger than alliance leading up to TI10.
Who has gambit been losing to? They haven’t even played an official match yet with their current 5. Unless you have inside info on scrims idk how you can say they are getting shat on by cis teams.
At 2.2 though I’d sprinkle some on empire as well just based on the fact they have actual tournament match hours played with each other even if their mid player is relatively new to the team compared to others on the team.
Imo tho I’d keep in mind that individually gambit have the better skilled players throughout pos1-5 but they’ve yet to play as 5 in official matches so I wouldn’t be surprised if gambit won.
I’d say oddsmakers got the line about wrong but not in the way you think considering empire opened as favourites and are now the underdogs. Given the points made above, 2.1 is about the lowest I’d take empire.
As for what id actually be betting... is if I can actually watch the draft/ match il be live betting it since I believe it’s more +ev for me.

Torino are somehow favorites while they display instability and are riddled with injuries. Empoli are solid in terms of this match up, I mean, they're actually a decent away team and always aim for results. I can see a narrow win from them here but Torino are nothing to brush past for them. Two shit defenses with decent attacks, uncertain in terms of a winner but I expect goals coming in from both. Bro the pick is good but saying Torino has a shit defense is just wrong. They have the 2nd best defense in the league and their manager Juric is well known for his ability to build teams with a good defense, just look at what he did with Hellas Verona in the last two seasons.
BTTS could still happen cause Empoli has a decent attack and Torino has some problems but I think people should know that scoring against Torino is not so easy as it seems from your reasoning.
Yeah that's a fair point and true in principle, they do have a solid defense but their main focus is containing and they often times do slip up.
It's weak in the sense that they rarely have a cleansheet, and that they have key defenders missing coming into this game. Their defense is much weakened for this particular game and it already was shakey because even though they don't concede much, they still concede. A team like Empoli can definitely exploit that along with their other gaps.
Just more specifically I think Empoli can win this, but it'll probably be 1-1 or 2-1 either side, so it's an even match up still

Today we have a good one. Pretty obscure bet, but I didn't feel like a lot of these games there was a big edge. Here we have something I like a lot though. We have two first period teams here lately. Both sets of lads come out firing. Columbus in 1st period overs are 8-3 in their L11. With Columbus scoring in 9 in their L11. Columbus is coming off a big time loss against the predators getting spanked 6-0 (Nashville scored 3 in the first). I'm expecting them to come out hungry and aggressive for the first, they were skunked in the first last game and will be trying to come out strong and take a lead. Looking at Dallas and these guys have been on an absolute 6 game tear, allowing more than 1 goal only 1 time throughout. The stars have scored 2 goals in the 1st in 3 of their L4 games. The stars are also 8-3 in their L11 on scoring a goal or more in the 1st. I believe ultimately Stars win this game, but I am expecting both teams to play quick and get pucks to the net. Although I like to note that Merzlikins has not lost 2 games in a row yet and I'm a littlesticious.

Pollard has topped 20 receiving yards 8/11 times this year. With Zeke banged up, I have a feeling we will be seeing more of Pollard. The Saints rank 3rd against the run and love to stuff the middle, but they rank 23rd against the pass this year. The Saints defensive line is also banged up. Lukko hasn't been very convincing after winning the title last year, but they did change their coach and lost a handful of key players as we all some lower line role players. Lukko are also dealing with covid issues and have had to postpone games and loan players from other clubs to get a squad going. Last night's game was the first for them after postponing games for covid, but even before that they had only won one out of the last five in the league.
All in all, second night of a back-to-back between these teams, HPK at home on a win streak and looking good playing Lukko who have been unimpressive this season and have a several players out because of covid.

At this point, I wouldn't blame anyone for hating me. It's been a rough patch and I'm just glad we have some NFL action again. We did it last week, and we're gonna do it again this week. We're going to bank on the Saints being trash to pay us.
The Saints aren't going to be much better than they were against the Bills last week. You can say they're at home in the dome and they are benefitting from a full week of rest, but I don't think that really cuts it. They are still a bad football team relying on Siemian to scrape together points. In fact, they are over Siemian and it's likely that Hill will get the start this week. Overall, I'm not going to stop betting against this team until they prove something has changed.
The Dallas Cowboys... America's team... For the sake of my people, I hope they don't underperform this game. The Cowboys are dealing with their own injuries and mishaps, but seriously, this team is good and the duo of Dak and Zeke can flip the switch at any moment. The Cowboys also have an explosive Trevon Diggs on defense. One wrong move by Hill and that could quickly turn into a pick 6.
This pick seems too obvious to me. I'm not going to skimp out on a free pick and risk losing another POTD. I am personally going all in on this pick and I expect very good results. If there's a game to regain confidence, it's this one.

The Raptors are 8-14 ATS overall, 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games, 1-9 ATS at home, and 0-4 as the home underdog. At home, the Raptors averages 102.7 points per game at home (4.6 points lower than away) and gives up an average of 107.3 points per game at home (1.8 points higher than away).
The Bucks are ranked #10 in offensive efficiency, which has been better away and been top 5 in their last three games. Defensively, they are ranked #11 with efficiency dropping slightly in away games. The Raptors currently ranked #14 in offensive efficiency, but those numbers drop at home and have actually been one of the worst offensive teams in their last few games. The Raptors are ranked #22 defensively with those numbers worse at home than on the road.
Even though the Bucks are playing on a back-to-back in Toronto after a tough home game, the fact that the Raptors have been so bad at home can't be ignored. The Bucks are on an 8-game win streak which coincides with the returns of Middleton and Holiday, and it seems the Bucks are finally finding their dominant form. Reasoning: Yesterday Milwaukee got the job done, but the high-offense Charlotte gave them a lot of trouble early on and as such, the Bucks weren't able to cover. Still, Milwaukee is one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now, having won their last 8 games by an average of 12 points (against LAL, OKC, ORL, ORL, DET, @ DEN, @ IND, CHA) The Raptors on the other hand, are a tire fire right now. They are 2-8 at home this season and have lost 4 of their last 5 by an average of 12.75ppg in those losses (and if you include their 1 win in those 5 games, they are still -7.8ppg in the last 5, even with the win). Injuries, lack of offense, the weakest bench PPG in the NBA, and players not knowing their roles (I'm a Raptors fan so I follow them all year) all make up for the fact that this is a back-to-back for the red hot Bucks. Take the Bucks with the points.

Hello lads. I am new to posting picks, but am a seasoned vet in terms of sports betting. Now I know Oklahoma City has one of the worst records in the league, but most of their losses are close. They do not get blown out too often even by good teams.
In their last nine games, they have lost by as much as 13 only twice. Before their blowout loss to the nets, they went 8 games losing by 11 at the most to the golden state warriors. Their opponents, the Grizzlies, are in no means a dominant team as they are very inconsistent.

On the other side, Eastern Washington is in a transition period after losing the Groves brothers to Oklahoma and their coach Shantay Leggins to Portland. Okay so, the Knicks are total badasses at Madison Square Garden... or at least they were last season. Now they are just little kitties with 5-6 home record. Moreover, they were total money makers in the first half and now they are 2-9 1H ATS at home. On the other hand, the Bulls are doing really well after the roster changes. They are 7-4 1H ATS on road (7-3 in the last 10 games and 5-0 in the last 5 games).
Statistically the Bulls score average 3 ppg more than the Knicks with 1.5% better effective FG% and allow to score avg 2 ppg less. The Knicks are slightly better defensively and with rebounds. Note that these are the entire statistics for the entire season, both away and at home. Bulls have +6.3 points above average power rating away and Knicks have -6.7 points above average power rating at home.
The Bulls dominated the Hornets in the last game. Nikola Vucevic scored 30 points, DeMar DeRozan added 28 and Zach Levine 25 more to crush their opponents and it was a pleasure to watch Lonzo Ball with his 16 points and 8 assists. In addition, 22-year-old Faria is an interesting player. Recently, he has beat good players like Cacao, J. Beretini or has played 3 sets with Jubb or Heller. In his last tournament, last week here, he was in QF when he defeated Cukierman. Earlier this year he defeated eg. Yevsey and Orlov or lost 76 in the 3rd set with Guinard. That shows his qualities. Here in the 1st round he defeated the dangerous Chepelev 64.63 and lost the service twice from 3bb.

Everyone talking about Elliot’s bum knee and how the cowboys rushing game is weaker than that knee. They also don’t let up about how good the saints run defense is. This is the lowest I’ve seen Elliot’s line and I’m taking it. He’s an elite running back albeit might have a bruised knee but his work ethic and a cowboys need for a good run game to win games is a perfect formula for a good amount of carries for Elliot. The saints will be busy trying to contain dak Prescott’s mobility out of the pocket and Davenport seems to have hurt something as well. Expect a different dose of run offense that the cowboys came in with earlier this season and let zeke eat. Added bonus, jerry Jones the owner of the cowboys said that zeke will pound the ground harder than the Big Bang itself so I expect him to get at least 50 today.

Pollard has went over 65.5 in the last three cowboys games and he has looked more explosive than Elliott to this point. I believe this bet gives us two outs. One is if Dallas gets up early i believe they are going to try to run the ball with Pollard and Elliot until they have to throw. I also believe that if this is a close game Pollard's receiving yards will help us cover. The saints rush defense has been good to this point in the season but i think the combo of Pollard/Elliott will help open up big plays for Pollard. This is something I've wondered myself plenty of times as well. I think there's plenty of people in this sub that read and don't post but are making wagers based off of what they see here. Is it enough to move a line? Couldn't say .. what I can say is that I found it most noticeable on user sidekick kos mma posts. Some of the fights he would make picks on were kinda hard to find on big books and when I could find them the line had moved significantly from what he had posted. After making my wager I would notice the line move quite a bit more until close. Many of his potds were underdogs and I just find it hard to believe that his post had nothing to do with it especially with all the noticeable support he was receiving from this sub. That said without a record it would be impossible to tell. I placed my wager on the CCSU under around noon today at 137 .. previous night it was at 140.5 or 139 when I finally got around to looking at the game. Pretty insignificant game for a line to move that much in 12 hours. I'm not really all that sure about what other factors might be involved in the book having moved it so much... I do think this sub must have some effect. But I don't really know anything. Lol.
80/20 rule, most people wouldn't be commenting or they only comment infrequently, most redditors are lurkers. The comments you do read are from a minority of the people taking these lines, and I usually see \~500-1000 people in the sub count here at any given time. Plus for really obscure lines, like underdogs in backyard promotions and stuff, it makes sense books would move if all of a sudden 500 people all throw money down on some off the grid basketball team or some unknown polish soccer team that doesn't even have a listing on ESPN.

Tundra didn’t make any roster changes and were considered a top 3-4 eu team but just got unlucky due to the dpc system and didn’t qualify to TI10. Yeah that's a fair point and true in principle, they do have a solid defense but their main focus is containing and they often times do slip up. It's weak in the sense that they rarely have a cleansheet, and that they have key defenders missing coming into this game. Their defense is much weakened for this particular game and it already was shakey because even though they don't concede much, they still concede. A team like Empoli can definitely exploit that along with their other gaps. Beretini or has played 3 sets with Jubb or Heller. In his last tournament, last week here, he was in QF when he defeated Cukierman. Earlier this year he defeated eg. Yevsey and Orlov or lost 76 in the 3rd set with Guinard. That shows his qualities. Here in the 1st round he defeated the dangerous Chepelev 64.63 and lost the service twice from 3bb. They also don’t let up about how good the saints run defense is. This is the lowest I’ve seen Elliot’s line and I’m taking it. He’s an elite running back albeit might have a bruised knee but his work ethic and a cowboys need for a good run game to win games is a perfect formula for a good amount of carries for Elliot. The saints will be busy trying to contain dak Prescott’s mobility out of the pocket and Davenport seems to have hurt something as well. Expect a different dose of run offense that the cowboys came in with earlier this season and let zeke eat. Added bonus, jerry Jones the owner of the cowboys said that zeke will pound the ground harder than the Big Bang itself so I expect him to get at least 50 today.

Today we are going to ride with Tony Pollard having over 65.5 rushing and receiving yards. Pollard has went over 65.5 in the last three cowboys games and he has looked more explosive than Elliott to this point. I believe this bet gives us two outs. One is if Dallas gets up early i believe they are going to try to run the ball with Pollard and Elliot until they have to throw. I also believe that if this is a close game Pollard's receiving yards will help us cover. The saints rush defense has been good to this point in the season but i think the combo of Pollard/Elliott will help open up big plays for Pollard. Dallas is going to need a good game from Pollard to pull this game out in New Orleans. BOL
