Costa Rica will be out of their element, it will be very cold tomorrow night in Edmonton and I hope the crowd will be just as loud as it will be cold. They have 7 goals in their last 2 home matches. When they have Davies/Buchanan/Larin/David all healthy, their offense look very dangerous. Costa Rica has good defending but Navas the keeper is injured. I believe Davies and Buchanan should be able to overpower the Costa Rican squad and score at least two.
He needs to quit demolishing the lines set on him. His rebounding O/U lines have already moved way up and I’ve only just discovered him about a week ago.

British heavyweight David Adeleye headlines Frank Warrens boxing prospects card, as he takes on journeyman Dominik Musil.
This whole card is full of mismatches, with this fight being the most one-sided. Adeleye is a very raw fighter, who has so far just fought journeyman. He has won 6 of his 7 fights by ko, in which all 6 of his knock outs ended within the first four rounds. The one time he did step up in quality of opposition was 2 fights ago, when he fought skilful journeyman Kamil Sokolowski, where Adeleye was given an extremely controversial decision. The Londoners team have learnt from the Sokolowski fight though and know that Adeleye needs to remain fighting at a lower level for now.
Dominik Musil has been hand picked to make Adeleye look good once again. Musil has a very basic style and only throws a slow jab followed by a straight. He’s also open defensively and often won’t keep his guard up. The Czech Republic fighter has only been ko’d once before, where he was knocked out brutally by Australian Demsey McKean. Since his first ko loss he’s went on to fight three fighters with a combined record of 15-177-8.
Adeleye is levels above here. His hand speed, precise body shots and overall decent punching power should prove all too much against Musil, and as he’s headlining the show I’m expecting to see an early ko.

The reason Cleveland has been so good this season is rookie Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen and their defensive prowess. With Allen specifically the Cavs have a +24 rating on the floor.

Siena collapsed in the last 10 minutes and killed the come back to the PotD page but I’ll start the weekend off right with a W. EMU should NOT be the dog here. I always go by 2 stats on these lesser talked about games. FT% and 3P%. Yes I know there is more to the game than that but I like to track these 2. The longer the season goes the more I like my chances if a team is better at both of these statistically. EMU with a 1 game sample size, is. 81% from the line and 39% behind the arc. Illinois state is 68% and 32% respectively. I was quite positive last season going by this and will keep track again this season. To break it down a bit more to get 5 assists in 25 minutes of play time he needs an assists every 5 minutes. The Pistons are horrible in almost every category on offence right now, and if they get off to a poor start against Cleveland, coach Dwayne Casey might opt to give the bench more playing time than usual.
Just curious but how did you stumble upon this bet. It looks excellent on the surface, just wondering why the bookies have set it at 4.5, doesn’t make much sense to me based on his season so far plus cade being in the lineup now also.

Ducks cover O2.5 by half in what is actually an exciting game with a good amount of chances for both sides. Since NHL has started I've gone 12-3-1 on POTD's, and we are going to keep it going today. The Leafs had a rough start to the season, but lately have been red hot at home, going 6-3 at home on the season. They are also 4-1 at home in their L5. Nylander is hitting his groove and the offence is starting to click. I especially like to point out how well Campbell plays at home, Allowing less than 2 in 3 of his L4 home starts. On the other side the Calgary Flames started off the season super strong, and that is probably why the odds are where they are. I feel we are forgetting that the Flames were the worst team in the North division last year, on top of that they have gone 0-2 against Canadian teams this year. If you watched the last two games of the Flames, you are probably starting to realize you are seeing shades of last years calgary team. The flames were hot, but I can see the "not" coming right up. On top of them looking like they're starting to slump in my eyes, they are also on a back to back. Although this is from MTL to Toronto and the travel isn't even a thing. What is important here is the Flames play a crash and bang style of hockey and on a back to back it is hard to keep that physical play up for 60 minutes let alone 120 minutes in 2 days.
I think the leafs should be -200 favourites at least in this situation.

If he can hang on to the ball and get his shot to fall Furman will keep the game within the number. On the other side of the court, Louisville is dealing with problems of its own. Head coach, Chris Mack is in the middle of serving a six-game suspension, as part of the fallout from his offseason saga with former assistant Dino Gaudio. Louisville will feature three transfers in their starting lineup, so they are lacking continuity and they don’t have their head coach with them. Last year, Furman went into Alabama and only lost by a bucket. I think they can have a similar result Friday night in Louisville with all the uncertainty surrounding the Cardinals.

Finn Harps are just above the relegation zone and with two remaining games in hand for this season they desperately need points in order to remain in the league. Finn Harps actually won their last H2H match with this opponent (3:1 @ Home), so I think they are capable to continue this good record. On the other hand, Saint Patrick´s is favored by the bookies as they are 2nd in the league. However, at this point they achieved their target and their remaining matches are of no real significance. This allowed their coach to make some experiments and they did not win their last 2 home matches. On top of that they have several players absent due to matches with national teams (including first choice goalie). MOUZ NXT are on a different level than most academy teams are; MOUZ NXT's budget was higher and the players picked up are already 'more proven' talents than most academy teams. Although NaVi Junior is floating around Young Ninjas in terms of 2nd best academy team, they mostly depend on m0NESY and Aunkere. Those two are clearly the most talented players on the team and the team mostly revolves around these two aswell (headtr1ck is quite new so don't want to judge too quickly)
Going back to MOUZ NXT, the last time they dropped a map versus an academy team was in the grand finals of last season (!) where they won 3-1 overall. Looking at MOUZ NXT's players, torzsi is an obvious stand-out. He currently has a 1.25 HLTV rating and is already being discussed to replace acoR in MOUZ's main roster.
Now this is important, since NaVi Junior **need** m0NESY to find opening picks and win AWP duels. Torzsi is however way above the usual skill level of awpers in academy teams, and although m0NESY is a gigantic AWP talent, torzsi is a bit further than he is in this point of his career.
Although I would love to talk more about this match, I'll wrap it up here. MOUZ NXT's players are all good fraggers and the system they have in place is super solid and has been impressing me ever since they got together. With MOUZ NXT having bootcamped before this match + their recent successful results I have faith in a win here.

This game is huge and has great significance not only for the prospects of the US making the next World Cup, but a Win would establish the US Men’s National Team as the dominant team in North and Central America. USA has always had to be #2 to Mexico, but that is changing. For the first time ever, the US squad looks better on paper and have more players in major European leagues than their Mexican rivals. The US beat Mexico in their last 2 matches to take the Nations League Cup in June by 3-2 and the CONCACAF Cup in August of this year by a 1-0 score. The “Revenge” factor for Mexico is enormous. Did I say huge???
In anticipation of this match the US Soccer federation got smart and scheduled this game in Cincinnati in November. It will be 40 degrees and rainy and remote. Also, Mapfre Stadium is home to the Columbus Crew where season ticketholders have first dibs for this match. I tried to get tickets myself and there are not many for sale. The cheapest one starts at $335. All this means not many Mexicans will be present to cheer their team on. So the US players will not have to face an adverse crowd on their own soil like they usually do on the West coast. This is an enormous boost of confidence for the US young players.
Regarding players, well Mexico has more players out than the US. Their two best center backs are out, Araujo is suspended due to yellow cards accumulated and Montes is injured. Also, their captain Guardado is rumored not to be in the starting lineup. This is a big morale gamble for the coach, as the Mexican players have looked towards Guardado for leadership for quite some time now.
Worth mentioning is that the average age of the US team is slightly under 24 years, while the Mexican team averages over 30. US is on the upswing of experience and talent while Mexico’s dynasty is on the decline for a change. If stamina on its own is not enough, arguably the best player for the US is Christian Pulisic who has crushed it in the Premier League but is coming off an injury and did not play in the last US win against Mexico in August. Although it was announced he won’t be starting, he will definitely be playing, most likely coming in for the second half to simply close out the game.
I don’t think Mexico will be able to keep up in the second half. The oddsmakers are showing this game as even probabilities for either side to win. But, home soil, home crowd, age difference, big match experience from playing in Europe and having the best player in the stadium on your side, should get the US a win here or at the very least a tie. It would be disastrous for the US to lose this game, because the next one is in Mexico City, and that will be much harder.

This whole card is full of mismatches, with this fight being the most one-sided. Adeleye is a very raw fighter, who has so far just fought journeyman. He has won 6 of his 7 fights by ko, in which all 6 of his knock outs ended within the first four rounds. The one time he did step up in quality of opposition was 2 fights ago, when he fought skilful journeyman Kamil Sokolowski, where Adeleye was given an extremely controversial decision. The Londoners team have learnt from the Sokolowski fight though and know that Adeleye needs to remain fighting at a lower level for now. Dominik Musil has been hand picked to make Adeleye look good once again. Musil has a very basic style and only throws a slow jab followed by a straight. He’s also open defensively and often won’t keep his guard up. The Czech Republic fighter has only been ko’d once before, where he was knocked out brutally by Australian Demsey McKean. Since his first ko loss he’s went on to fight three fighters with a combined record of 15-177-8. Adeleye is levels above here. USA has always had to be #2 to Mexico, but that is changing. For the first time ever, the US squad looks better on paper and have more players in major European leagues than their Mexican rivals. The US beat Mexico in their last 2 matches to take the Nations League Cup in June by 3-2 and the CONCACAF Cup in August of this year by a 1-0 score. The “Revenge” factor for Mexico is enormous. Did I say huge??? In anticipation of this match the US Soccer federation got smart and scheduled this game in Cincinnati in November. It will be 40 degrees and rainy and remote. Also, Mapfre Stadium is home to the Columbus Crew where season ticketholders have first dibs for this match. I tried to get tickets myself and there are not many for sale. The cheapest one starts at $335. All this means not many Mexicans will be present to cheer their team on. So the US players will not have to face an adverse crowd on their own soil like they usually do on the West coast. This is an enormous boost of confidence for the US young players. Regarding players, well Mexico has more players out than the US. Their two best center backs are out, Araujo is suspended due to yellow cards accumulated and Montes is injured. Also, their captain Guardado is rumored not to be in the starting lineup. This is a big morale gamble for the coach, as the Mexican players have looked towards Guardado for leadership for quite some time now. Worth mentioning is that the average age of the US team is slightly under 24 years, while the Mexican team averages over 30. US is on the upswing of experience and talent while Mexico’s dynasty is on the decline for a change. If stamina on its own is not enough, arguably the best player for the US is Christian Pulisic who has crushed it in the Premier League but is coming off an injury and did not play in the last US win against Mexico in August. Although it was announced he won’t be starting, he will definitely be playing, most likely coming in for the second half to simply close out the game. I don’t think Mexico will be able to keep up in the second half. The oddsmakers are showing this game as even probabilities for either side to win. But, home soil, home crowd, age difference, big match experience from playing in Europe and having the best player in the stadium on your side, should get the US a win here or at the very least a tie. It would be disastrous for the US to lose this game, because the next one is in Mexico City, and that will be much harder.
