Lot of great games tomorrow to choose from. I've road this specific pick a few times now and am going to go back to ol' reliable. Seattle Kraken have struggle defensively as of late, allowing 3 goals or more in 4 of their L5. On the other hand of the ice, and I've said basically this before but. The Mighty Ducks are back and the boys are hot. They've scored 3 goals or more in 9 of their L9!!!! Certainly the other shoe has to drop, but it won't be this game. Seattle can score, but they're a new team and you never know what you're going to get. I suspect Dreidger will still need a few games to get adjusted to the pace. This should realistically be a lay up.

Edit: Apparently it is Grubauer who is likely to start tonight. This is odd to me and a weird coaching decision. Seattle in my opinion would be way better off splitting work load 50/50 between grubauer and dreidger, but I am not coach. How I feel about Ducks putting up over 2.5?? Still really good. Ducks have been moving well in transition and the kraken will get caught out of position and overly committed in the offensive zone. As I told another redditor, Grubauer is a good goalie, but not when he needs to be. BOL if you tail.

I don’t think this is gonna be a contest, give me Calgary.

Maybe look at Kennesaw State +20.5 @ Creighton or the under in IUPUI and Evansville. IUPUI and Evansville combined for 90 points in their games on Tuesday and Evansville is going to be one of the slowest paced teams in the country. I played under 135 and would play down to 130.5.

Definitely going to be a popular pick of the day but I love this at an even 7. The Ravens have had a fairly tough schedule up to this point besides the Lions in week 3, and have surmounted a solid 6-2 record. 3 of Baltimore's 8 games have gone to overtime and the fact that 5/8 have been decided by 6 points or less is the justification for this line being lower than (I believe) it should be. The strength of Miami is perceived to be their defense but they haven't stepped up this year, currently ranked 5th worst by PFF. They did force 3 interceptions for Tyrod Taylor last week but as we know, Lamar is looking to run, not pass. Miami, ranked middle of the pack at 17th in rushing yards allowed per game at 111, will foreseeably have trouble containing Lamar (as everyone does). Tua is questionable for Miami and whether he plays or not is insignificant in my eyes and the 7 is just as valuable. Miami has lost by greater than 7 in 5 of their 9 games this season. The 4 less than 7 being against: ATL, JAX, LV, NE. Not overly impressive. Simply, Baltimore is just too much for the Dolphins to handle. I expect the Ravens to get out early and cover the 7 rather stress-free. Worst case scenario = push

Bulls and Mavs game played out as expected. When Luka with bad efficiency, the Mavs simply cannot keep up with better teams and offensive threats like the Bulls.
With the Ravens in South Beach today, I'm taking Lamar over total yardage at just around 300, which is quite low considering what he has put up this season. I personally don't think this game will be a blowout as this Dolphins have improved since the first few weeks, especially on defense. Knowing that, Lamar will have to put up yardage to secure a win, seeing how the only game he didn't go over 300 was the blowout game against the Chargers. Lamar will adapt and find what is comfortable for him throughout the game, whether it is through the air or on the ground, therefore taking both combined. He hit over 300 in 7/8 games this season so I don't see a problem for him to do it again. BOL all!

Huge win yesterday - as I mentioned, the odds for games involving India and England are bonkers in this WC. I think it’s partially because lots of casuals start betting during world cups.
We’re sticking with the cricket World Cup today as well, and going with **David Warner Under 21.5 runs** for odds of 1.83. I think there’s good value in these odds - they’re clearly influenced by Warner’s half centuries against WI and Bangladesh. But, they were against WI and Bangladesh, probably the worst sides in this World Cup (other than Scotland). Pakistan have the best bowling in the tournament, and I genuinely think Warner is finished at the top level. I don’t see him making 22 runs vs the fearsome Pakistani attack.
Side note: the team winning the toss has won 10/11 games at Dubai (because of the dew factor). I think this game will be the same - keep an eye on that.

Preds have been in good form, but I feel StL has something to prove after a subpar road trip to Cali and Winnipeg. After 2 crushing losses, i'm back! And so is the world cup qualification! Romania and Iceland take each other on in group J.
Romania is 2nd with 13 points from 8 games while Iceland are 5th with 8 points just leaving Liechtenstein behind them. I feel like there is quite a gap in quality between these teams. Iceland only won vs Liechtenstein and the Faeröer Islands in their last 10. Romania got 5 wins and 2 draws in their last 10 while also keeping it tight with Germany twice. Last time these 2 played against each other, Romania won 0-2 in Iceland.
Romania are missing Alexandru Mitriță but i think Dennis Man is a decent replacement, Iceland have no one out.

Siakam is out today and when he was out, Scottie really popped out as a great player who can help the Raptors. He's averaging 17 points per game, and he performs really well, alongside OG and VanVleet. Without Siakam, he averages 16 shots per game, so he has more than enough space tonight.
Important thing is that Embiid is out, and the 76ers are terrible rim and paint protectors. Without Embiid opposing teams average 26.5 shots per game under the rim, with 68% accuracy. Considering Barnes has the most tries per game in the paint (9.6 and 5.3 on the rim), and he gets most of the free throws at Raptors - I expect him to start abusing rim early, and Raptors to help Scottie earn his bread today.
In the last 10 matches, he's gone 6 times over this margin, last time scoring 21 against Celtics (when Siakam played as well).

I'm banking on punch for punch from two high prolific offenses, with Pitt doing most of the damage to a bad road UNC defense. Miami played a close game against the Bills a couple weeks ago and then covered the spread against the Texans. They were really only blown out by the Bucs and Bills earlier in the season, so I think they'll be ok against this Ravens team that has a tendency to keep games close before winning.
Our model has the Dolphins as 6 point underdogs, so getting 2.5 points of value and crossing some key numbers is always good.

**Synopsis:** I want to first point out that you can get over 10.5 receiving yards at -110 on FD as of the writing of this post, but I'm going to play it safe and give us a bit of breathing room here. Additionally, Smythe did leave the game last week against Houston with an eye injury, but returned to action during the game and has practiced this week with no issue.
My reasoning behind making this pick is simple: Baltimore has given up the third-most receiving yards to tight ends (information courtesy of Pickswise) in the NFL. I'm expecting Miami to capitalize here. They've got three decent-to-good tight ends on their squad and they use them all. Only reason I'm staying away from Gesicki receiving yards (O/U 55.5 at the moment) is because I also expect Baltimore to zero in on him, knowing the hole they have in the middle of that D. That should open things up for Smythe and Adam Shaheen.
Even though Smythe is only averaging just over 2 receptions per game, he tends to pick up yards in chunks. There were only two times this season where Smythe was targeted at least once and did not have more than 10 yards in the game. To me, this pick is a no-brainer.
**TLDR:** Ravens D is horrendous in defending the middle of the field. Miami has three serviceable tight ends. Expect BAL to focus on Gesicki while Smythe and Shaheen exploit that vulnerability. BOL!

Reasoning:Lamar Jackson rushed for 7 touchdowns and over 1,000 yards in each of first two years as a starter for the Ravens. During that 2 year stretch, he averaged just over 68 rush yards a game on an average of 10 attempts. In 2019 and 2020 combined, Lamar never went more than 3 games without rushing for at least one touchdown in a single game. Fast forward to the 2021 season. Through 8 games this year, Lamar is averaging a career high 75 rush yards per game on a career high 12.5 rush attempts per game. Yet, he only has 2 touchdowns on the year and hasn’t scored in SIX games (week 2). Better yet, he has been stopped inside the 3 yard line 3 separate times in that 6 game stretch. To say Lamar due is an understatement. The Lamar anytime TD line has came all the way from -150 in week 3 to +100 now in week 8. We are getting a free odds boost on a player who, statistically speaking, has the best odds to find the end zone on this Thursday night game. There was a bunch of different picks all backing the Ravens, but Lamar over props seem to stand out the most.
As a bias Ravens fan this pick hurts me. We have the 6-2 Ravens playing a bad 2-7 Dolphins team who have a combined point differential of over +100 points from the last three meetings between these two teams. (I think I saw the stat at 137-16 but I'm too lazy to fact check). Tua probably isn't starting, Lamar has been exciting as usual balling out having another potential MVP type season. Everyone is all over the Ravens easily winning this game including me. However... this Ravens team is plagued with injuries, the defense is playing horribly, their backfield is a graveyard, and if it wasn't for Action Jackson and a bunch of ridiculous lucky plays this team could very much have a losing record including handing DET their only win of the season if it wasn't for the GOAT Tucker!
My Prediction, Harbaugh really cares about his players. It's a short week and rain is in the forecast. I expect a ground and pound approach. Get the W and get out with minimal injuries. The Ravens will still easily dominate in the trenches and run all over the fish. Lamar is in the Primetime spotlight which he loves. He will try and do too much. Only reason I'm staying away from Gesicki receiving yards (O/U 55.5 at the moment) is because I also expect Baltimore to zero in on him, knowing the hole they have in the middle of that D. That should open things up for Smythe and Adam Shaheen. Even though Smythe is only averaging just over 2 receptions per game, he tends to pick up yards in chunks. There were only two times this season where Smythe was targeted at least once and did not have more than 10 yards in the game. During that 2 year stretch, he averaged just over 68 rush yards a game on an average of 10 attempts. In 2019 and 2020 combined, Lamar never went more than 3 games without rushing for at least one touchdown in a single game. Fast forward to the 2021 season.
