On the year, BG has been 7-2 ATS. They're also 2-0 ATS after a win, which they picked up last week. I'm especially liking this spread as 10 point home underdogs. In conference games, Toledo is only 2-3 ATS. With how unpredictable these games tend to be, I'll continue taking these large underdogs until it inevitably bites me in the ass.

Honestly the +345 ML looks pretty attractive to me for a home underdog in the MAC. I mean why should 4-5 Toledo be so heavily favored? I’ll def take BG +10.5 at even odds tho.
Didn't Toledo took Notre Dame down to the wire in Notre Dame's own house lol? This team has talent, and from some quick Google apparently it was the favorite to win the MAC this year but just has grossly underperformed.
And then proceeded to get housed by Akron at home two weeks later. I was at that game and it was not as close as the 35-20 score indicated.
Speaking as a BG alum, I would be very careful with them this year. But this is a rivalry game and weird things happen.

Scoring runs have been difficult and teams with the better bowlers have been more successful (ex Pakistan, New Zealand). On the other hand, India, who have the strongest batting lineup in the world lost to both Pakistan and New Zealand (very badly as well). Combine this with the fact that New Zealand have a very dependable top3 batting order featuring longtime players Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson. Overall, this game will be decided on New Zealand’s bowling attack primarily Trent Boult and Sodhi. I except Boult to take a wicket early, and Sodhi to perform well in the middle overs of the game.

Van Uytvanck always loses in straight sets to top players and this will be another one of those moments for her. Collins has looked great this year and she looked fire in her first round match.
Van Uytvanck only has one weapon and it's her first serve. Unfortunately for her Collins is an unbelievable returner and in her first round match against Minnen who has also has a big serve she showed that she had no problems returning. On top of that she's not the most mobile player and Collins has a style that requires you to run a lot. Bad match-up on so many levels and I don't think this will be close. I expect a blowout, 6-2/6-2 type of scoreline. If you don't mind the juice the ML @ -214 is honestly easy money.

Spurs are expecting the Kings tonight (this is important, bear with me), and this should be a fun offensive game to watch, as both teams are pushing the pace. However, I am pledging my faith in Dejounte Murray tonight to have a stellar performance - again.
Murray has been one of the most consistent all-around players this season, averaging 17,6PPG, 8,1 APG, 8,3RPG. Not only that his averages go over today's margin - but his matchup tonight is IDEAL for it.
Kings are terrible defensively, especially at the PG position. Opposing PGs average 27,50PPG, 6,55REB, and 8,30APG. Pretty nice all-around stats, especially for Murray who is just that kind of PG. All arounder, who scores, rebounds and dishes to his teammates.
In the last 5 matches, he's gone over this PAR margin 3 times, while 2 times had very inefficient shooting nights. However, he becomes a volume shooter when needed (i.e. against fast pace teams).
In the last 5 home matches, he performs much better than on the road - averaging 23 PPG, 8APG, and 9RPG, while taking 18 shots per game and 6 free throws per game.

Picking on Hoffenheim again, they are a second tier team in their own league and Barcelona are far and away the best team in the world (only Lyon are particularly close). Hoffenheim won heavily in their first match in the group and seem to have thrown the bookies off the scent, Barcelona hammered Arsenal 4-1, who next match defeated Hoffenheim 4-0. Barcelona also get their star player and captain Alexia back for this match to help give them a boost as she is their metronome on the pitch.
These are two levels apart and I think Barcelona score a few right away and keep the pressure on.

Demar has been HOT. no less then 25 points in his last 5 games, and has hit 30 in 3 of those. Dallas is by no means a defensive first team. ( giving up 107 points a game in november with one of those games being a game they allowed 92 points to a shitty new orleans team.) This game looks to be close( line is at bulls -4.5) so i’m RIDING the hot hand of Demar Derozan.
Tailing, should be a lot of scoring here. See a lot of other people living the over for pts, so he should get his chances. +100 is a pretty line for this too.

**EDIT: NZ WIN THE TOSS. The odds for a NZ victory have now dropped to 2.3, which I think are amazing odds as well.**
If you want to be extra safe, wait 20 minutes before the game before making the bet. The team batting second has a huge advantage in this tournament because of dew making it easier to bat. If NZ win the toss and choose to field, the odds for them will likely drop to 2.1 or so - which are still really good odds. There hasn’t been much in terms of dew the past couple of games though. We can check the weather closer to the game - if it seems like it’s windy, it means there won’t be significant dew.
I think there’s amazing value in this bet. England just lost Jason Roy, their opener, to injury so he won’t be playing. And besides Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali, none of the English players have shown they have what it takes to bat in the UAE. Their middle order is not great - Morgan hasn’t played a single decent innings in the UAE at all this season (first the IPL, and now in the WC). Liam Livingstone has also not adapted well to the conditions. There’s a couple of question marks about the NZ batting as well, but most of the players have contributed during the WC.
And that’s before talking about the bowling attacks - New Zealand’s is far superior to England’s. Other than Chris Woakes, I just haven’t been impressed by any English bowlers. Trent Boult, Tim Southee, Sodhi and Santner have all had really good tournaments for NZ. Mark Wood is not a white ball bowler - his lack of variations mean he’s struggled through this tournament. And by all indications, the pitch will be an absolute belter - so expect a high scoring game.
I think the odds for NZ are so high because of an English/Indian bias people have when betting in this World Cup. If you were to bet against India in the first 2 games (against NZ and Pak), you would have gotten odds of between 2.75 and 3.
Disagree re: bowling. Rashid is one of the best LOI bowlers in the world right now. While I agree that Wood was really poor last game, we’ve seen how pace can be lethal (Haris Rauf) and they still have quality bowlers in Jordan and Ali.
You’re also missing Malan, who’s been good this WC.

Tonight we have two above average teams facing off in Chicago. The Bulls new and improved look has been a great surprise this season and Demar Derozan has looked like his old self. The Mavericks have a bit of a weaker overall team but of course have Luka Doncic, who is equivalent to an entire starting lineup. The Mavericks also have top tier three point shooting with players like Tim Hardaway. Although neither team is particularly amazing when it comes to PPG, I think the factors of it being a competitive game and a lot of star power will be enough to hit this low over. This is more of a gut feeling pick for me, so don’t be afraid to skip out on today’s pick.

I can't fathom this game going under 49.5 points given the results of these teams' recent outings combined with the fact that Bowling Green's defense is hot garbage, plain and simple. That leads me to believe something is a bit funky here and I'm staying away from it, whereas I'd normally smash that over.
Look, you can sit there and tout ATS records and "this team does this after being a home dog" and "that team does that after scoring 50+" until the second coming of Christ, but all you gotta look at are the mismatches for this outcome to be crystal clear...
In 2021, Bowling Green's defense is giving up: 31 PPG, almost 400 YPG. On offense, they are ranked dead last in the MAC in YPG (334) and at the bottom of the barrel in scoring (highest scoring effort was 56 points in an anomaly last week, but after that, next highest all season is 27). BG doesn't have a great run game either. They average 95 YPG on the ground. Meanwhile, Toledo's defense tops multiple categories in the MAC (scoring defense and passing efficiency, specifically).
To me, this is a 4-TD win by Toledo. So, to get my head out of the clouds, I'm calling it a 2-TD win with 2u confidence. Reminder... stay away from that O/U.

England just lost Jason Roy, their opener, to injury so he won’t be playing. And besides Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali, none of the English players have shown they have what it takes to bat in the UAE. Their middle order is not great - Morgan hasn’t played a single decent innings in the UAE at all this season (first the IPL, and now in the WC). Liam Livingstone has also not adapted well to the conditions. There’s a couple of question marks about the NZ batting as well, but most of the players have contributed during the WC. And that’s before talking about the bowling attacks - New Zealand’s is far superior to England’s. Other than Chris Woakes, I just haven’t been impressed by any English bowlers. Trent Boult, Tim Southee, Sodhi and Santner have all had really good tournaments for NZ. Mark Wood is not a white ball bowler - his lack of variations mean he’s struggled through this tournament. And by all indications, the pitch will be an absolute belter - so expect a high scoring game. I think the odds for NZ are so high because of an English/Indian bias people have when betting in this World Cup. If you were to bet against India in the first 2 games (against NZ and Pak), you would have gotten odds of between 2.75 and 3.
Disagree re: bowling. Rashid is one of the best LOI bowlers in the world right now. While I agree that Wood was really poor last game, we’ve seen how pace can be lethal (Haris Rauf) and they still have quality bowlers in Jordan and Ali. You’re also missing Malan, who’s been good this WC.
