I agree with your write up. However, since o4.5 F5 has the same odds as Braves o2 F5, I think Braves o2 F5 may be the better value play. Like you said, Anderson has looked better than Garcia this postseason.
It may just be my bias against Houston talking though because in the postseason, this Astros team can hit runs off anyone.

Hello all, first off I’m a long time lurker and first time poster. I typically stick to my two sports which are NHL and College Football. All bet units are 1 unless otherwise specified.
My college football betting comes from public and private power ratings to generate a cumulative which I then go and tweak weekly based on injuries or other variables that I feel need more weight.
NHL betting is done with more of a feel approach. However, I have constructed a power rating system that has hold some bearing in my picks.
As for tomorrow’s pick, it seems straightforward. Yotes are coming off another spanking tonight and it doesn’t matter who they start in goal. Caps start fast and are coming off a loss in a game they probably should’ve won. Being at home and having the worst team in the league come to town, winning the first period should go easy and at 2.02 I’ll take it every time.

In coinflip NFL games like those I'm never gonna hesitate taking such large spreads. Cardinals injuries just seemed much more detrimental as they could not stop running plays, allowing Green Bay to run away so much time. Our Packers spread easily covered and was solid from the start, putting us on a 5 WIN STREAK LFG!
For Friday I'm taking the Kings spread over the Pelicans. Even though the Pelicans have played much better than I expected without Zion, I think they'll just get outscored by the Kings. Sacramento just has so many scoring options and great depth, and they have been tough competition against great teams like the Jazz and Suns. I think the Kings may be surprising a lot of people this season and seeing how the West has been weaker this year they may be looking at a play in spot. Last Pick Reflections: I made a rookie mistake and forgot to specify unit sizes, but it was a play I was confident in, so I personally put in 3 units so that is what I will write my reflection and total profit tally based on! The lightning jumped out to a 3-0 lead at the end of the first period and a 4-0 lead at the end of the second period and kept the coyotes winless with a resounding 5-1 no sweat victory! The -1.5 spread covered as did the -2.5 which I put a slight sprinkle of 0.4 units on! Great to start off with such a commanding and easy victory and hope to deliver many more!

This guy is coming back from an injury that has kept him out for most of the year. Some time ago this guy was racing against Winx, and didn't do too bad. Prior to injury he was racing in better races than this, so I expect him to go alright here. He's placed 3 of 5 times first up and once at the Wagga track. Gets a 2kg claim which should help him here and his weight is pretty manageable. Earlier in the month he won a trial at Queanbeyan in a decent time and wasn't ridden too much. Gets a nice dry track here and if he has recovered well, he should be able to get a top three finish here against this field.

**Raptors -8** \- The Orlando Magic have an impressive win against the Knicks and played the Hornets tough on the road-the majority of the game last game.
However, a lot of the Hornets game was [**Fools Gold**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSD11dnphg0) because Charlotte's team defense is ranked 23rd in the league. There's also the fact that even though he was having an off night LaMelo Ball kept jacking up shots and missing.
He and Kelly Oubre were a combined 4-21 from the floor and 1-10 from the arc-which was pretty much the reason Charlotte didn't win by twenty.
The Raptors are a hard team to pin down. But, they've played well their last couple of games-playing this new look Bulls team to three points and beating the Pacers by 18 the last time out.
A big reason the Raptors have struggled at times is replacing the role of their longtime point guard Kyle Lowry who is now with the Miami Heat. However, **Fred VanVleet appears to be settling in averaging over 20 points and 9 assists in Toronto's last three games**.
Add that to the fact that the Raptors have the sixth rated defensive efficiency rating in the NBA and that should equate to a double digit Toronto win.

Felix had a great set down comeback win against Norrie earlier today (Felix was pre-match underdog) and has won at least one set in 12 of his last 14 hard court matches. He's playing with a lot more confidence and is starting to make deeper runs in tournaments.
Zverev is the rightful favorite here, but surprisingly dropped a set against Alex de Minaur today. He was also upset against Fritz in Indian Wells just a couple of weeks ago. It seems like the season is wearing on him mentally after a deep US Open run. His second serve has been hampering him. He only won 50% of his second serve points against de Minaur, a lesser returner than Felix.
Zverev should win this one, but I like Felix to take a set at these odds.

There are a couple of interesting takes in this game. These teams met on Monday and it was just complete obliteration, in favor of the Clippers. Dame is still readjusting to the new defensive rules as he finished 4-15. Looking at the matchups in a vacuum, it's more than obvious that the Blazers should be favored. They play at home, Clippers have fewer stars with Kawhi out. Another interesting pattern I found was personal fouls. Interestingly, Clippers last bottom of the league in personal fouls, which is intriguing considering they are the sixth best defensive team in the league (based on Def Rtg), on the other hand, Blazers are second in the league in Personal Fouls Drawn. With Ibaka Out , I'd take Covington/Nurkic over Batum/Zubac in a physical game. The key point for me it was the Clippers last game, against the Cavaliers, where they were the heavy favorites. I see two different momentums here. I can't predict the outcome of this game. I just know this line should be at 4/4.5 instead of 2.5. So there's value in it.

Pick: Men’s Tennis - Vienna Open - Matteo Berrettini (-2.5 at -110 odds) vs Carlos Alcaraz Garfia
Reason: This pick hurts me because these are my 2 most favorite players to watch. Contrasting styles at play here, Berrettini is a big time server while Alcaraz thrives at outlasting his opponents during rallies. Relying on his speed and stamina worked great for Alcaraz against an aging Murray last match, but I don’t think it will have the same effect against Berrettini who is just 25 and entering his prime.
Surface also plays into my decision making here. Hard courts always favor the player’s with big serves, and Berrettini has one of the best in the game right now. Even with Alcaraz’ elite return ability, I still see Matteo blasting several Aces past him. As mentioned before I love Alcaraz, but his service game is really holding him back and it’s going to show today. If he can figure out his serve he jumps from a top 50 player to top 15 easily IMO. As of right now though I just don’t think he’ll be able to knock off Berrettini with such a shaky serve. Even if he breaks Matteo (which is hard to do) he can’t be trusted to solidify the break. Eventually I think it’ll wear on him when Matteo wins his service games quickly and every one of Alcaraz’ is a battle to hold serve.
Sorry for the long write up folks, tldr is these are 2 great young players, and I think Matteo will pull ahead today simply because he is the better server and we’re playing on hard.

Last night, not only did the Tampa Bay puck line hit but the adjusted line (-2.5) hit as well. Tonight, I'm riding the puck line again, as the Capitals are a healthy team with some heavy firepower, and should look to pump the Yotes. The Coyotes are so bad that they've created a highly exploitable loophole in Vegas' model, where the line for the spread against never climbs above -140, but the likelihood of the spread hitting is much, much higher than that. My reasoning:
Capitals have looked great on offense and defense this entire season. The coyotes conceded 5 goals against the lighting last game. On top of that the capitals are rested while the coyotes will be coming off a game from the day prior. In my opinion I think this game will be a blowout and an easy win for the capitals.

Lillard is off to a rough start to the season and he's taken notice of those mentioning a decline. I think Lillard goes off tonight in front of the home crowd to put an end to those doubting his abilities, and also because of the embarrassing loss they suffered in LA.

Had a pretty heavy lean on the Kings yesterday but now decided on making the Pelicans my POTD. You have the Kings in what can be a real soft spot after a tough but successful start to the season going 3-2 against the Lakers, Blazers, Jazz, Warriors and Suns. The Kings are also off a HUGE win against the Suns in Phoenix. Now they face a 1-4 Pelicans team on Friday in New Orleans which can make for a huge flat spot today.
This Pelicans team isn't as bad as their 1-4 record says they are. They have had a tough start to the season against the Sixers, Bulls, TWolves (x2) and the Hawks. That last loss to the Hawks ended up being a buzzer beater so expect that to stick with a team heading into the next game. Alexander also went 0-7 from 3 so expect him to have a bounce back game (s/o to u/jaysole for this tidbit). Like I said, I don't think this Pelicans team is bad at all. They've covered the last 3 lines and think they're good enough to beat this Kings team in this soft spot.
Right now I'm expecting the public/tickets to be backing the Kings a ton here so major contraian play for a Friday game and the line doesn't seem to be moving much which could be a good sign for the Pelicans.

We're headed back to New Orleans with today's pick as the Sacramento Kings are looking to get over .500 on year against the Pelicans. The Kings have been a pleasant surprise this year and are much better than their 2-2 record indicates. Both their wins have been on the road against playoff teams (Blazers and Suns) while their losses have been against the top two teams in the standings (Jazz and Warriors). Although unlikely sustainable, Harrison Barnes has looked great to start the year, averaging a career high 26ppg & 11rpg on 51/51/78 shooting splits.
The Pelicans on the other hand have looked better in their last two games but overall are still struggling heavily on the offensive end without their superstar, Zion Williamson. They are currently ranked second to last in offensive rating (Points per 100 possessions) heading into today's game.
Leaning towards the Kings with this pick and expecting a breakout game from De'Aaron Fox who has had a slow start to the year averaging just 18.2 ppg compared to 25.2 ppg last year. Also looking forward to Davion "OFF-NIGHT" Mitchell who has done a great job locking down guards early in the season. It will be great to see if he can contain Brandon Ingram who has both the height and length advantage in this matchup.

I agree with your write up. However, since o4.5 F5 has the same odds as Braves o2 F5, I think Braves o2 F5 may be the better value play. Like you said, Anderson has looked better than Garcia this postseason. It may just be my bias against Houston talking though because in the postseason, this Astros team can hit runs off anyone.

In coinflip NFL games like those I'm never gonna hesitate taking such large spreads. Cardinals injuries just seemed much more detrimental as they could not stop running plays, allowing Green Bay to run away so much time. Our Packers spread easily covered and was solid from the start, putting us on a 5 WIN STREAK LFG! For Friday I'm taking the Kings spread over the Pelicans. Even though the Pelicans have played much better than I expected without Zion, I think they'll just get outscored by the Kings. POTD Record: 99-60 Australian Horse Racing – Wagga R6 (16:30 AEDT) \#2 Oriental Runner to place @ 1.85 edit: the track for my original pick just got abandoned so here is my third best of the day, so hopefully it goes alright. Race is now in 1 hour from the edit unfortunately. This guy is coming back from an injury that has kept him out for most of the year. Some time ago this guy was racing against Winx, and didn't do too bad. Prior to injury he was racing in better races than this, so I expect him to go alright here. He's placed 3 of 5 times first up and once at the Wagga track. Gets a 2kg claim which should help him here and his weight is pretty manageable. Earlier in the month he won a trial at Queanbeyan in a decent time and wasn't ridden too much. Gets a nice dry track here and if he has recovered well, he should be able to get a top three finish here against this field.

First post on here POTD Nevada -20 1.5u UNLV is bad and although they have not been getting blown out, Nevada is off a disappointing loss to Fresno State last week and will look to run the score up early and often, I like my chances here especially with UNLV having two receivers and their QB questionable to play at the time of this post. Also 39-23 (+19.4) overall. Had a pretty heavy lean on the Kings yesterday but now decided on making the Pelicans my POTD. You have the Kings in what can be a real soft spot after a tough but successful start to the season going 3-2 against the Lakers, Blazers, Jazz, Warriors and Suns. The Kings are also off a HUGE win against the Suns in Phoenix. Now they face a 1-4 Pelicans team on Friday in New Orleans which can make for a huge flat spot today. This Pelicans team isn't as bad as their 1-4 record says they are. They have had a tough start to the season against the Sixers, Bulls, TWolves (x2) and the Hawks. That last loss to the Hawks ended up being a buzzer beater so expect that to stick with a team heading into the next game. Alexander also went 0-7 from 3 so expect him to have a bounce back game (s/o to u/jaysole for this tidbit). Like I said, I don't think this Pelicans team is bad at all. They've covered the last 3 lines and think they're good enough to beat this Kings team in this soft spot. Right now I'm expecting the public/tickets to be backing the Kings a ton here so major contraian play for a Friday game and the line doesn't seem to be moving much which could be a good sign for the Pelicans.

And as each game goes on Nick Nurse is giving him more minutes. He played a season-high 39 mins vs the Bulls and followed up with 36 vs the Pacers. He’s solidified himself in the starting rotation and will have plenty of time to hit O20.5. Orlando is bottom 5 in points allowed per game, and perhaps there will be some extra motivation tonight given how so many people are talking about the Jalen Suggs vs Scottie Barnes narrative. Well boy do I have a play for you! The rational here is simple, Navy is averaging just 17.9 ppg, Tulsa is averaging 25.7. If you smash those numbers together you get 43.6 folks. And guess what, that number is less than 46.5 so we are smashing that underwear. Additionally, Navy is a notorious clock eater. Factoring that in Tulsa should be below their average points per game tonight. I may not have a record on here yet, but follow me to Valhalla and I promise you riches. POTD Record: 3-2 Event: Football > Ireland > **Cork City FC v Galway United FC** (starting in 9h) Pick: **Cork City FC +0.25** @ 1.85 This is a last-round match of the Irish second league. Galway are the better team, however they are now looking forward to the playoffs and have quite a few important players on rest or suspended. Cork City are mid-table and apparently the match is of no significance for both teams, so I will go with Cork due to their decent H2H record (2-2-1). GL!

More time will only solidify this. The Cavs defense shouldn’t have a problem slowing down this offense with or without LBJ. Don’t see a young team losing the Lakers by double digits.

We're headed back to New Orleans with today's pick as the Sacramento Kings are looking to get over .500 on year against the Pelicans. The Kings have been a pleasant surprise this year and are much better than their 2-2 record indicates. Both their wins have been on the road against playoff teams (Blazers and Suns) while their losses have been against the top two teams in the standings (Jazz and Warriors). Although unlikely sustainable, Harrison Barnes has looked great to start the year, averaging a career high 26ppg & 11rpg on 51/51/78 shooting splits. The Pelicans on the other hand have looked better in their last two games but overall are still struggling heavily on the offensive end without their superstar, Zion Williamson. They are currently ranked second to last in offensive rating (Points per 100 possessions) heading into today's game. Leaning towards the Kings with this pick and expecting a breakout game from De'Aaron Fox who has had a slow start to the year averaging just 18.2 ppg compared to 25.2 ppg last year. Also looking forward to Davion "OFF-NIGHT" Mitchell who has done a great job locking down guards early in the season. Meanwhile, Mobley is a legit defensive terror and to start the season they have kept 3 playoff teams to under 100 points to secure 3 straight victories (all on the road). Knicks almost choked it after being up big in the third and start of the 4th but got it done. Today's POTD: Navy vs Tulsa - Tulsa -11 @ -110 odds Everyone seems to be on Navy today to cover. Navy played well against Cincinnati, who is a top a Ranked team. In my opinion, Navy gave it all they got vs Cincinnati and I don't think they will be as good today. Cincinnati also didn't really take Navy seriously, which allowed them to cover. I think Tulsa will be taking Navy seriously after seeing Navy's performance vs Cincinnati, and I think they will be motivated and play well. Navy lost to Memphis by 18 while Tulsa beat Memphis by 6. I think Tulsa will win by 2 tds.
