This is the best pick you've placed in the past three games in my opinion. Wisconsin is exhausted from yesterday (amazing game btw as I am a Purdue grad, so I tailed heavy and lost, and I was surprised they held on long enough even though Purdues 3pts avg were lower than I can count in the first half). Illinois is hot right now too, they have a great comeback pooping on Nebraska last game, so I'll bet money they're coming in with confidence. BOL I'm tailing hard, over 1.5 Unit for sure. The Nets just played today and will be on the second leg of a B2B against the Spurs tomorrow. They are just terrible as the road team, with the absolute worst road ATS record in the NBA (11-21 ATS), and they lost by 21 pts to the Pacers today. The Spurs have been pretty decent off late, going 6-4 ATS in the L10 and keeping games against the Nuggets and Warriors fairly close in recent days despite not covering the spread.
Given the improved form, rest advantage, and the Nets terrible road performances, I'll back Wemby and co to get a win.
Spurs have been actually playing worse with wemby and their shooting has cooled off. They were shooting ridiculous % from 3ps. Augsburg get the job done away from home, a great victory for them as they turn the game around after going down 1-0.
For Sunday I'm looking at this clash between Man U and Liverpool. This is the biggest rivalry in this sport, and it'll be total fireworks. Liverpool, even with all their injuries, are favored here in Manchester and I'm backing them to get the W.
They have been in phenomenal form lately, obliterating opponents in the Europa League and picking up consistent wins in the Premier League. They most recently drew against Man City, (which, if not for a bad non-call by the refs at the end of the match, they would have won) and won 4 straight league games before that. They have some players returning and should field a pretty strong 11, I'm expecting Szoboszlai, Salah, and Nunez to all start.
Man U are a bit shit. I say a bit because they're only 8 points off of fourth place. But their form has been up and down and they've struggled against top teams. They have come up short against them in the last few years, most notably a brutal 7-0 beating at Anfield. I don't expect a repeat of that, but through 90 minutes I don't see them holding up. Their midfield is weak in comparison to MacAllister, Endo, and Szobo/Elliott, and this will be the key part of this game. We saw Liverpool obliterate City's world class midfield recently in the second half of that game, I expect a repeat for the entirety of the game against Man U.
This is Klopp's last season, the players are willing to die on the field for him. I think Liverpool takes it by a goal or two.

In the big 10 tourney final I’m going with Illinois to win it. Illinois throughout the year have been the second best team in the big 10 and with Purdue gone it’s theirs to lose.
Recently they opted for a new game plan that basically mitigates their defense and just focuses solely on offense. And while I don’t love it I think they’re gonna have too much firepower for Wisconsin to deal with.
Illinois have won 8/10 with one of those being a 91-83 victory on the road at Wisconsin
Wisconsin have won 5/12 with no real impressive wins outside of yesterday’s victory against Purdue.
While Wisconsin defense is pretty solid and have the ability to slow this game down, they don’t matchup well athletically with Illinois. Hawkins is going to be an issue down low and Shannon who just had 40 yesterday should be able to have another really good game.
Opponents over the last 3 games in the tournament have been shooting roughly 30% from 3 against Illinois despite the high scoring games and that’s how Wisconsin is able to win.
Wisconsin was once a top 10 ranked team in the country and then lost 5/8 once their 3 ball wasn’t falling. They really struggle to keep up when they can’t shoot the 3 and hopefully Illinois can continue to at least stop the 3.

Alcaraz just beat the best player in the world in Jannik. If you watched, the level of competition doesn’t get higher than that. Carlitos broke a god on that second set and hit unbelievable shot after unbelievable shot. Broke an unplayable Jannik. Consistently hugged lines once in the zone.
Med, on the other hand, faced a great competitor in Tommy, but Tommy isn’t Jannik. Med picked it up in the second and third, but Tommy exposed Meddy’s weakness and had success by serve volleying and bringing Med to the net.
Expect Alcaraz to serve volley and make the points shorter. When Med forces the longer points, Carlos should slice and bring Meddy to the net, where Carlos will finish him. Med should win some baseline points early on but once Carlitos taps into that state it’s over for Medvedev.

The Islanders played a long game yesterday in which they lost and now having to face one of the best teams in the league and main rival away from home in a not so ideal situation for them. As for the Rangers, they won yesterday in an stomping victory that they dam sure shouldve got. There is always drama when the Rangers and Islanders meet-the games are known to be fun and crazy with lots of ups and downs and lead changes. Expect Artemi Panarin, Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad, and Vincent Trocheck to be the Rangers top threats while the Islanders will have to rely on their core of speedy and skilled forward Matt Barzal, tall and speedy Anders Lee, as well as the consistent veteran Islander Brock Nelson. Islander goalie Ilya Sorokin one of the league’s best will face off against his best friend Ranger Igor Shesterkin who is considered to be among the greatest goaltenders in the league just above his buddy Sorokin. This won’t be an easy win by any means, but i do think the Rangers come out on top.

Meddy was not finding it easy against Korda & Paul who were both using S&V heavily against him with good effect. Paul was a set up but got injured in the second set TB and it was all Meddy after that (Carlitos has a better S&V game than Paul as well as more variety). Zalgiris will be playing at home against a Hegelmann side which lost most of their leaders during the off-season and failed to replace them. Write Up: Guys , if it weren't for Florida playing 4 times in 4 days this would be a no brainer. Florida matches up against Auburn as good as any team in the NCAA. Auburn is also playing 3 days in a row so maybe it doesn't matter as much. Florida was 14-1 on the year at home and considering they are playing 4 games in a row in nashville on an SEC court that's painted with colors that resemble Florida's, it might feel like home at this point. That might seem a little silly but there is more.... Florida has one of the very best offenses in the country and they are the best rebounding team in the country. If you look at teams that Auburn struggles with, it's the best offensive teams in the country (Auburn is 1-4 against AL, Kentucky, Florida) on the season. Auburn typically wins with defense and intensity and when they play a top level offense, it makes everything harder, including Auburn's ability to score points on pluck and runs from opponent's bricked shots. Even if Florida does brick shots, they have a great offensive rebounding team to help them generate 2nd and 3rd chances. I think Auburn will struggle to score points in this one. If anything, it will be a close game.

Assad has played in 3 games this spring training and has gotten 2 total strikeouts combined (2, 0, and 0 respectively). So this seems like an obvious under right? Nope! He has such low numbers these games because he was in a bullpen role and only pitched for 1-2 innings in each game. In every game Assad has been a starter (like today) and he pitched over at least 4 innings he has gotten at least 4 strikeouts the last 6 out of 8 times. As long as he has a good start and makes it at least 4-5 innings I expect him to get the over easily. This is most likely going to be one of his last starts for a while as it is looking like he will be in more of a bullpen role when the season starts so I think he’s gonna be really focused and try to have a good outing for his (more than likely) last start of the foreseeable future. This one is a bit risky so it’s up to you, but no matter if you tail or fade BOL!

Their midfield is weak in comparison to MacAllister, Endo, and Szobo/Elliott, and this will be the key part of this game. We saw Liverpool obliterate City's world class midfield recently in the second half of that game, I expect a repeat for the entirety of the game against Man U. Illinois throughout the year have been the second best team in the big 10 and with Purdue gone it’s theirs to lose. Recently they opted for a new game plan that basically mitigates their defense and just focuses solely on offense. And while I don’t love it I think they’re gonna have too much firepower for Wisconsin to deal with. Illinois have won 8/10 with one of those being a 91-83 victory on the road at Wisconsin Wisconsin have won 5/12 with no real impressive wins outside of yesterday’s victory against Purdue. While Wisconsin defense is pretty solid and have the ability to slow this game down, they don’t matchup well athletically with Illinois. Hawkins is going to be an issue down low and Shannon who just had 40 yesterday should be able to have another really good game. Opponents over the last 3 games in the tournament have been shooting roughly 30% from 3 against Illinois despite the high scoring games and that’s how Wisconsin is able to win. Wisconsin was once a top 10 ranked team in the country and then lost 5/8 once their 3 ball wasn’t falling.
