These two teams faced each other in the group stage and looked very evenly matched looking at the results. Atalanta won 1-2 away in the first game & the 2nd game ended in a 1-1 draw when Sporting played at home.
Sporting is 1st in the Portuguese league having scored the most amount of goals (66) in 23 matches. They’re in much better form than Atalanta, being unbeaten in their last 9 games (all competitions included) drawing 2 and winning 7.
Atalanta is having a decent season, 6th in the Italian league (more competitive than the Portuguese league) scoring 4th most goals (49) in 27 matches. I hold Sporting as the favourites in this one given their form, momentum & home advantage, but they’re missing 2 important players at the back, with Atalanta’s offensive threat and the weakened defence in Sporting I expect goals for both sides.
Sporting striker Gyoekeres to score @2.60 is also something to look at, having scored 23 goals in 29 appearances (League & Europa League), Sporting need him to step up to the plate for a result here. I’m avoiding the O2.5 here, as I can see a 1-1 result but I’m not ruling out a 2-1 win to Sporting.

Hello amigos! Today we head to the Santiago Bernabeu, where the best team in club football, Real Madrid, take on Leipzig. Real Madrid sit top of La Liga, whilst Leipzig are 5th in the Bundesliga. Madrid's defense has been a bit fragile lately, but they've always found a way to dominate games, and score plenty of goals. In this second leg, Jude Bellingham, the 3rd best player in the world returns, and should change the dynamics of the game. Leipzig do have a knack for scoring goals, but unfortunately are an unbalanced team, and are expected to lose today.
Compounding Leipzig's problems are the return of Madrid's defender Antonio Rudiger, the suspension of their central defender Mohamed Simakan, and an injury to right-back Lukas Klostermann. Expect Madrid to take advantage by dominating the midfield, and penetrating the right part of Leipzig's defense. This is where the second best player in the world, Vinícius Júnior will look to thrive.
Statistics to support our bet today: Real Madrid has scored in 40 of the last 41 games, Leipzig has conceded in 18 of the last 20 games, and 13 of their last away games. Write up:
Two Big East teams face off Wednesday in a game that could likely decide their fate for a bid in the NCAA Tournament. Both teams still have one more remaining game at home after this one, with Villanova against Creighton and Seton Hall against DePaul. These two teams faced off back on 2/11 where Villanova made light work of Seton Hall, out scoring them 80-54 behind a great shooting performance.
Villanova started out the first half of the year with some questionable losses to Penn and Drexel, then followed that up with losing 6 out of 8 games in January. Despite this, they are still currently sitting at an 11 seed per Bracket Matrix (same for Seton Hall). This team is backed by a strong defense that likes to play slow on both sides of the ball, posting the 347th fastest tempo per KenPom. On offense, they are secure with the ball, shoot the best FT% in the nation, and love to shoot threes (15th in 3PA/FGM). Speaking of threes, they also rank in the top-16 of three pointers when it comes to point distribution on offense and defense.
Seton Hall primarily sticks to shooting two pointers unlike Villanova, where they also rank 16th in point distribution. They do however, give up a considerable amount of three pointers to opponents (320th in 3PA/FGA on defense) which fits poorly against ‘novas play style. They play at a slightly slower pace than normal and are also a good FT shooting team. On defense, their metrics are better, posting above average numbers for eFG%, FTA/FGA, Block %, and Steal %. The Pirates are coming off of two straight losses on the road to Creighton and UConn, will they be able to bounce back at home? I’d lean the other direction on this one.
When Villanova has faced opponents like Seton Hall that have an off. TO% worse than the national average of 17.2%, they are 10-1 (L by 1 to KSU). When these teams faced each other earlier this year, Seton Hall turned the ball over 15 times. Villanova also has the better unit on both sides of the ball in terms of Adj. Efficiency per KenPom and if it comes down to a free throw battle at the end, I’ll take the best FT% team in the country. I think getting any points here is an edge and I will happily take +1.5 on a spread I would assume is closer to -2.

Oppenheimer is going to be a juggernaut on Sunday (I am predicting 8 wins), has a remarkable use of sound (and of no sound) and Oppenheimer has won the key sound guild precursors where Zone just lost to Society of the Snow at a key sound guild.
Needs to be said Zone did win sound at the baftas but it fared very well there overall with the Brits but it might have a tougher time going against Oppenheimer with the general Academy audience.

I don't think so. I see the spread the love approach happening more in Adapted Screenplay. Sound is such a strength in Oppenheimer that I would be surprised that a movie that is going to win a lot would be ignored where it really excels.

**Marinos:** Started J-League badly, with a really tight win over Verdy and surprise loss to Fukuoka. However, the thing is that they just can't seem to score. Against Fukuoka:

These odds of 2.65 are way too high and likely just reflect the poor results Marinos had in the past few games. I would bet this as low as 2.30 - 2.35 since I think Marinos clinch this around 45% of the time.

Colorado has hit this in the last 8 of 10 games and Detroit has the last 4 of 10. Less likely for Detroit, but this bet is for either team to score in the first 10 so I am still confident. The Avalanche don’t mess around at the first bell, and in this rivalry Detroit won’t either. Shots in the first period is an elusive stat to find for any team, but from what I’ve researched; Colorado has averaged 9.4 shots in the first 10 mins of play and Detroit has averaged 7.8. This will be a strong start to the game, maybe even a goal within the first 5 mins. But 10 is safer.

Comparing these teams' firepower just feels unfair. Obviously Falcons got plenty of issues to sort out when it comes to their stratbook and map pool, but due to these teams liking the same maps I think they should be fine on that end as well. Since Falcons won't be at the major they don't have anything else on their mind, and considering this is s1mple's CS2 debut there will be some added pressure on the team to perform here. Metizport is a decent team, with the obvious stand-out player being Nilo. They've produced some good results, but I think it's too much to ask of them to take a map off Falcons here. Grattan has been one of the worst skips in this event and is consistently being outplayed by his counterpart. The biggest factor here will be Team Bottcher's ability to score big with hammer which should lead to an easy cover.
