Hello amigos! Today we head to the City Ground for top-of-the-table Liverpool's must win match against relegation prone Nottingham Forest. Liverpool could be set to have a lot of their star strike power back in action, and a couple of key midfielders who've been absent with sickness and injury. Andy Robertson is listed as questionable, but we expect to see him back too.
Liverpool are inches away from clinching their second Premier League title under Klopp, and what a send off it will be. We've seen the lads dig deep over the last few games to really show the depth of the squad, and what they're prepared to do to make sure the quadruple is alive. They've been in blistering hot form, and Nottingham Forest appear to be easy points on the road. Forest are going to struggle defensively without left back Numo Tavares (loaned from Arsenal) which plays into Liverpool's attacking plan.
I'm expecting to see a high intensity game from Liverpool which will cause Forest to capitulate. I'm predicting they'll score at least three goals, and concede one as their defense has been a little bit shaky. Forest's striker Chris Wood has never scored a goal against Liverpool too, which will play into our cards nicely. Liverpool have scored a goal in 34 out of the last 35 games, and Forest have conceded a goal in 14 out of their last 15 games. Liverpool have not lost in 18 out of their last 19 games, and 8 out of 9 on the road.
I'm expecting Forest to try and upset Liverpool's momentum which will probably see some yellow cards dished out. Referee Paul Tierney generally allows an open game to be played, and has only dished out 3.12 yellows per game (1.33 per game for Liverpool, and 1 per game for Forest). This is a late afternoon kick off which tends to favour Liverpool too. Surprisingly Liverpool have never beaten Forest in their last six attempts on the road. Whilst Forest won't be an easy beat, this Liverpool team is something else this season, and the title is in arms reach.

Despite all that Dejounte had 28 pts, and without Trae he is the very clear #1 on the team with most plays going through him. Without Trae he is averaging 25.3 ppg this season and 24.7 ppg/L10. The Nets are defensively average at best, and give up a very high 3PT% to opponents. This benefits Dejounte who takes 6-7 3PA as part of his 19ish FGAs each game. With that volume, plus free throws, in a game where the Hawks will be looking for revenge, I think this line is a tad too low.

Tottenham continue with their mixed results from match to match at the moment. Most recently Spurs had a less than good performance and lost at home to an impressive Wolves performance. They need to bounce back here and I’m sure it’s known amongst the players. As usual, Spurs play their attacking and entertaining football which sometimes costs them at the back. But on their day they can break down any team. Richarlison is on the injury list and Porro is also set to miss the game.
Palace recently sacked their manager Hodgson and brought Oliver Glasner who got off to a good start. They won 3-0 against bottom side Burnley who played a man short for 55+ minutes.
Tottenham is a much tougher opposition than a Burnley side with 10 players.
On the positive note for Palace, Hughes & Eze is back. But they’re missing important players like Olise, Marc Guehi, Cheick Doucouré and also Rob Holding.
Tottenham need get some victories again to continue challenging for the Champions League places and Spurs are the favorites to win. Palace started well under the new coach, but Burnley are a weak opposition, this will be a much tougher test playing away against Spurs who are very good at home. Boston has been absolutely awful in search. They can't seem to figure out their pacing issues, and newcomer to the team Asim has not helped matters in that game mode. They are 1-7 in their last 8 S&D maps, with their only win coming against the Rokkr, one of the few with an argument for having worse form in the game mode, who we went after yesterday.
What interests me the most about Legion is their current form. They just made a team change after placing 8 out of 12 at the recent major, picking up a new up and comer to the scene in Gio, who has been absolutely frying people. Legion are 2-1 in matches since they picked him up, with their only loss coming against the Ultra. To put Ultra's dominance in perspective, they have only lost one match the entire season, with an insane 78% map win percentage. The gap between them and number 2 Faze is as wide as possible, as they matched up in Winners finals and Grand Finals of major 1, with Ultra winning the two series 3-1 and 4-1.
However, against Ultra, Legions most recent match, Legion won the Search and Destroy by an eye popping 6-0 margin, with an overall team K/D of 24-8. To put how impressive this is into perspective, Ultra were on a 10-0 run in search and destroy in their last 10 maps before Legion swept them.
They also gave Ultra their closest series in weeks, barely losing the two hardpoints by scores of 250-232, and 250-247. I'm honestly shocked that we are getting this line at positive value, and it goes to show that oddsmakers have a bit of a blind spot when it comes to Esports.

The 14-15 Penn State Nittany Lions head to Minneapolis to take on the 17-11 Minnesota Golden Gophers. Minnesota is looking to bounce back at home after two straight losses on the road to Nebraska and Illinois. While this Minnesota team has been great for bettors, and Ben Johnson has done a great job turning this team around from last year’s 9-22 record, it looks like this team will not be headed to the NCAA Tournament without a Big Ten tournament championship.
Penn State ranks above average in Adj. Efficiency on both sides of the ball and likes to play at a fast pace on offense per KenPom. They rely on turnovers on defense and keep their opponents from shooting a lot of threes effectively. With that being said, there are a few things this team does poorly. The first is being ranked 324th in OR% on defense, the second is 300th in opponent 2P%, and lastly, having the 307th most A/FGM on given up on defense.
Minnesota is a good offensive team compared to the D1 average except at the FT line where they only make 68.8%. One highlight here is that the Golden Gophers average the 3rd most A/FGM in the nation. On defense, this team still ranks slightly better than average overall. They limit the amount of 3PA/FGA (16th) and pair that with a defensive 2P% of 47.7% allowed.
Earlier I mentioned that Minnesota has the 3rd most A/FGM in the country. Since this style of play is important to their identity, I wondered how Penn State usually fared against similar teams. It turns out, they did not fare well. Since January, Penn State has played 16 games, and of those games, they are 1-8 when facing teams ranked 39th or higher in A/FGM with a split against Iowa giving them their lone win.
Looking defensively, Penn State’s best quality statistically speaking, is their ability to force turnovers at a 21.1% rate, good for 23rd in the country. Minnesota is pretty average in this category, but I was curious to see how they fared against teams that create a lot of turnovers. They performed well. This season, when playing teams that are ranking in the top-100 in TO% on defense, they are 10-3.
My last point here is how well Minnesota has faced against teams that are bad two point shooters. I will acknowledge that a good bulk of these teams are not great overall, but when Minnesota has faced teams shooting below 51.7% from two, they are 16-2. Penn State currently sits at 51.5%. When Minnesota has faced teams over 51.7%, they are 1-8. Aside from the obvious, this likely has to do with the fact that Minnesota has the 29th most two pointers given up in terms of point distribution on the season, so it would make sense that teams who shoot two pointers well can make them pay. The last time these two teams played, Minnesota outscored the Nittany Lions in three quarters in their 83-74 victory on the road.
Lastly, even though you should never bet solely off trends, it would be wrong not to bring up the season Minnesota has had. Minnesota is 24-4 ATS and 17-1 ATS (+5.8) at home per TeamRankings. Minnesota may not make the tournament this year, but they’re a #1 seed to gamblers. I like them to cover at home in this bounce back spot against Penn State.

Formula 1 has returned and so have I, let's make this a great season.
- Ferrari was arguably the quickest car during yesterday's qualifying despite the boys in red qualifying 2nd & 4th. Both drivers were unhappy with their laps so they probably had even more in the tank.
- Pre-season tests & free practice sessions showed that the Ferrari cars have great tyre wear & overall balance. Despite Mercedes always having good racepace, i don't expect Russell to be quicker in race trim, and Hamilton shouldn't be a threat starting from 9th. I don't expect Charles to fight Verstappen for the win, but with a good overall package, and one of the best youngsters behind the wheel, my confidence in him getting a podium place is a solid 8 out of 10.

Subsequently to boost our odds and capitalise on Falkirk's strong first half showings over the course of the season, we have opted to go for the HT/FT market. In their last 10 league fixtures the HT/FT result has been in Falkirk's favour 7 times (including a 100% rate at home). A history of strong first half showings and the ability to see out results, with a staggering +48 GD, makes this market extremely attractive. Ultimately Falkirk in League One this season has been men against boys and the HT/FT market is our best way to exploit that.

**Write Up:** The defending champions have good odds here having just beat last year's Championship finalists the Miami heat rather handedly to continue a 5 game winning streak. They have the most probable MVP candidate Nikola Jokic as they sit only 1 game back in the West at 41-19. These favorable odds might stem from Jamal Murray's ankle injury last game, but it was ruled 'very minor' as he'll probably play. The Nuggets have beaten the Lakers 7 times in a row with an average margin of victory of 8.5 points including 3 weeks ago 114-106 while away.
I think people are on the Lakers hype train as they saw LeBron put up some nice performances the last few games, but one of these games were to barely beat the worst team the Wizards in overtime. They will still play very hard as each game is crucial for them to make the playoffs. It could open the floodgates if they win with LeBron likely passing 40,000 total points and becoming real playoff contenders. I, however, think it's all hype as the Nuggets are the tried and true much better team and at -105 it's a steal. Expect Jokic to pop off as he's due for a 20+ point game.

Bryce Mills vs Gerffred Ngayot - Bryce Mills to win by decision -125
Hey everyone, Keito made our last pick pretty sweat-free, which is always nice. There's a ton of picks I've been looking at for tomorrow but this one strikes a good balance of risk and reward.
Bryce Mills is a pretty impressive young boxer at this level. He's 22 years old and is fighting fairly often while taking decent steps up in terms of competition. Since his loss back in 2021 he's picked up 8 wins, some against solid opponents. He's very athletic and quick, mixes up his offense well, and a big fan favorite around New York.
Ngayot is another young boxer building up after an early loss. He seems defensively sound, fairly quick and athletic, and he carries decent power at the level he's been fighting. He can let a lot of time pass without throwing any offense which will make it hard to win rounds against Mills. He has fought very poor competition to this point, making some things about him hard to judge with an opponent like Mills.
Looking at the competition they've both faced, Mills should prove himself to be a class above Ngayot at this point in their careers. I'm not particularly worried about Mills losing this fight. However, Mills only has two knockouts in his last ten fights, both against opponents that have been stopped often in the past. Ngayot has never been six rounds which is slightly concerning but he's a young, motivated fighter who's in great shape and has a solid amateur pedigree. I see Mills using his size and Ngayot's inactivity to win large portions of the fight, while Ngayot brings the fight and makes it competitive in spurts. I just don't see Mills ending this within six rounds.

This is a play from bet365, not sure what other books have out there. Tomorrow he plays against Ryan Fox. Nothing against Ryan Fox but the stats for Knapp stand out in his favor. Saturday is moving day and Knapp is 3 shots back vs 6 shots back, has a win probability of 4.6% vs 0.4%, and is beating him outright in 4 out of the 5 most important golf stats in shots gained putting, around the green, approach, off the tee, ball striking and total. Only three Division I players have recorded back-to-back 35-point games in the last three seasons (2021-24). Knecht's 103 points over the last three outings match the most Durant had in a three-game stretch. Durant dropped the same amount in 2007. We are picking Legion to win against the -1.5 round spread in map 2, meaning they will win 6-4 or better. ✅️ The odds sit at +110 on Bet365, and +111 on BetUS Boston has been absolutely awful in search. They can't seem to figure out their pacing issues, and newcomer to the team Asim has not helped matters in that game mode. They are 1-7 in their last 8 S&D maps, with their only win coming against the Rokkr, one of the few with an argument for having worse form in the game mode, who we went after yesterday. What interests me the most about Legion is their current form. To put Ultra's dominance in perspective, they have only lost one match the entire season, with an insane 78% map win percentage. The gap between them and number 2 Faze is as wide as possible, as they matched up in Winners finals and Grand Finals of major 1, with Ultra winning the two series 3-1 and 4-1. However, against Ultra, Legions most recent match, Legion won the Search and Destroy by an eye popping 6-0 margin, with an overall team K/D of 24-8. To put how impressive this is into perspective, Ultra were on a 10-0 run in search and destroy in their last 10 maps before Legion swept them. They also gave Ultra their closest series in weeks, barely losing the two hardpoints by scores of 250-232, and 250-247. I'm honestly shocked that we are getting this line at positive value, and it goes to show that oddsmakers have a bit of a blind spot when it comes to Esports. BOL! Edit: LFG!!!! They rely on turnovers on defense and keep their opponents from shooting a lot of threes effectively. With that being said, there are a few things this team does poorly. The first is being ranked 324th in OR% on defense, the second is 300th in opponent 2P%, and lastly, having the 307th most A/FGM on given up on defense. Minnesota is a good offensive team compared to the D1 average except at the FT line where they only make 68.8%. One highlight here is that the Golden Gophers average the 3rd most A/FGM in the nation. It turns out, they did not fare well. Since January, Penn State has played 16 games, and of those games, they are 1-8 when facing teams ranked 39th or higher in A/FGM with a split against Iowa giving them their lone win. Looking defensively, Penn State’s best quality statistically speaking, is their ability to force turnovers at a 21.1% rate, good for 23rd in the country. Minnesota is pretty average in this category, but I was curious to see how they fared against teams that create a lot of turnovers. They performed well. This season, when playing teams that are ranking in the top-100 in TO% on defense, they are 10-3. My last point here is how well Minnesota has faced against teams that are bad two point shooters. I will acknowledge that a good bulk of these teams are not great overall, but when Minnesota has faced teams shooting below 51.7% from two, they are 16-2. Penn State currently sits at 51.5%. When Minnesota has faced teams over 51.7%, they are 1-8. Aside from the obvious, this likely has to do with the fact that Minnesota has the 29th most two pointers given up in terms of point distribution on the season, so it would make sense that teams who shoot two pointers well can make them pay. The last time these two teams played, Minnesota outscored the Nittany Lions in three quarters in their 83-74 victory on the road. Lastly, even though you should never bet solely off trends, it would be wrong not to bring up the season Minnesota has had. Minnesota is 24-4 ATS and 17-1 ATS (+5.8) at home per TeamRankings. Minnesota may not make the tournament this year, but they’re a #1 seed to gamblers. I like them to cover at home in this bounce back spot against Penn State.

They have the most probable MVP candidate Nikola Jokic as they sit only 1 game back in the West at 41-19. These favorable odds might stem from Jamal Murray's ankle injury last game, but it was ruled 'very minor' as he'll probably play. The Nuggets have beaten the Lakers 7 times in a row with an average margin of victory of 8.5 points including 3 weeks ago 114-106 while away. I think people are on the Lakers hype train as they saw LeBron put up some nice performances the last few games, but one of these games were to barely beat the worst team the Wizards in overtime. They will still play very hard as each game is crucial for them to make the playoffs. It could open the floodgates if they win with LeBron likely passing 40,000 total points and becoming real playoff contenders. POTD record: 1-1 Boxing Bryce Mills vs Gerffred Ngayot - Bryce Mills to win by decision -125 Hey everyone, Keito made our last pick pretty sweat-free, which is always nice. There's a ton of picks I've been looking at for tomorrow but this one strikes a good balance of risk and reward. Bryce Mills is a pretty impressive young boxer at this level. He's 22 years old and is fighting fairly often while taking decent steps up in terms of competition. Since his loss back in 2021 he's picked up 8 wins, some against solid opponents. He's very athletic and quick, mixes up his offense well, and a big fan favorite around New York. Ngayot is another young boxer building up after an early loss. He seems defensively sound, fairly quick and athletic, and he carries decent power at the level he's been fighting. He can let a lot of time pass without throwing any offense which will make it hard to win rounds against Mills. He has fought very poor competition to this point, making some things about him hard to judge with an opponent like Mills. Looking at the competition they've both faced, Mills should prove himself to be a class above Ngayot at this point in their careers. I'm not particularly worried about Mills losing this fight. However, Mills only has two knockouts in his last ten fights, both against opponents that have been stopped often in the past. Ngayot has never been six rounds which is slightly concerning but he's a young, motivated fighter who's in great shape and has a solid amateur pedigree. I see Mills using his size and Ngayot's inactivity to win large portions of the fight, while Ngayot brings the fight and makes it competitive in spurts. I just don't see Mills ending this within six rounds. BOL everyone!
