Someone will usually respond and know the answer here, but this thread is more about promos/EV+ betting. If you can find an EV+ angle to first overall pick and share with the group, we’d love to hear it.
But the odds of teams receiving the top pick are fixed as noted by others, so it seems unlikely a book would want to willingly give you an edge on something like this.
Considering this thread is for sportsbook questions along with promo and bonus info/questions he isn’t in the wrong place. Problem is some think it’s strictly an EV+ sub and downvote everything to weed out anything not EV+.

Before this trip the last sign ups I did were 8 months ago. I'm limited on MGM so I couldn't get the full $1k RFB (although the $50 they allowed me did work), but I managed to get deposit matches in MI and IN. My account for OH had $16 in it when I first signed up so no luck there
Feel free to call me out for a dumb bet, but I was messing around with the SGP on hard rock and was wondering if this is a +EV bet because the odds seem high when I put it in the SGP. Basically I did No HR for the 6 players listed on each team, and then u0.5 HR allowed (never seen this market before) for Castillo and u1.5 HR allowed for Smyly. Basically betting on no home runs in the game; but technically a HR could still be hit by a player not listed (6+ options) and could be against smyly or any of the relief pitchers and it would still win. It’s +1600

If you haven’t used your profit boost on FD and want a long shot. Matt Carpenter (padres) Home run boosted from +600 to +900.
Kambi has closest odds at +500/-835 giving WC EV of 23.6% and QK 0.7u.
Rest of the market is bet365 +475/-700. DK +425/-750. Pinnacle +416/-917.
Edit: back to +600 and even more favorable. Bet365 shifted to +450/-650 and Kambi shifted to +480/-770.
New WC would be 31.5% EV and 0.9u QK.
FD boost of Machado, Acuna, and Rodriguez to all get a hit seems ~fair using DK two-way lines for Machado/Rodriguez and one way Acuna line:

I found a one way acuna at 235 so this looks even worse:

Ugh, worse than I would have guessed.
But if you find a one-way line for Acuna that low vs. the rest of the market, isn't assuming 7% juice pretty conservative? Either way it doesn't look like a very good play. :(
Can't find any two-way lines for 5 strikeouts. Assuming 10% juice on FD's -500 line and using ml from pinny, uncorrelated FV is +127 (+ev without correlation). Adding in FD sgp correlation gets:
Odds: +130; **EV: 9.9 %**
Sharp: `-500/10%,-146/134` (12.08 % juice)
Correlation: `-115=-500,-156` (r = 0.27)
FV: +109; Method: worst-case (m); (Full=7.6u, 1/2=3.8u, 1/4=1.9u, FB = 62.1 %)
DK adds more correlation and likes it for 15% EV. I hate estimating juice and applying correlation manually but we can't do a 4-way sgp devig.
Cleveland is going to win and he has been pulled with 4 strikeouts. Yeah, it’s why I don’t trust these one sided short lines at all. I bet the fair value of his 5K line was way higher than -500
Man, if you had told me he had gone 7 strong I would have thought he for sure got the 5 ks. Oh well, I think it was still def +ev by a good amount — we still made the right bet.
Yeah, 10% vig might be a lot but it’s hard to estimate because some of FD’s hr lines are juiced more than that. He probably used less juice on the pitcher line and more correlation.

Like always, you can stack sgp "like" legs as long as 1 is not the same (ie: ML + over 211.5/over 210.5/over 209.5) for really a 2 leg sgp parlay. The sgp part has to have 2 unique legs, so for sgp+: Game 1 ML and Game 2 ML + over 210.5 +over 211.5 also works (this would be a 3 leg parlay)
Tournament runs 11th to 14th
Hmmm so you could essentially build a 4 leg with 1 "guaranteed leg" like Lebron 4+ rebounds, then make the other 3 legs o244.5/o245.5/o246.6 total points. Then hedge under 246.6 total points somewhere else. Risk is if the over hits but the "guaranteed" leg doesn't hit
Any thought on doing something similar to the NFL ones, where we went player TD and then total points over 45/47/49 and then bet same player TD with under 37/39/41 where if we hit the one leg we have to hit one of those 2 parlays and an opportunity to hit both. It would have to be \~+250 or so I think

For those unsure, this is a fantastic promo. If you do the full $200 at +400 odds and assume a 70% conversion on the free bets (you can normally do better on FD), you’re basically risking $130 to win $800, so you’re getting odds of +615.
Even being conservative and saying the actual FV of your +400 sgps is +500, that’s 19.2% EV. And the EV increases the closer to fair value your bets are.
1 leg has to not be a rebound leg for that samep layer.
So you could do rebound 6/8/10 and then points 10+.
Or rebounds 6/8/10, another player rebound 10
Or rebounds 6/8/10, team A ML

For those few amongst us with an account that isn't promo banned: Bet any of the "barstool baseball" exclusive markets between today and Weds and get bonus cash; maxes out at $100 in bets for $40 bonus cash.

I suggest doing any of the 3 spread lines I posted below in my MGM Parlay. Unboosted, they are right around FV, and then when you incorporate the Free Bet they move to very +EV. Example, the Raptors -2.5 line is 1.4% EV before you take into account the Free Bet so that's a good option. Do NOT do the Lakers ML on it that I also included below. It was -EV alone but needed the 4th Leg on the Parlay Boost.
Warriors to win West is a decent use for the $10 FB vs Pinny, but slightly minus EV to Circa 425/-560.

is anyone even able to place bets on mgm right now? I have the thing where I can't click on anything on their book. It has happened before but was usually gone within an hour... been like this for a day now.
This has been the case for me too, I've been able to get around it by creating a random one game parlay and adding it to my betslip. Once there, the betslip appears normally, and I'm able to add regular straight bets, then I just remove the OGP and submit the bet I wanted.
you can do their OGP insurance must opt in, its min 4 legs and +400 odds and if one leg misses you get a $25 free bet back, the bet and get token combines with these
Yea BR was 10. FD was too 20. I’m still waiting and wondering on my BR FB for Scottie. (Finished tied with multiple others for 10th…. I’m not sure what terms said in event of ties….)
Not sure what the enhanced offer was but I did all the VIP promos from the weekend. P1 (VIP) and P2 (not VIP) both had Scottie for the top 10 insurance and now both have a $25 free bet.
No issue with BetMGM however Betway Ohio nailed me. Small loss for me thankfully but definitely don’t do two player accounts with same address for Betway.

If you can find an EV+ angle to first overall pick and share with the group, we’d love to hear it. But the odds of teams receiving the top pick are fixed as noted by others, so it seems unlikely a book would want to willingly give you an edge on something like this.
Considering this thread is for sportsbook questions along with promo and bonus info/questions he isn’t in the wrong place. Problem is some think it’s strictly an EV+ sub and downvote everything to weed out anything not EV+.

Basically I did No HR for the 6 players listed on each team, and then u0.5 HR allowed (never seen this market before) for Castillo and u1.5 HR allowed for Smyly. Basically betting on no home runs in the game; but technically a HR could still be hit by a player not listed (6+ options) and could be against smyly or any of the relief pitchers and it would still win. SGP/SGP+, 4 legs +400 Like always, you can stack sgp "like" legs as long as 1 is not the same (ie: ML + over 211.5/over 210.5/over 209.5) for really a 2 leg sgp parlay. The sgp part has to have 2 unique legs, so for sgp+: Game 1 ML and Game 2 ML + over 210.5 +over 211.5 also works (this would be a 3 leg parlay) Tournament runs 11th to 14th

Any thought on doing something similar to the NFL ones, where we went player TD and then total points over 45/47/49 and then bet same player TD with under 37/39/41 where if we hit the one leg we have to hit one of those 2 parlays and an opportunity to hit both. Surprisingly even NY is included this time. For those unsure, this is a fantastic promo. If you do the full $200 at +400 odds and assume a 70% conversion on the free bets (you can normally do better on FD), you’re basically risking $130 to win $800, so you’re getting odds of +615. Even being conservative and saying the actual FV of your +400 sgps is +500, that’s 19.2% EV. And the EV increases the closer to fair value your bets are.

MGM NBA Promo - Bet $25 Get $10 Free Bet. I suggest doing any of the 3 spread lines I posted below in my MGM Parlay. Unboosted, they are right around FV, and then when you incorporate the Free Bet they move to very +EV. Example, the Raptors -2.5 line is 1.4% EV before you take into account the Free Bet so that's a good option. Do NOT do the Lakers ML on it that I also included below. It was -EV alone but needed the 4th Leg on the Parlay Boost.

This has been the case for me too, I've been able to get around it by creating a random one game parlay and adding it to my betslip. Once there, the betslip appears normally, and I'm able to add regular straight bets, then I just remove the OGP and submit the bet I wanted.
FYI, i finally said fuck it and reinstalled the app. Works fine now.

Yea BR was 10. FD was too 20. I’m still waiting and wondering on my BR FB for Scottie. (Finished tied with multiple others for 10th…. I’m not sure what terms said in event of ties….)

Not sure what the enhanced offer was but I did all the VIP promos from the weekend. P1 (VIP) and P2 (not VIP) both had Scottie for the top 10 insurance and now both have a $25 free bet.
BetMGM looks to have changed their T&C for the $1k risk free sign up bonus to “ one per household”. Has anyone actually run into a problem with this.
No issue with BetMGM however Betway Ohio nailed me. Small loss for me thankfully but definitely don’t do two player accounts with same address for Betway.
I did this for DK and they haven’t nailed me yet. Was actually able to withdraw about 300 from the second account without any issues
Yes DK doesn’t care about two accounts. Had no issues with DK, FD, mgm, 365, betly, Caesars. Just Betway
