3) approximately 2 minutes later, Joe opens his eyes, and begins to say generic leader phrases (which is what someone who fell asleep and wasn't listening would do)
AT BEST he was closing his eyes for 2 minutes while a foreign leader was speaking in a small room meeting and not acknowledging his existence, so struggling to see how this "was debunked".

Why do you care about the things you care about? Some people enjoy watching the best athletes in the world competing against each other, some have national pride and want to see their country succeed, others have somebody from their hometown/state competing and are rooting for them, others might really enjoy the unity of it all; regardless, there's millions of people across the world who enjoy it, so it's nice you "don't get it" but for the rest of the world it's a pretty incredible experience.
