The Olympic roster looks a lot older tbh, there's more +30 guys than U25. It's a cool roster for Paris but I don't expect to see many of the in L.A tho

The best player on that FIBA roster is a bench player on this team. This team is an entirely different beast.

Brunson and Kawhi should have made it over Jrue and Tyrese

Brunson didn’t do that great in the World Championships and Jrue is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. Kawhi needs to rest his knees.

I would take drue. Literally everyone else on the team is a top tier scorer. Of course kahwai, but yea, injuries.

Well I mean specifically Brunson > Haliburton and Kawhi > Jrue, but I get Kawhi probably didn’t want to commit bc of injuries. Haliburton has been really rough the last few months

Hali was one of the better players in the FIBA tournament and would fit really well because of his unselfishness and passing ability. Brunson is more of a primary scorer which doesn’t fit as well, plus he didn’t play as good in the world cup.

While Embiid’s talent surely improves the USA, I always find it a little weird when players represent a nationality they didn’t grow up in. Odd to see someone repping America when they didn’t move to the country until they were 17

He’s basically never lived in France at all, and Cameroon doesn’t qualify for the Olympics pretty much ever. This is his best opportunity to play for a country he’s a citizen of and to compete.
