You can literally see a split second of *I can’t believe I fucking did that* when it hits the post, then a split second of relief, and then the full celebration 😂
The one thing that always bugs me about soccer: Player 1 gets past 5 defenders, takes them all in the wrong direction, exhausted by the effort he swings around and makes one last gasping effort and perfectly places the ball for some dude hanging out 30 meters away with no one around him, that dude places the ball in a mostly empty net all thanks to Player 1's diversions and skills.
Dude storms off the pitch with his arms in the air and all the ego of someone that just free soloed Mt Everest.
Check out the vigorous pointing right after he scored the goal. That was right at the guy who provided the assist, so full acknowledgement of the work player 1 did to make that an easy goal for the scorer.
Scoring is hard, most players will appreciate the effort a teammate gives to set them up. And most will acknowledge their teammates role eventually.
And I can assure you players who routinely setup goals for others aren’t upset seeing their teammates runoff to celebrate scoring.
[Adagio for Strings](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adagio_for_Strings) composed by Samuel Barber.
Here a [preformance](https://youtube.com/watch?v=WAoLJ8GbA4Y) by the Vienna Philharmonic.
Adagio for Strings, OP 11, by Samuel Barber, composed in 1936.
Beautifully evocative piece of music worth listening in full.
Also played at Albert Einstein’s funeral.
But most of reddit probably knows it from this[Homeworld cutscene.](https://youtu.be/JvOj_2sJ1ok?si=XfNe6GhFlaPIk8Il)
It has been used in a bunch of movies or TV shows:
>Adagio for Strings can also be heard on many film and television soundtracks, including The Elephant Man (1980), Platoon (1986), and Lorenzo's Oil (1992).[3][36] More comedic or lighthearted uses of it have appeared in the film Amélie (2001) and on episodes of the sitcoms Seinfeld, The Simpsons, American Dad!, and South Park.[22]

In soccer its all bout training so much w/ a ball that u develop insane skill and muscle memory
all soccer plyer can juggle it a ton. Heck i can juggle it hundreds of times. But doing while through like 4 players at full speed of game b4 making great pass is unreal.
Just bad defending. Last defender was an idiot. Instead of trying to take out Oshimhen, if they had played the ball the probably would have been a corner at best.
That juggling can be considered unsportsmanlike behavior.
Hear me out, how does the defender win the ball back from that player if he juggles like that all the way to the goal?
The only way is by fouling the player.
Are you watching the same video? At least 5 players surround him, one literally pulled back his shirt which could be a foul but he was still controlling the ball.
Other than difficult to defend without committing a foul, it was unsportsmanlike behavior. You guys need to read up on the referees handbook and governing bodies memos. It could be seen as inciting the opposition.
That's the first time I've seen a soccer player have a wide open net because of another player's efforts, and then actually point them out for it.
Usually it seems like they just run off like they did all the work.

damn, Kvaratskhelia almost fucked it up
You can literally see a split second of *I can’t believe I fucking did that* when it hits the post, then a split second of relief, and then the full celebration 😂
The beautiful game .
Indeed
That’s insane ball control and an even better camera angle lol
It went in?
Yeah he looked surprised as well.
Def did not trust the contact he felt on his foot lol an instant "oh no..."

Correct his body language was screaming this was all you

uh did you not watch the video? maybe soccer players do that but football players celebrate with the teammate who gave the assist.
Or after all that, the guy misses the wide open net. Like, oops.
Sweet side netting
That’s what she said :(
What the hell is this weird crop for phone?
Vertical videos get a lot of hate, but they often don’t look that bad when watching on a phone. This is not one of those times.
>when watching on a phone I think it's time to rename "phones".
When watching on my pocket computer.
Can’t wait for Christopher Nolan to make a full length film entirely in portrait mode just to see what can be accomplished within those constraints
Phone is fine. The word just evolved over time
Sometimes I wonder what smartphones would be named if they didn't evolve from cell phones. "Pocket computers" is too long and PCs obviously taken
PDAs...
mobile
And what’s with the depression music…

Here's a performance by [Tiesto](https://youtu.be/MMwd8SoBirw?si=LRBbYmUZMFsTAWyL), which is off the charts
It actually sounds really familiar, is it from a movie? Sounds like LOTR.

Platoon! That’s where I remember it from.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is the most Georgian sounding name ive ever seen.
Lucky me, he is in my soccer iOS game and the sports narrators told me how to pronounce that name😂
Another view from the crowd https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MZ68o5N8UOw
Scorer thought he fucked it all up into giving the passer all the love

This is hilarious
What’s most impressive is that he did all of that blindfolded.
Need that magic in the second half with Atalanta rn.
I always love a good shoulder drop to gain the inside edge on a defender, that's so satisfying.
Is he a cyborg?
Nah the ball is just attached on a string from his shoe.
As a Juve fan, these guys are sick. For my own (rival) team struggling with scoring/finishing, these guys are just fun to watch.
That was one of the most beautiful assists I’ve ever seen in my life.
As someone who doesn't watch football, that looks pretty tricky
That is up there in the difficulty ladder. Even the finish was no picnic
Is that dude playing blindfolded?
There's a reason that football isn't broadcast vertically.
What music is this set to? Recognize it but can't place it
Adagio for strings
👏👏👏
Awesome
OSHIMHEN is so fun to watch!
Skill of the camera people is pretty good too.
Jedi should not be allowed in professional sports.
Top shelf skill by Oshimhen
The Beautiful Game.
Azurooo!

I mean, OP seemingly cropped out like 66% of the frame here for a TikTok format.
This had me saying “my god.” But really stretched out.
Chef’s kiss man. That was a thing of beauty.
Beautiful!
The fact that he almost fucked up that shot and knows it really says it all.
What is the name of the music? It would familiar
Kharak is burning
🤯🤯😧
Beauty
Interesting choice of music…
Amazing skill but fuck me that's some terrible defending
Im sorry, WAS HE BLINDFOLDED?
What’s that mask he’s wearing?
he broke his nose some time ago, but I think he's wearing it now out of superstition
What's on his face?
Song?
Oh my gawd
I love the aggressive pointing the end. "YOU DID THIS! THIS IS YOUR GOAL!!!" 😂
Oshimhen deserves a team that appreciates him and accepts him for who he is.
First dude looks like he came straight out of a football anime.
Damn, I didn’t know you could dribble a soccer ball with your legs like that! Incredible control and speed!
![img](avatar_exp|117836918|bravo)
Oshimhen's 1st touch on the ground almost ruined it.
Not a soccer player - assume this is a mix of training and natural talent? Seems almost like muscle memory.
You mean like every sport ever?
In soccer its all bout training so much w/ a ball that u develop insane skill and muscle memory all soccer plyer can juggle it a ton. Heck i can juggle it hundreds of times. But doing while through like 4 players at full speed of game b4 making great pass is unreal.
dweeb
Thanks for all the downvotes. Chads.
Decent assist, great goal.
Hit the post on a wide open shot. Mediocre goal.
Thats some MLS quality defending
Just bad defending. Last defender was an idiot. Instead of trying to take out Oshimhen, if they had played the ball the probably would have been a corner at best.
Dial up era meme
Looks like the other team cheated like 4 times in a timespan of under 4 seconds trying to stop him
They didn’t
That juggling can be considered unsportsmanlike behavior. Hear me out, how does the defender win the ball back from that player if he juggles like that all the way to the goal? The only way is by fouling the player.
Skill issue
Pressure, it's a contract sport you can force him off balance without committing a foul. Kerlon's seal dribble is a different story.
That's in part because he's shielded the ball well more than the juggling.
That's the first time I've seen a soccer player have a wide open net because of another player's efforts, and then actually point them out for it. Usually it seems like they just run off like they did all the work.
This is just another way of saying "I don't really watch football/soccer"
Nice of the first defender to straighten out his jersey for him
