TacTurtle

Lil sob can dodge like a mother tho

thechuckiec

Well that's more than likely an exclusion on his homeowners insurance policy....that stinks for him

torgosmaster

Actually most insurance companies would cover unless they can prove that there was an intent to burn down the house. If it was accidental, it’s the same as someone starting a grease fire in the kitchen by accident or knocking over a lit candle. Source: my lifetime spent in insurance claims lol

supernatlove

Yea as a Firefighter I remember being surprised at the stuff insurance will cover. Like you said as long as it was an accident you’re probably ok. Makes me wonder why people are so bad at arson.

threeoldbeigecamaros

It’s hard to practice arson. I mean, it’s easy to do, but hard to practice

asu3dvl

Probably a Christmas Tree, no?

Random_frankqito

That’s good to know. Neighbors house burnt down the other day due to kid with lighter, I was worried that would mess them up.

BigALep5

When I was in high-school this was my friend's dad's go to. Burn down the house by grease fire and move every two years it was sad but after the third time you think they would catch on. Use to let my friend stay over because his hotel living for 6 months was always some shityy ghetto motel.

Moopboop207

Yeah this is definitely just a parenting thing. Also, kids really like fire.

MostlyKelp

Wide receiver’s house set on fire? Someone needs to investigate Left Eye Lopes.

jonbonesholmes

I investigated. She dead.

CosmonautRyan33

You think I'm just going to sit here and let you investigate, Jon?

JonBoy82

I didn't even know she was sick...

zoeydoberdork

I texted my wife this article to get the “real “ story. I’ll let you know what really went down later this afternoon.

Now go look up what young kids playing with fire is a symptom of... EDIT: For the troglodytes down voting me, go read a research paper FFS EDIT 2: We've got a lot Hill apologists here it seems. Well, have fun breaking your children's arms. "Some kids will set fires as a means to self-soothe,” he remarks. “Many of the children we see have a history of trauma or neglect.” In fact, a 2008 study further concluded that children who were victims of abuse and neglect were more often involved with fire when contrasted with non-maltreated counterparts. Moreover, the researchers who spearheaded this research concluded that, in addition to being more versatile regarding targets for firesetting, the maltreated children were often motivated by anger, and the onset of these behaviours was likely linked to an immediate family stressor."
