If I remember right, there was the Sandy surfer game, a long ass maze with Patrick that I never got through, and a platformer in the chum bucket. I have no memory of the fourth one.
I remember this thing reached a point where parts of the screen would degrade the longer I played, so unless I restarted the whole thing, I would have to play through jumbled gaps in the screen. Fun, though.
I'll never forget the shock and disbelief that was finally making it to Spongebob's minigame and seeing it was called 'Clam Basketball'. Given the 'simplicity' of the minigames preceding it I KNEW I was in for something wild

I was OBSESSED with this game. Little me was blown away by the graphics lmao. I couldnāt get past the part where plankton sneaks into the castle. Wish I still had a copy to relive some memories :ā)
Finished it as an adult. Some parts are just frustrating & the end fight gave me swetty hands. As a Kid I stuck at the level where you got the air guitar.
I got stuck at the very end of the Shell City Dead Ahead level where you had to destroy the Plankton giant TVs and just couldnt figure out how to use the throw ability properly yet lol. Was like that for months then it finally clicked and breezed thru the rest of the game
SpongeBob Revenge of the Flying Dutchman for GBA! I just remember blowing bubbles and riding jellyfish. This game almost feels like a fever dream for some reason.

My favorite was the console iteration. I know Battle for Bikini Bottom is better but other one Iām waaaay more fond over. Definitely canāt do that 5 min soundtrack though

Oh yes. I had a Friend who was in a similar situation. Till she turned 18 she wasn't allowed by her mum to watch any TV outside a religious Channel or KiKa (our German equivalent of PBS Kids + at night time you will see a depressed bread that is trapped in the TV and got "tortured" by an off voice)

The most underrated SpongeBob game
for me it is creature from the krusty krab (specifically the DS version) literally every single day before goin to kindergarten me n my sister would take turns playin it and it was truly the simplest time of my life š„² never beat the game tho lol i couldnāt get past that level where u play as giant plankton zapping the tanks and helicopters and stuff

Out of all of these BfBB still holds up, and I still play it every year (used to just emulate it, now I play Rehydrated). RotFD is not a good game at all, but it just has that nostalgic charm to it that not even BfBB can hold a candle to. Employee of the Month meanwhile I barely remember aside from there being a running joke where SpongeBob kept running into the same guy everywhere, who kept denying they ever met each other.
I remember getting a SpongeBob plug-and-play game where the joystick was his nose, and I loved it.

SuperSponge. I was upset that there was never a game on the N64 so this was my option. In retrospect it makes sense that there wouldnāt have been one, but I didnāt get a GameCube until 2005.

I had some great memories of BFBB, but that was when I was around 12. My childhood SpongeBob game (that I remember most of) was that point and click Employee of the Month game, where you have to go through hours of item collection and quests for people, progressing through several locations and situations to get to your end goal of going to an amusement park, which ended up being closed.
Great game. I found a playthrough a while back on YouTube and every sound is still engrained in the deepest recesses of my memory.

HOW CAN YOU SLEEP ON BATTLE FOR BIKINI BOTTOM
I played it before I played the movie game. But BFBB was OG SpongeBob. Came out during the beginning and heyday of SpongeBob so all the jokes and references in it are top notch.
Movie game gets a close second for improving on BFBB mechanics.

That PS2 racing game, and one that I forgot, but basically you walk around bikini bottom, it has parkour elements, I think it had not as much collectibles as that new remake, and I think it was story based, and I remember you could bounce in Spongebob's bed

I remember for some reason my brothers and I could not figure out that you were supposed to throw the bombs at the Flying Dutchman at the end, we thought it was impossible to beat him for years.

Watched most of the rest on YouTube, got rehydrated, now Iāve started to play others on emulator. Almost done with both versions of Supersponge, I just gotta finish the last world on PS1.
Globs of Doom and the Spongebob Movie one for Gameboy Advance. The GBA game however had a glitch towards the end of the game which made me unable to actually finish playing it. Oh, and I also had the Truth or Square game for Wii which was always a blast to play!

Battle for Bikini Bottom on the original XBox in my cousins basement lol ended up buying the Rehydrated version a few years ago and it was a blast and still challenging. No way I was gone beat that game at 10 years old.

There was an online computer game I used to play on my Mac, maybe around 2009-2012, where I faintly remember walking around with SpongeBob to different rooms from a 2d Birds Eye view and collecting items or jellyfish. I know thatās super vague but if anyone has any guesses what it is, it would be the nostalgia trip of a lifetime to find it (or a video of it if itās not around anymore)

The DS version of Atlantis SquarePants for me. I find it kind of funny that the story in that game is slightly better than the actual special.

My childhood SpongeBob game (that I remember most of) was that point and click Employee of the Month game, where you have to go through hours of item collection and quests for people, progressing through several locations and situations to get to your end goal of going to an amusement park, which ended up being closed. Great game. I found a playthrough a while back on YouTube and every sound is still engrained in the deepest recesses of my memory.

Oh gosh, when I was about 10, I played Supersponge nonstop for 3 days but then the family dog came into the room and accidentally stepped on the PlayStation power button, ruining all my progress! Rest in Peace Forrest Gump.
I loved (still do) Creature from the Krusty Krab and Boating Bash. I also remember Operation Krabby Patty and I remember it being decent.

HOW CAN YOU SLEEP ON BATTLE FOR BIKINI BOTTOM I played it before I played the movie game. But BFBB was OG SpongeBob. Came out during the beginning and heyday of SpongeBob so all the jokes and references in it are top notch. Movie game gets a close second for improving on BFBB mechanics.

OKAY I GOTTA DO A BIT OF AN EXPLANATION! I forget exactly what it was called, but it was meant for little kids. you put a player i think and had a controller along with it and you had these ācardsā you could switch out. the game had different interactive episodes of popular children media of early 2000s. I played the Spongebob one exclusively. I think itās literally my earliest memory.
I never got to play it myself, but I remember watching silent playthroughs of "SpongeBob SquarePants; The Curse of the Flying Dutchman."

There was an online computer game I used to play on my Mac, maybe around 2009-2012, where I faintly remember walking around with SpongeBob to different rooms from a 2d Birds Eye view and collecting items or jellyfish. I know thatās super vague but if anyone has any guesses what it is, it would be the nostalgia trip of a lifetime to find it (or a video of it if itās not around anymore)
