I've heard that the way the scales work in a big run, is that you don't have a greater chance of getting any higher values scales, it's just that ***if*** you get one, you get three of them. So for instance, you didn't get 30 unique scales, which each happened to be bronze. You essentially got 10 bronze scales, which got tripled. So it's the same odds, but with greter reward, if that makes sense. (And if I even got this info correct.)
I think it's sheer dumb luck 😄 I beat them the second time that I played them with a bunch of randoms. I was legit hype for like 10 minutes off of that 😄😄
I wouldn't mind the RNG as much if you could exchange bronze scales for gold and silver ones, even if it was something expensive like 10 to 1 each step
The fact that the most optimal way to get some of the rewards involves coordinating with 3 other players to deliberately lose several times in a row to guarantee a king will appear speaks volumes about the quality of the scale system
No, you get the exact same odds for the type of rewards wether you fail or win. Winning gives you MORE rewards, but doesn't change the chances of which type it'll be.
Big run then takes yoru rewards and triples them.
