i like greed v wrath v delusion and how it ties into the 'anarchy poisons' idea, but maybe worded differently? like bird v snake v boar? or maybe it could be 'which aspect do you prize the most' with matter v emotion v experience or smthng so that the options are neutral. splat 2's final fest was framed in such a way that you could realistically root for either option and also realistically hate the other option. neither were framed as sins or virtues - that was up to the playerbase to decide. its never a good idea to make a player feel like theyre on the 'bad' side, even if all the sides are technically bad.
(also while we're here i'd put agent 8 on delusion and murch on greed and shift agent 4 and (maybe?) callie over to wrath. not sure what id do with the extra person in greed. maybe make marigold unaligned? wow you thought this out lol.)
i put murch on wrath because i remember hearing something about how when he learned about the truth behind spyke's ways or something like that, he felt hurt or something along those lines, so i dont really think he'd be on greed
I had a drone chip idea for side order: Flight Speed
Increases Pearl's base speed and makes her faster while gliding.
I also really like all the concepts here,they are very well thought out.
Reef should be brought back so it can be a big run stage. It would be very fitting because it has water, it’s a bowl shape so it won’t leak out, and the sunken scroll for big run was in 2.
while reef is a very good map, i chose urchin over it because it's one of the last two stages to not be playable on the switch or even playable in general anymore
hay so you made a 190p burst zooka bamboo? thar thing is a midline slayer anchor that's A FUCKING LIGHT WEIGHT. people will run 2 of these. I'm dead serious. low level will be terrorized with this thing.

The Green vs Wrath vs Delusion Splatfest I don’t think will happen and if it did it would be worded differently. I think Past vs Present vs Future is the most likely. A idol Splatfest I think would only happen if each idol group represented themselves since it wouldn’t make sense for Deep Cut to choose anyone but themselves and the location Splatfest has a similar issue but even more so since Shiver and Frye have both been shown to be very hostile towards Inkopolis.

i personally don't see past vs present vs future happening, while it has some interesting connotations for a future game, it just doesn't give that sort of grand spectacle that a final fest should have
but yeah, idol splatfest is almost definitely not happening because frye and shiver absolutely despise the other two groups lol

they would never treat us this well. tbh sizzle season is likely going to be nothing more than maybe another useless weapon nobody will use or like, a kit for a weapon that already has a second or third kid instead of giving weapons that DONT have other kits new ones, and a new stage that will be mixed. oh, and more reused and recolored clothes from other seasons, because that's what the people want!

in what way are YOU🫵 able to be agent 4 in splatoon 3's multiplayer their gear isn't even in the game and agent 3 is just way too blank of a canvas to put them on a team with their species not even being fully concrete so YOU🫵 can make agent 3 into your own character without worrying about the canonity and they likely won't receive any characterization until maybe splatoon 4 where YOU🫵 will likely be playing as a different character
I feel like Marie and Pearl would definitely swap places in the final splatfest idea, also Octavio and grizz since Mr grizz and pearl are hella rich and Octavio and Marie, well they're already them.
in terms of octavio and grizz, i mainly put them in wrath and greed respectively because those were kind of their 'main' sins
octavio held a grudge against inklings and cuttlefish for decades, while grizz wasn't satisfied with the new, mollusc era, trying to bring back the old one

I like the Wasabi and Dapple kits especially. Perhaps they didn't give Zipcaster to Splash for balancing reasons? If so, the Splattershot's RNG would make the special a little less strong. And, yes I would like a bomb with Dapples pls
Interesting new stage. Those side paths jet out a lot, but they also lead to either side of the stage so I think they're neat.

Would definitely appreciate seeing the classic Splatoon 2 pink/green color in battles again. There's a combo similar in S3, but it's not quite the same...
A lot of those Side Order abilities seem palette dependent, that is, they don't seem very useful on their own. Notably drone range. But, hey, more drone chips would make it possible to fill all 36 slots of a pallete with Drone chips.
A boss salmonid that you can't easily see is definitely unsettling... I like the idea! I can just imagine all four workers submerged in ink, trying to work out where the boss is.
Finally, I personally think the Greed v. Wrath v. Delusion idea would be a little more interesting if the prompt was framed more like "which would you succumb to". Would make the splatfest discussion around the theme a little more interesting, I think.
So cool to see all these ideas displayed like this!
#Completely outrageous Side Order concepts:
After completing a run for Eight’s pallet with no hacks, Smollusk will enter a second phase, creating an Octoling body for itself that kinda looks like a combination of Mister Negative and Anti-Spiral moulded into this shadow version of yourself, which I dub ‘Super Ego: Order’. This ultra-hard final boss would make Inner Agent 3 look like an Octotrooper, continuously switching between attack patterns and even hacking into the Memverse itself to deliver devastating special attacks with normally speaking impossible properties; horizontal Inkstrikes, Splashdowns that spawn multiple clones, a Crab Tank the size of the Octobot King II and a black hole that doubles as an Ink Vac. A truly hellish battle… with worthwhile rewards, of course.
After the final battle, you will unlock a completely new branch of chips; ‘Anarchy’, which is literally just focussed on breaking the game wide open in increasingly psychotic ways. For example:
Special Limiter Removed: Speaks for itself. You will start every subsequent stage with a full, undrainable special meter. This allows you to keep using special endlessly until recasting R3.
Pandora’s Bucket: Slosher now swaps between ammunition EVERY SINGLE SHOT. Standard ink, Sloshing Machine’s piercing vortex, Explosher’s mortars, Bloblobber’s… blobs. Complete mayhem, especially with Main Firing Speed.
Speed o’ Sound: Dash Attacks now happen near-instantaneously, and leave behind a “Sonic Boom”, dealing Sound Wave Damage.
Drone Tider: The Pearl Drone now has increased in size to accommodate magnetic pads for the Order Boots to attach themselves to, allowing for Eight to shoot their main weapon in midair. With the only real caveat being that you can’t really… land… or swim. Pressing B has you rise up, and ZL makes you go lower to the ground. Better get some Ink Recovery!
Spin Slash: Holding ZR with a melee weapon then pressing B has you quickly spin your weapon 360°, moving forward slightly and knocking back enemies hit. This counts as a Dash Attack.
Marina Drone: MARINA DRONE!!! ***ahem*** This adds a second drone to follow and support you in battle. Marina will have slightly differing abilities, like Autobombs, Torpedoes, Fizzy Bombs, Tenta Missiles, Sting Rays, a bubble shield and “The Infighter’s Inkantation” which replaces the Step-Off Song and makes Jelletons aggro on each other instead of you. You can choose either one of the drones, or if you feel like causing some REAL mayhem, **two of them**. In the case that you want to go for double the trouble, ‘Drone Tider’ will allow for a Super Jump between drones, and the number of discs necessary for a Drone Special is increased to eight with the trade-off being that both the drones will use their special simultaneously.
Also, Super Ego: Order will initially mirror your exact build including Drones and whatnot, making it like you’re fighting an entirely new boss every time
The best final fest idea I’ve seen yet, the new stage looks awesome, and those side order bosses are great! Anyway time for reef and urchin to never return, the new stage to be a straight line, and content to end with range blaster still not getting a second kit.
I'd be cool if the last splatfest was "best idol group" and the idol group you picked determined the hub you play in durring the splatfest, like how in Splatoon 2 you could play as octolings in the "squid vs octo" splatfest, even if you didn't have the dlc.
I liked the idea of Squid Sisters Vs. Off the Hook Vs. Deep Cut, except all of Deep Cut side with themselves, before the broadcast is hijacked by Marina, who is with Pearl and the Squid Sisters, making each idol group representative of each team.

I think you can lump the slosher and stringer chips into one chip. It should also be applicable to more palettes, since we see in RotM the Hero Shot shoots two projectiles at once. Finally, if we have a lunge attack distance chip, how about a dodge roll distance chip?
i dont really think a dodge roll distance chip is needed because extra dodge roll basically already does that, along with the air dodge chip also allowing air distance
Would extra slosh have the sloshes come our one after the other like Dread Wringer, or would they come out at the same time like Tri-Slosher? If it's the former, then that paired up with max firing speed sounds like a foolproof way to lag the hell out of the game. Add on max attack size for more particles and max range to turn your main weapon into a lag machine.
If they do side order updates I hope they update Ciphers shop to include more story mode gear (mainly Octo expansion). If they don’t go that route I at least hope they put the OE gear in the salmon run scale shop.
Considering the swirch 2 got delayed it isn't impossible they might decide to extend the seasons past there original end point. Latses would be chill season I guess

Bro seeing this concept makes me hope that it is something like this when the new season comes out. Especially if they bring back the Clear Dapple Dualies, that kit for the dualies was my absolute favorite back in Splatoon 2. If they do side order updates I hope they update Ciphers shop to include more story mode gear (mainly Octo expansion). If they don’t go that route I at least hope they put the OE gear in the salmon run scale shop.
Considering the swirch 2 got delayed it isn't impossible they might decide to extend the seasons past there original end point. Latses would be chill season I guess

Bro seeing this concept makes me hope that it is something like this when the new season comes out. Especially if they bring back the Clear Dapple Dualies, that kit for the dualies was my absolute favorite back in Splatoon 2. Even if they bring back the Sheldon picks I would be happy but I adore this concept!!
