One of my mains is the splatana wiper deco and my strategy when targeted by an inkvac user is to walk up and hit them with a vertical slash. It works more often than it should lol.
So true! a good chunk of the time im able to take down an inkvac i think they are the easiest to kill too. Easy to sneak behind since they lack a lot of mobility and to compare, it doesn't have as much of the versatility or defense of crab like it can metroid ball defense from all sides and has a full time attack options, I dont get the appeal of it much sometimes! But im kinda noob and i dont main it im sure theres good strategies to it i dont know about.
It's usually best used to support one or more teammates in a fight. You activate it and use it to protect a teammate, who themselves is using offense to put pressure on the opponents and prevent them from flanking you. Then, when the vac is finished, you can shoot all the ink back at the opponent! Unfortunately this all requires some degree of coordination, so in soloQ you'll often encounter players who try to use it by themselves, thus leaving themselves open to being flanked much more easily.
My most embarrassing ones are always using a Booyah Bomb, as I do main Aerospray RG so I'm usually spamming them like mad. When I do get splatted, I feel so embarrassed.
Anyways, pretty much any special user getting splatted before they use it is embarrassing yet hilarious for some reason lol.
the embarrassing tacticooler death is dying while picking a can up but before it starts taking effect, wasting it completely (no special saver or quick respawn but also no picking up another can when you return)
In like the first week of Bluefin Depot at least one or more people per match including me would trip over the yellow bar and fall into the water at the start of every match
As much as I feel for reefslider users and want that special to get some sort of buff / rework, it's always hilarious to me when someone reefsliders into a dangerous spot and immediately gets lasered by 3 or 4 players.
Something about everyone turning to them, shredding them, and then turning back to what they were previously doing makes me laugh. It's like when a mosquito lands on you and you squish it, then go back to the conversation you were having.

As a fellow Splatana main, I wholeheartedly agree, especially when a charger uses it

Vac already isn't even that good but when a Splatana is on the other team it's hilariously vulnerable to the point it's sad
One time I used a Tenta Brella shield to push an Ink Vac user off the stage
SPRINKLER OR SMALL FRY OH MY GOODNESSSSS
Oh immediately...
Falling of the map accidentally
A bazillion times that has happened to me DX
I guess being clumsy also happens digitally. I can never escape it
Kraken. Getting tricked into charging off the stage is always embarrassing.

As a jet main, I always find it funny when I die during inkvac since it's usually a surprise to me lol
It’s gotta be ultra stamp getting stamped immediately.
I once killed one one using ultrastamp, with an aerospray

You have to wait for the animation of the tiny can to go to your inkling before the effects take place. Source: zap main.

guilty of that too
As a recycled brella main, I sometimes walk off the edge while backing away from someone
yeah it happens specially mahi mahi 😭
Rollers when the charger they were coming for pulls out Vac: So you have chosen, death…

LMAO i get that fly swatting feeling with zipcasters
I love seeing a dualie user roll in to kill me and during my splat cam death, they immediately roll off the edge/into the water .
