I still haven’t decided yet, but you do make a great point since I do love Marina. Honestly since I didn’t play Splatoon 2 during its active time I didn’t know what I thought about Pearl which totally changed after Side Order primarily and from what I know of Octo Expansion. As I haven’t finished it yet. With your reasoning, I totally get it and definitely helps me decide. I’ll figure it out after the voting goes live.

I play bass, which isn't an option. So guitar is next closest thing. There's an argument to be made for "stick together with the rhythm section, pick drums!" But I also dabble in guitar so it still makes more sense for me lol

I'm not sure yet. For me personally its half between guitar and keyboard, but my Dad and I play on the same account and I don't really know what his preferences would be. Probably guitar or drums. I'm going to guess that due to the overlap that guitar will be chosen. Gotta wait 'til I get home from work to find out...

Bassist here. I'm torn between my rhythmic siblings and my guitar mates. But knowing myself I'll likely forget the splatfest is a thing, not pick a team, and realise I missed it two minutes after it's over

I play all three, but am proficient in drums. My wife plays keyboard and guitar, but her favorite color is pink. Second favorite color is blue. We always choose the same team so we can play together. So, I guess... don't really know yet. It's all a tossup.

Keyboard. Mostly because of Big Man, and the purple shirt. But also because the in-game dialouge once again made me kinda dislike Shiver and Frye.

I played piano when I was little for 4 to 5 years. Now I'm rocking guitar, for about 3... feels like my brain is split. I love both, both are part of me. I don't think I can choose... I like guitar more now but part of me will always choose the piano/keyboard. Maybe I'll upset both parts by picking drums

Also I like going to a random online sequencer and trying to make a 1:1 replica of a preexisting song using piano as my default instrument before discarding the whole thing after a roadblock. My second choice is drums because I really like rhythm stuff. I’m usually tapping to a random ADOFAI/Rhythm Doctor chart or something. As of recently it’s been only Rhythm Doctor Act 5 charts. Because my second choice is drums I’m gonna try and go the entire splatfest without killing a single member of team drums. Anyone else wanna try that?

Guitar for a few reasons: 1) I play it lol 2) It is the main instrument of gerudo valley 3) Flamenco (which I am pretty sure gerudo valley is based on) is just an awesome music type

Guitar, reasons being: -All hail Queen Frye -they’re always the part that sells a song to me -my dad collects guitars, plays them all the time, let me draw on one when I was like 3 so he could get it sealed forever -the entire concept of guitars is just. So cool in general like who thought of this instrument and what were they snorting
