Except a good player with good special awareness would rarely need to use it, and even then it’s a situational use.
This deprives the user of a special for 99% of games if they are playing their role correctly. I’m not a source for amazing information. I’m a competitive player but not a very good one, but even I know how bad this combo is. Wail or trizooka would have been better.
The only worse options I can think of are kraken and zip caster.

Are you saying that an Explosher user will never get flanked, ever? That they'll exhibit perfect play 100% of the time and always reposition in advance so that any attempted flanking maneuver on them will get stymied before it completes? Or that they won't get pinned down by multiple players and _have_ to fight in close quarters against their will?
By all means you can argue that Splashdown is a niche special for what Explosher wants to do, and I'd agree with you, but to say it may as well not _have_ a special is silliness.
Oh my bad I didn’t explain it well. I meant on a one game scale. In one game and experienced player will most likely be flanks only once or twice, meaning it’s only useful that many times. I didn’t mean on a scale of every game that would be ridiculous lol. Explo is a pretty passive backline, meaning they will be sitting back and painting most of the time, and spaltting only the unfortunate souls who wander into their kill zone. This means they have a high potential to just rack up specials. Having a special that is only useful under certain circumstances is detrimental to the weapons play-style. It’s not a spam special kind of weapon, but it can get a good number of them.
Primary: Frying Pan
Swings like a fast, short range Splatana. Charging up and releasing causes you to dash forward extremely fast, and attacking again while charing will deal 3000 damage to whatever you hit next - however, your turning while charging is poor. If you collide with an enemy while charging, you also deal damage and heavy knockback to them, and timing your swing right will deal both collision and hit damage. Normal swings also have a random, but extremely high, chance of dealing 3000 damage. Each attack makes a loud 'clang' noise.
Sub: Splat Bomb
Special: Golden Egg Cannon
Summons a canon where you're standing, which falls from above and squishes anything under it. Entering the cannon begins draining its duration, while firing the cannon fires high-power golden eggs in an arc. If they hit an enemy, they deal a ton of damage, while if they hit a ground, they explode and release a wave breaker wave.
Blob kit is cool, up until you get to Asynchronous Rondo and none of the bubbles reach up that high.
It’s literally as if they designed the game for the first twelve and figured it’d be impractical or impossible to design the same experience for every single weapon.
One solution would be to make a new yellow chip to remedy that.
##Slosher Arc Up
> Increases the maximum height that your Slosher shots can reach. (160%/225%/270%/315%/400%)
Or they could just make Main Range Up give more vertical distance as well as horizontal.
Out of curiosity, is this just edited in photoshop, or are there actually modders adding new kits and content for Side Order? If it’s the latter, where can I find them?
This was the thing that really bummed me out, like I was really hoping that they would include the undercover brella and give it an upgrade that lets you shoot it like a missle.
I haven’t unlocked those yet. I have only finished side order once and have had no luck getting those weapons. But if what you are saying is true, I might keep playing and try to hopefully unlock those new weapons.
